History

After Victor von Doom was passed over by NASA in favor of Reed Richards to study the coming cosmic storm, he relented and dedicated his life to protecting his sovereign nation of Latveria by any means necessary. Over the years, Doom mastered the arts of both technology and sorcery in order to become the perfect hero.

However, his arrogance and ideologies would lead to him clashing with both the Avengers and the Fantastic Four on multiple occasions. However, when the time came to fight for the people of Earth against the Order of the World Tree, Doom was on the frontlines among the Avengers and the other heroes.

Managing to survive the initial onslaught of humanity, Doom teamed up with fellow sorcerer Stephen Strange to set up mystical barriers around Latveria so that they could set up a stronghold for the last vestiges of humanity.

In the years since, Doom has come to be hailed as both a hero and a savior. He even ended up taking the role of Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. so that he could lead the Avengers from the safety of Latveria and watch over his people simultaneously. His increasingly heroic actions eventually even led to his one true love, Susan Storm, looking beyond his past actions and taking a spot by his side as his wife.
