History

The Ultimates is a supergroup of enhanced individuals that was the combined and the joint forces of the mightiest superhero and willing anti-hero teams on Earth which was originally assembled around 2014 as one collective to stop and defeat an seemingly unstoppable savage Grey Hulk who was momentarily triggered Ultron in his first known Ultimate form during the latter's offensive on humanity, but later disassembled after its signification reformation during Ultimate War, due to the complications of the Superhero Registration Act, which led to the events of Civil War (2016). However, they later reassembled several times in order to protect Earth from extraterrestrial and international threats no single superhero team or even an army could defeat and prevent invasions from ever happening to keep the entire world safe, such as the Secret Invasion of Veranke's Skrull Empire (2017), the mystical threats by Dormammu (mid-2010s), Norman Osborn and H.A.M.M.E.R.'s Dark Reign (2018), the Infinity Quest (2019) and War (2020) of the Mad Titan Thanos, and the X-t(In)ction Event ignited by Mister Sinister (2026).

Ultron Offensive

At some time later, Bruce Banner decided and tried to make a specialized serum out of the original Super-Soldier Serum, not knowing that it was secretly tainted by none other than the megalomaniac artificial intelligence himself, Ultron. This Hulk was much stronger than the original, based on Banner's test results, with Ultron previously experimenting it on plants and a few lab rodents. He later injected the serum on himself, and was still able to keep the effects of the new serum.

All of Banner's success working on this serum however, would be changed, due to Ultron's return for ultimate vengeance. After being confronted by his new recurring foe, Ultron repeatedly had beaten Bruce into a pulp, taunted him with several false testimonies about him not being accepted by his loved ones, including Betty herself. Ultron then continuously traumatized him emotionally after the sinister machine had killed some of his associates inside his laboratory before locking him inside his own specialized cell. As Ultron leaves him in there, all of those traumatizing and stressful events, eventually made him hit his breaking point and turned him into the Savage Hulk.

He was tried to be confronted by closest allies and even tried to calm him down as the Hulk, but he took on all of the newly-established Ultimates, leading into a chaotic and destructive battle between the Green Goliath and the "Earth's Mightiest Heroes," as they try to calm the "big guy" down. Bruce was finally reverted to Banner by the heroes, especially Wasp and Hank Pym when they used an antidote to sting a part of his brain, rendering him back into an unconscious state.

The proto version of the alliance that would be known as the Ultimates, consisting of the Avengers, Black Panther, and the A.I.'s altruistic "son" Vision, then discovered and confronted Ultron at last in his then ultimate Vibranium form he gained in Wakanda, attacking him for what he had sadistically done to ruin many people's lives, especially Bruce's, and threatened the human race and all life on Earth. They fought Ultron and tried subduing him in his weak state, but unfortunately, the consciousness of the A.I. escaped once more and had went into momentary hiding, before he later returns to fulfill his own so-called "ultimate goal," against the Earth's mightiest heroes.

The first known huge actions by the Ultimates were greatly honored and admired by many, seeing some of the Earth's Mightiest Heroes in different locations cooperate with each other to prevent the possibility of global destruction, that would be caused by Ultron if it weren't for them, though some like always, still was disappointed and terrified by all the collateral damage the heroes had caused in the ensuing battles, believing that the higher government should be more strict in allowing these heroes and instead, have the more superior authority in terms of controlling leadership by any means necessary.

Ultimate War

Ultimates Earth-61615

The Ultimates officially assembles for the first time against the overly diabolical Movement Alliance during the climactic event of Ultimate War

As the series of terrorist attacks all over the world have continued for days and then weeks, more and more casualties are sadly, starting to increase in numbers, due to the extreme terrorism and serious devastation, continuously committed by the conflict between the diabolical Movement Alliance, led by the greatest of the most evil masterminds throughout the globe, and its seemingly unstoppable forces against the combined forces heroes and anti-heroes of the world, the Ultimate Alliance, who are not stopping their fight against the villains until they find a way to make them pay for their irreversible actions and restore back peace in the entire world.

As a consequence of the entire world after the unfortunate and tragic events of Ultimate War, the Superhuman Registration Act was eventually implemented by the United Nations, which were a set of legal documents designed to regulate the activities of enhanced individuals, specifically those who work for either government agencies such as S.H.I.E.L.D. or for private organizations such as the Avengers, Defenders, and many more. As a result of the act's successful implementation, the Ultimates have lost its freedoms, rights, and overall status as an independent heroic organization, leading to its subsequent collapse and disbandment with the devastating division and conflict of idealogies between those who supported the act's objectives, publicly led by Iron Man, and those who were against it, which were courageously led by Captain America.

Secret Invasion

When the stealthy invasion secretly planned by the ruthless Skrull race and empire comes to fruition, the Ultimates have come to reform once again with the willing assistance (consisting of both the 50-State Initiative of Iron Man and the Anti-Registration Forces of Captain America), S.H.I.E.L.D., the Thunderbolts, the Dark Avengers, and most of the Earth's super-powered individuals must unite to stop the conquering villainous extraterrestrial race, aided by the cosmic heroes, the Guardians of the Galaxy and the entire Ravager Network. During the end of the fighting, a seemingly reformed Norman Osborn, who was now supposedly going by the heroic ironed persona of the Iron Patriot, had mercilessly killed the escaping Veranke, the Skrull Queen, which ended the war and the attempted invasion, once and for all.

Threat of Thanos

The Ultimates assembles against the mighty Thanos during the events of the Mad Titan's universal conquest

Infinity Quest

When Thanos, the Mad Titan warlord, intergalactic zealot, and instigator behind Loki's previous attempt that was the Chitauri invasion on New York, had launched a second attack against Earth in his crusade to gather the p Infinity Stones, in his snappy goal to eradicate half of all the universe's population in order to save mos of it from the brink of eventual collapse. However, when Thanos himself arrives in the kingdom of Wakanda, and the joint alliance of Earth's mightiest heroes and most dangerous villains did their best to keep him away from Vision.

Unfortunate to the greatest heroes of Earth, Thanos' power was proven to be unmatched, even to most of Earth's mightiest defenders and destroyers, removes the Mind Stone from the Vision's forehead, apparently killing the android and shutting down his entire system in the process. Thanos had ultimately triumphed over his enemies once he completed the Infinity Gauntlet with the mystical stones, using this to finally wipe out half the universe, thus succeeding in his infinity conquest.

Infinity War

However, the alliance of every surviving hero, anti-hero, and several redeemed villain battled Thanos himself in the barren landscape of the Sanctuary, spiritually aided by the all-powerful Cosmic Entities. In the process, he overlooked his adoptive daughter Nebula who was able to wrest the Infinity Gauntlet from Thanos' hand. Her first act was to undo all that has occurred, which inadvertently freed the heroes and the cosmic entities and resurrected most of those who have once withered away into ash by the Titan's snap of changing reality.

The battle resumed after an insanely raging Nebula had tried to unhesitatingly killed her father out of long-time vengeance only to be intervened by her own allies, and in the end it was the messiac figure Adam Warlock who finally but temporarily possessed the Gauntlet to keep it out of anyone else's hands before the situation even gets worse, ending the cosmic conflict for the Infinity Gauntlet, at least for now.

Notes
