Secret Wars Vol 1 8
History
I've destroyed countless of worlds across the grand cosmos... Whether I'm perceived as a honorable herald or a horrendous heretic to the eyes of the weak, I will gladly keep destroying more, just to save mine...

Early Years
Tyros, also known as Terrax the Tamer, was a Landlak warrior and a former tyrant dictator of his homeworld who became one of the last two Heralds of Galactus in his universe along with his loyal younger half-brother Black Dwarf, known more by his titular nom de guerre Cull Obsidian. Taught by the Devourer of Worlds about the events of the incursions and the strangely unnaturally-accelerated premature death of the multiverse, Terrax accepted his new role as a herald to protect his world while Black Dwarf remained fighting by his side, as always. However, fate came to the three when his master and brother ended up getting severely weakened, and eventually killed, by a powerful wave of anti-matter fired at him by the Beyonders as the cosmic explorers, experimenters, and enders of life crossed paths with their universe.
Tyros, feeling extremely remorse for his younger brother as he sacrificed himself to keep the Beyonders from getting him, he was nevertheless pushed by his primal instincts to flee away from the gruesome scene for his own life. Despite tirelessly flying away from his dying master and brother, Galactus used his remaining moments to transfer all of the Power Cosmic from his body onto Terrax's, ordering the latter to continue their mission even in the Devourer's demise. With Galactus' one last breath, he flung Terrax into the edge of the universe as the powerful essence Power Cosmic completely inhibits the body of Terrax. Being one of the last living inhabitants of his universe, Terrax plans to recklessly avenge his homeworld by destroying more worlds and spare every duplicate of his home planet Birj across the universe, now that the Power Cosmic is in his hands.
The Cabal
Moments after saving another alternate reality Birj from an incursion by destroying another world, Terrax would later cross paths with the Atlantean ruler Namor, who recently had a falling out with the Illuminati for destroying an alternate world during an incursion involving the prime reality, and willingly joined his newly-formed Cabal, in order to destroy another colliding Earth, as the Illuminati were willing to let both universes die. The Cabal continued to protect the prime universe, along with their own, by destroying colliding Earths, but Namor grew weary and disgusted with the Cabal's habit of engaging in wholesale slaughter of the colliding Earth's population, as opposed to simply planting the explosive and leaving the targeted world.
Terrax and the Cabal set about finding a way to survive the final incursion, which was analytically predicted by the Cabal's smartest minds to take place between five incursions occurring at the same time, and the end of the multiverse. After the Cabal's geniuses have worked together, they began working on a life raft based on both Earth-61615 and Earth-61616's blueprints that they secretly took a copy of, which would allow them to survive the end of the multiverse. The life raft was completed just in time, and the Cabal survived the final incursions, venturing into the blank slate of the abyss as it is suddenly being rebuilt by a cosmic force whose presence Tyros felt and knew was too familiar: the Beyonders, as they create the patchwork planet called Battleworld.
Secret Wars
Terrax and the Cabal were inadvertently freed from their raft and awoken years after the final incursions, setting foot on Battleworld, wherein they reluctantly allied themselves with the surviving heroes, mostly from Earth-61615 and Earth-61616, to destroy the Beyonders' Dominion and ultimately, find a way to restore the multiverse to its natural state and order. On his way to distract, Terrax faced a hulking Ghost Rider who declared itself to be a loyal servant of the Beyonders and their ruler, the Great Mother. The two brawled along with the rest of the resistance, life-bringers, against the other soldiers of the Beyonders, until Terrax thoroughly recognized the face of his enemy, revealing to be his own brother Black Dwarf, back from the dead as a Spirit of Vengeance.
Overwhelmed by what he has learned at that moment, the Ghost Rider showed him no mercy, and disintegrated most of Tyros' upper body with a strong blast of Hellfire as an "act of vengeance" to punish Terrax and protect the Beyonders from his Power Cosmic. With his death, the influence of the Beyonders' over Tyros somehow wore off, possibly due to the strong emotional connection that Terrax and Dwarf had which broke the coercion, with Dwarf (still in his Ghost Rider form) realizing what the Beyonders had done to him for the past countless years, wherein they turned him into another disposable pawn. Dejected by guilt and enraged since the cosmic gods have controlled him into killing him, Dwarf joined the heroic resistance against the Beyonders until he himself had joined with his brother after the Great Mother snapped half of the Battleworld's population into ashes as a way to mock her resistors, demonstrating merely a small percentage of her godly powers to her enemies.
Terrax's resurrection unlikely occurred when the Beyonder brought back the multiverse with the assistance of genius heroes such as Mister Fantastic, although in some way, he was able to spiritually live on in the form of his prime reality counterpart, who was resurrected with his brother along with the newly-reborn, recovering universe.
