Changes: Tyson Rios (Earth-616)

Tyson is of Puerto Rican descent. As a teenager Tyson signed up in the military. While on a mission he was caught in a chemical explosion that gave him amazing powers. When Tyson left the military he learned that his parents were killed by a mercenary named Ocelot. Tyson dedicated his life to finding Ocelot so he became the adventurer Crimson Shadow.

Early Career

While doing some detective work, Crimson Shadow found files on Ocelot, he had been experimenting with his blood in a secret lab. Crimson Shadow found and killed the mutated Ocelot. Crimson Shadow saved the life of a monk while fighting Warlord. The monk made Crimson Shadow immortal. Tyson met Naomi Collins when he saved her from an explosion in her lab. They fell in love and months later they got married. Over the years Naomi had been targeted by Shadowhawk. When he found him, Crimson Shadow killed him. When a paradox occurred on Earth, every super villian that Crimson Shadow had killed came back to life. Crimson Shadow got all of them in space and he blew himself up re-killing the villians. Crimson Shadow came back to life and tried ended the paradox by confronting Warlord. Warlord killed Crimson Shadow and cast a spell to keep Tyson from coming back to life. In less then a year Warlord created an army to take over the world.

The Return

In the afterlife Crimson Shadow met a wizard who took off the spell that Warlord casted. When Crimson Shadow returned to Earth he took out Warlord's army. He went after Warlord and killed him. Tyson learned that his wife survived the events that followed his death. 10 years past since the paradox and Warlord had come back to life stronger than ever. Tyson sent Naomi and Ricardo to a safe place before he entered the battle with Warlord. Crimson Shadow set up an army of super heroes to confront Warlord and his reborn followers. Crimson Shadow and his army defeated Warlord and his forces. Crimson Shadow was on an assignment when he was told that his wife and son died in a car crash. He eventually learned that they were kidnapped. Crimson Shadow found his family and the kidnapper was already dead. Ricardo's power finally emerged and he accidentally killed the kidnapper to save his mother. Tyson showed Ricardo how to use and control his powers.

Naomi was analyzing Tyson's blood and saw that his cells were mutating rapidly. His powers would soon overwhelm him. Naomi told him that anything he touched would disintegrate. When Tyson saw signs of his mutation he left his family for their own safety. When Tyson was fully mutated he was captured by Warlord. Warlord made an evil clone of Tyson. He made the clone battle Tyson. When they fought Warlord wanted to see the clones abilities, so he made the clone blow himself up. The blast instantly killed Tyson. They both came back to life but Tyson was normal again, so he fled leaving the clone alone with Warlord. Tyson returned to his wife and son, but he didn't tell them about the clone. Crimson Shadow, Spider-Man, Captain America and Iron Man went to Ricardo's high school to fight Warlord. Ricardo had been fighting him until they got there. They defeated Warlord but he grabbed Crimson Shadow and took him to the Negative Zone. The two were fighting and Tyson realized that each of his punches got weaker. Warlord was able to inflict alot of damage on Crimson Shadow. Captain Marvel was in the Negative Zone and helped Crimson Shadow. The two tried to find a way out of the zone.

Regenerative healing factor:Crimson Shadow's healing factor can regenerate lost limbs
Energy blasts:These blasts are shot from Crimson Shadow's hands and when formed into a ball it explodes on impact
Flight:Crimson Shadow can fly at 750 mph
Superhuman strength:As a teenager Crimson Shadow could lift (press) 50 tons. As an adult he can lift (press) over 100 tons

Crimson Shadow is an extraordinary hand-to-hand combatant, he is a highly skilled marksman and detective

Strength level

Vast superhuman strength enabling him to lift (press) far in excess of 100 tons

Weaknesses

Crimson Shadow is at his weakest in the Negative Zone. He slowly loses his powers and will eventually die if he is in there for too long.
