History

Quote1 With great power, comes an even greater responsibility. Quote2
Timothy Parker

Early Life

Tim was born to Timothy Parker Sr. and Diana Johnson sometime in the early 1990s. When Tim was 7, however, he was sent to go live with his Uncle Pete and Auntie M, as well as their 4 year old daughter, May, in order to attend to personal business in Japan, although they never came back.

High School

By the year 2006, Tim was beginning his second year at Midtown High and May was just beginning her first year there. However, unlike his unusually popular cousin, Tim had no popularity whatsoever, other than the love and affection that May gave him, and was considered an outcast due to his high intelligence, and was repeatedly bullied by his classmate and high school jock Flash Thompson.

Becoming Spider-Man

One day, Tim invited his high school crush, Liz Allen, to accompany him to a science demonstration about radioactivity, and she humiliatingly rejected him. Tim went alone to the demonstration, hosted by his biology teacher, Dr. Curtis Connors, and witnessed the experiment in action as two antennae-like devices fired a stream of pure radioactive light out of them. However, just in the midst of the experiment, a small spider lowered itself into the middle of the experiment, and was bombarded with high levels of radiation. The spider then crawled onto Tim's hand and bit him. Tim then left the laboratory and went home. Feeling disoriented, Tim passed out in his room, where he underwent a startling metamorphosis. Tim awoke the next day to a few stunning surprises; his eyesight was repaired, his muscles were more defined, and he was much stronger than before. While walking home from school, however, an oncoming car threatened to hit him until Tim jumped about 30 feet away, and found himself sticking to the walls, as well as having the ability to crawl up them with the utmost ease. He also saw that he was strong enough to crush metal as if it were paper. Wanting to talk to his distant-growing nephew, Peter told Tim a valuable lesson about great power and great responsibility, although Tim brushed this off. Seeking an opportunity to impress Liz, Tim constructed mechanical web-shooters and applied himself at a local wrestling ring in order to earn $4,000 dollars to buy a car. Tim easily bested the wrestler, but earned a measly $1,200 by the greedy promoter as opposed to the $4,000 that was offered in the papers, stating that it wasn't his problem. However, just as Tim was leaving the ring, a thief broke into the offices and robbed the promoter. However, in an act of revenge, Tim let the thief escape, telling the promoter that it wasn't his problem. However, upon arriving at the house, Tim found it surrounded by police cars. He was then told that an armed burglar had broken into the house and had shot Uncle Pete, who had surprised the man. Tim tracked the burglar down to the waterfront, only to discover that it was the same thief that he had let escape. Out of rage, Tim then pushed the burglar out of the window behind him, killing him instantly. Tim then remembered his uncle's words about power and responsibility. A few weeks later, at the start of winter break, Tim began using his abilities to fight injustice, donning a costume and the persona of Spider-Man. J. Jonah Jameson, a newspaper company headmaster, hires Tim as a freelance photographer, since he is the only person providing clear images of Spider-Man.

Meeting the Bird of Prey

When valuable diamonds begin to go missing from several museums, Spider-Man investigates the crimes. He eventually witnesses one of the robberies in the act and gives chase, only to discover that the thief is really the corporate warmonger Adrian Toomes, who has dubbed himself as "the Vulture". Spider-Man and the Vulture do battle, and the Vulture manages to shake off Spider-Man, throwing him into a water tower. Spider-Man escapes and returns home. Tim then begins to wonder what makes the Vulture fly, and eventually concludes on the fact that he uses reverse magnetism device in his wings that cause him to fly. Tim then creates a reverse magnetism disruptor to clip Toomes' flight. Spider-Man then employed the device in battle against the Vulture, ruining his flight and stopping his crime spree.

Doctor Octopus: Armed and Dangerous

When Tim's old physicist teacher Otto Octavius invited him to a special demonstration of his nuclear cylotron, which could replace a large number of nuclear power plants across the globe, Tim is eager to accept. Octavius then demonstrates his "helper arms", an apparatus that is attached to his back with four, long tentacles protruding from the sides of them, explaining that these were used to handle dangerous, radioactive material. On the day of the experiment, however, a piece of stray metal is caught in the cylotron, causing the device to become unstable. The shattering glass kills several of Octavius' co-workers, including his wife, before Spider-Man arrives and shuts down the power, but not before the heat let off from the cylotron fuses the helper arms to Octavius' spine.

Powers and Abilities

Powers

Spider-Sense: Spider-Man possesses an extrasensory "danger" or "spider" sense which warns him of potential immediate danger by the manifestation of a tingling sensation in the back of his skull, and links with his superhuman kinesthetics, enabling him to evade most any injuries, unless he cognitively overrides his automatic reflexes. The precise nature of this sense is unknown. It appears to be a simultaneous clairvoyant response to a wide variety of phenomena (everything from falling safes to speeding bullets to thrown punches), which has given several hundredths of a second warning, which is sufficient time for his reflexes to allow him to avoid injury. The sense also can create a general response on the order of several minutes: he cannot discern the nature of the threat by the sensation. He can, however, discern the severity of the danger by the strength of his response to it. Spider-Man's spider-sense is directional and can guide him to or away from hidden weapons and enemies. Sudden and extreme threats can cause his spider-sense to react with painful intensity. Spider-Man can also sense and dodge attacks directed randomly or by a computer. Using his spider-sense to time his enhanced reflexes, Spider-Man can casually dodge attacks up to and including automatic-weapons fire, provided there is sufficient distance. His spider-sense is sufficiently well-linked to his reflexes to the point that a threat can trigger them even when Spider-Man is asleep or stunned. His spider-sense has helped him preserve his secret identity since it alerts him to observers or cameras when changing into or out of his costume. The spider-sense does react to those who Peter does not consider to be a threat, such as Aunt May. Spider-Man can choose to ignore his spider-sense, and distraction or fatigue diminish its effectiveness. Spider-Man's fighting style incorporates the advantage that his "spider-sense" provides him. His body begins to produce more adrenaline after the sense is triggered, an extension of the 'fight or flight syndrome.'

