Wild Space is that portion of the known universe just outside the borders of the Shi'ar Intergalactic Empire. It contains over 1000 galaxies in an area that extends about one million light years from the borders of the Empire.
Wild Space has been explored to some degree by the Shi'ar and others living within their Empire.
