Wonder Man is the final Phase Nine Marvelette Cinematic Universe film. It was released on September 5th, 2036, following X-Men: Genesis and preceding Spider-Man: Maximum Carnage. The film is directed by Adam McKay.

Plot[]
When washed up actor Simon Williams is used as a guinea pig in an attempt for Hydra to create their own superhero, he is thrust into a world of lies and deceit, trying to figure out who he is meant to be. Will he let himself be used as a puppet, or will he ascend to the greatness he was always destined for?

- Brandon Routh appears as Wonder Man, after previously playing the DC Comics hero Superman in Superman Returns. He also played the Atom in DC's Legends of Tomorrow.
- Jesse Eisenberg appears as Mentallo, after previously playing Superman's arch-enemy Lex Luthor in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League.
- Grim Reaper makes his MCU debut, played by Colin Farrell, who previously played Bullseye in the 2003 Daredevil film.
- Tigra and Living Lightning both also make their debuts in this film, with Tigra acting as Wonder Man's publicist before being experimented on to torture him, and Living Lightning as a low level superhero who is in a secret relationship with Wonder Man.
- Robert Downey, Jr. appears in a cameo as Tony Stark back in the day when Stark Industries absorbed Simon's family company. This is Downey, Jr.'s first time playing Tony Stark since the character's death in Avengers: Endgame. However, he did produce Avengers vs X-Men.
- Despite Madame Viper and Grim Reaper being the main antagonists of the film, the final battle is between Wonder Man and the Avengers, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Thor, Vision, War Machine, and Hulk.
- This film introduces a new President of the United States, Omar Hawkins, played by Taye Diggs. It is assumed he inherited the office after Bethany Harrington, played by Susan Sarandon, was voted out of office following the Skrull Invasion in Avengers: Secret Invasion.