Superhuman Strength: Spider-Man possesses superhuman strength enabling him to lift approximately 15 tons. Spider-Man's physical strength is sufficient to lift and throw objects as heavy as most standard automobiles with ease. He must also pull his punches and kicks unless fighting someone of similar or greater physical durability. Otherwise, his blows would prove fatal to a normal human being. Spider-Man's physical strength also extends into his legs, enabling him to be able to jump to a height of several stories in a single bound. Spider-Man has shown impressive feats of strength. Such as when he was able to hold a cable-car full of children with one arm and show no sign of stress. He was also able to send Flash Thompson flying many meters with a single punch. Also, Spidey was able to support the warehouse where Doctor Octopus was holding his secret experiment. Also, Spider-Man has managed to over-power multiple men with ease. And his strength temporary increased when he was connected to the Venom Symbiote.

Superhuman Speed: Spider-Man can run and move at speeds that are beyond the physical limits of the finest human athlete. He is ultimately capable of running at speeds in excess of 30 miles per hour.

Superhuman Stamina: Spider-Man's advanced musculature produces less fatigue toxins during physical activity than an ordinary human. This allows him to exert himself physically for much longer periods of time before fatigue begins to impair him. At his peak, Spider-Man can physically exert himself for several hours before the build up of fatigue toxins in his blood begins to impair him.

Superhuman Durability: Spider-Man's body is physically tougher and more resistant to some types of injury than the body of a normal human. His body is more resistant to impact forces than anything else. He can withstand great impacts, such as falling from a height of several stories or being struck by a incredibly strong opponent, that would severely injure or kill a normal human with little to no discomfort.

Superhuman Agility: Spider-Man's equilibrium, dexterity, and flexibility are all enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete. Spider-Man is extraordinarily limber and his tendons and connective tissues are twice as elastic as the average human being's, despite their enhanced strength. He has the combined agility and acrobatic prowess of the most accomplished circus aerialists and acrobats. He can also perform any complicated sequence of gymnastic stunts such as flips, rolls, and springs. He can easily match or top any Olympic record at gymnastics apparatus such as flying rings, climbing ropes, horizontal bars, trampolines.

Superhuman Reflexes: Spider-Man's reflexes are similarly enhanced and are currently about 30 times greater than those of an ordinary human. In combination with his spider-sense, the speed of his reflexes allows him to dodge almost any attack, or even gunfire, if he is far enough away.

Superhuman Equilibrium: Spider-Man possesses the ability to achieve a state of perfect equilibrium in any position imaginable. He seems able to adjust his position by instinct, which enables him to balance himself on virtually any object, no matter how small or narrow with little effort even with two fingers.

Wall-Crawling: After being bitten, Tim's skin grows a sharp, "barbed" like material and this allows him to cling to surfaces and crawl up them with the utmost of ease.

Regenerative Healing Factor: Spider-Man regenerates his injuries faster and more extensively than a normal human. After getting his powers, he soon found that his eyesight was repaired, discarding his glasses. Minor injuries heal in a matter of hours and serious injuries in a matter of days, although Spider-Man is not able to regenerate missing limbs or organs. Thanks to his regenerative power he is more resistant to the effects of alcohol and drugs. It is unknown if the power slows down aging process, although it is speculated that it is possible.

Abilities

Other than them being noticeably inferior, seemingly those of Timothy Parker of Earth-9022. Throughout the series, Tim goes from a science whiz in high school to a laboratory assistant of Dr. Connors and a brilliant Columbia University physics student who is at the top of his class as he becomes secure with his dual roles. His knowledge of science has impressed the likes of Harry Osborn, Otto Octavius, and Doctor Connors. Considered a genius by Normie and Gwen, he has shown himself to be knowledgeable in mechanics, quantum mechanics, photonics, nuclear fusion, acoustics, and nanotechnology.

Strength level

Tim is capable of lifting nearly 15 tons.

Weaknesses

Spider-Sense Disruption: Spider-Man's Spider Sense can lose its effectiveness if it detects something that is not registered as a threat like Venom Symbiote. When deprived of his spider-sense, Spider-Man becomes vulnerable to surveillance and attack, and web-slinging requires most of his concentration.

Bad Luck: Not exactly a flaw or a disadvantage in his crime-fighting, Timothy Parker's life is generally a complicated one. Peter has been forced in numerous ocassions to lie to people close to him, be late in his commitments, get away from people and so on for the sake of his secret identity. This inherent difficulty to get his superhero life a secrecy, matched with the number of superhuman events and beings in New York and simply coincidence has in turn, lead Tim to aggravate people around himself, even ones close to himself, and to, more often than not, run into trouble and embarrassment. As Tim often remarks whenever he misses an opportunity to better his social life, improve his finances, or even get to work on time, (due to his super-heroics), "Typical Parker Luck."
