History

I do not recognize Doom as my Lord or my savior. I simply recognize him as a man trying to do atone for his sins... something I can identify with far too well.
Scarlet Witch

Wanda Maximoff and her twin brother, Pietro, developed their mutants powers at an early age, which led to them becoming outcasts in their home country of Sokovia.

They were eventually tracked down by their father, the mutant terrorist Magneto, who enlisted them into the Brotherhood of Mutants. The twins would eventually realize their father was truly evil, and went on to join the Avengers.

It was alongside the Avengers that Wanda lost her brother in the fight against the Order of the World Tree. Radicalized by his death, Wanda teamed with Doctor Strange in order to convert the Sanctum Sanctorum into a portal to the safehaven that had been set up in Latveria. Since humanity has begun to rebuild society, Wanda and Strange remain primarily within the Sanctum in order to protect Latveria's borders.
