History

Yowie is an Australian superhero with the ability to change from Human form into a gigantic ape like creature.

Early life

Dallas Beckett was born in Sydney Australia. His mother died shortly after his brother's birth. Dallas was very patriotic and aspired to eventually join the army. During the outbreak of World War III, Dallas immediately signed up. However, before he was sent top fight, he was offered the place in a super-soldier program that was designed to greatly enhance his abilities. Dallas agreed to enter the program, where he was injected with a serum and bombarded with radiation. Rather than making him stronger, this caused Dallas to mutate into a nine foot tall ape like creature with large black eyes, sharp teeth, clawed hands and was covered in shaggy brown fur. Dallas quickly figured out how to control this mutation and was able to revert at will back to Human form. Because of his new abilities, the government signed him up to join the Hero Defense League of Australia.

Superhero

Dallas was sent to the HDLA's headquarters in Western Australia. While there he met the other members of the team dedicated to protecting Australia. Dallas spent the majority of his time at the base in the firing range or in the gym.

• Superhuman senses: Yowie has an enhanced sense of smell and hearing.

• Superhuman leaping ability: Due to strengthened leg muscles, Yowie is capable of leaping great distances.
• Enhanced lung capacity: Because the size of Yowie's lungs increase when he transforms, he can hold his breath longer than normal Humans can.
• Transformation: Dallas can turn into Yowie at will from a Human into a three meter tall ape like creature.
