History[]
Early Life[]
Victoria was born in 1945, shortly after her father was captured by Japanese soldiers, and her mother escaped from the Weapons X project. The girl grew up with Uncle Victor, who replaced her father, and with her mother, who tried to provide her daughter with everything she needed while on the run. At the age of ten, Victoria met her father for the first time in Vietnam, but he did not recognize her. At the same time, Nick Fury and Frank Castle killed her mother, but Victoria was saved by her uncle, who took the girl and escaped from Vietnam, returning on one of the military planes to the United States, and from there secretly crossing the border with Canada, where Victoria and Victor settled in one of the forests, hunting for food.. In such conditions, not communicating with her peers and not attending school, Victoria grew up a hunter and a murderer, but socially unsuitable and withdrawn.
Teenage Years[]
In her teenage years, Victoria felt a special attraction to her peers. Victor was against it, but one night Victoria ran away from home and decided to have some fun in the nearest town. Unfamiliar with the principles of human society, Victoria created a fuss around herself and attracted unwanted attention. Arriving at the moment when they tried to arrest her, Victor could not restrain himself and rushed at the policeman, killing him in front of Victoria. After being shot in the shoulder, Victoria felt something change in her body. Her mutant gene was awakened with an animal rage, in which Victoria killed not only police officers, but also several ordinary citizens. Unable to stop her, Victor simply drew the girl's attention to himself and took her into the forest, where she spent the night hunting, calmed down in the morning and returned home, crying and remembering what she had done.
Adulthood[]
Growing up, Victoria continued to do the same things as before - hunting, fishing, and gathering, through which she and her adoptive father had been surviving for the past twenty years. At the same time, she ran into her father again. After returning from hunting, Victoria found Logan fighting with Victor. Victoria attacked her father, giving him a fitting rebuff, but there was no winner in the fight, as it ended very quickly. When Logan escaped, the Canadian authorities arrived to Victoria and Victor, who had been following Logan, but now they had lost track of him. They offered the Creeds to become part of the Alpha Flight government squad, and Victoria and Victor agreed, taking the nicknames Talon and Sabretooth.
Alpha Flight[]
As part of Alpha Flight, Victoria performed government assignments, soon meeting her father again. He joined the squad himself. A few years later, Victoria and Logan left Alpha Flight, joining Charles Xavier in his mission to free mutants from government oppression.
Brotherhood of Mutants[]
Victoria participated in the guerrilla war from the very beginning to the end. As a result, she participated in the final battle, in which the mutants won and later moved to Krakoa. After receiving her father's costume, Victoria became the new Wolverine, joining the newly formed X-Men team, created from a government mutant squad. Now the goal of the X-Men was to protect Krakoa and possible secret missions related to mutants.
Wolverine[]
After becoming the new Wolverine, Victoria almost never left Krakoa, working in the local police law enforcement system. That was until she joined the X-Force squad, created for covert operations around the globe to free captive mutants and bring them to Krakoa.
Secret Invasion[]
Despite her heightened senses, Victoria could not understand that Jean Grey, who controls mutants, is a Skrull. When the corpse of a Skrull pretending to be Jean Grey was delivered to Krakoa by Stark, Victoria was appointed head of Krakoa security by Emma Frost. Now Victoria had to check every mutant living on Krakoa. And Victoria did this until she discovered that Cyclops, who is Emma Frost's lover, was actually a Skrull. After defeating Cyclops in battle, Victoria did not kill him, but only captured him by interrogating him. Soon, the Skrull revealed the coordinates of the Skrull's secret laboratory on Earth. Victoria, taking the Cyclops with her, went to Egypt, secretly penetrating under one of the pyramids with the help of a skrull that changes its appearance.
A trip to the Skrull's secret laboratory turned out to be a trap, where Victoria found herself trapped with mutant skrulls, created in an attempt to breed Skrulls and Earth mutants who have been living on Earth for millennia. With difficulty, Victoria defeated all the mutant Skrulls and got out of the laboratory. Back on Krakoa, Victoria was confronted by the X-Forces, who attacked Victoria, who was declared a Skrull at the initiative of the false Cyclops. After explaining the situation to her comrades, Victoria realized that she would not be able to get to Cyclops just like that, since Emma Frost, who controls mutants, is in love with him, so she is angry that Victoria tried to kill her lover. Pretending to be caught, Victoria agreed to be taken to Emma. Victoria suggested that Emma check her consciousness, and she did so, discovering in Victoria's head memories that Cyclops was a Skrull. Refusing to believe it, Emma ordered Victoria's execution. Victoria was immediately beheaded, but she did not turn into a Skrull, as Jean Grey did. Realizing that she saw the truth in Jean's mind, Emma ordered Victoria to be restored, and then killed Cyclops and he turned into a Skrull.
When Victoria's head grew back to her body, the girl returned to her duties of searching for Skrulls among mutants, soon participating in the battle in Washington with the Skrull army. There she also fought a Skrull who pretended to be her father. The Skrull escaped, losing in battle, but not allowing himself to be killed. But after the Invasion ended, Victoria found out that her father had been killed. Arriving in Japan, she discovered that her father had been killed by a skrull, now a Yakuza supervisor. Having reached him without any problems, Victoria took a rematch and killed the Skrull. When the ninja and the mafia, deprived of a leader, recognized Victoria as their boss, Victoria ordered them to go home. Those who refused began to argue which of them would be the best boss. Victoria did not interfere in the resulting battle between those who wanted to be the leader of the Yakuza in Hiroshima.
