Tim was born to Timothy Parker Sr. and Diana Johnson sometime in the early 1990s. When Tim was 7, however, he was sent to go live with his Uncle Pete and Auntie M, as well as their 4 year old daughter, May, in order to attend to personal business in Japan, although they never came back.

When the Parker family got together once again for another reunion, Doctor Octopus attacked the party and kidnapped his old lab partner Richard Parker. Tim then suited up as Spider-Man and attacked Octavius, but Ock held Aunt May hostage, forcing Spider-Man to stop his attack. Octavius then released May and escaped with Richard. Later, Octavius kidnapped Liz Allen, whose father was a multi-millionaire and held her hostage. Spider-Man investigated the crimes and figured out Ock's strategy; by kidnapping Liz, Ock could gain a ransom of his demanding. Then he would force Richard to help him reconstruct the cylotron using the funds that Octavius gained from the ransom. Spider-Man then tracked down Doctor Octopus to an abandoned rocket silo, where the six-armed maniac was reconstructing his machine. Spider-Man battled against Octopus and eventually forced him to flee before rescuing the hostages.

===The Alien Costume===
When Tim takes a walk through Central Park, a meteor crashes. Tim investigates and finds a seemingly living organism that bonds with his skin and creates a new black version of his costume, complete with unlimited webbing and enhanced strength. Spider-Man then investigates a criminal robbing a bank with vibro-energy. He eventually discovers it to be the new super criminal Shocker. Spider-Man and Shocker then go at it, and Spider-Man almost kills Shocker in the battle until he realizes and lets Shocker go, who then flees in terror. Spider-Man then takes on more super criminals as well, such as Daredevil's old enemy Bullseye, the super strong, armored Rhino, and does battle against Kraven the Hunter once more. He eventually begins lashing out at those he holds dear to him as well, even giving May a black eye during an argument. Realizing that the suit is changing his personality, Tim goes to see his old friend Curt Connors. Connors deduces that Spider-Man's black costume is, in fact, a symbiote, an alien organism that functions very much similar to that of a parasite, with a few differences; unlike parasites, the symbiote requires a host to survive. In time, the symbiote and it's host become one and the same, with both of them requiring each other to survive. Realizing that he needs to get the suit off, Spider-Man swings to a bell tower and tries to remove the suit, which proves to be a difficult task due to the fact that their bond is near to completion. However, Spider-Man finds that the sonic vibrations in the bell weaken the symbiote, and he finally rids himself of the suit. Weakened and vulnerable, Tim escapes and returns to Forest Hills. However, Spider-Man wasn't the only person at the tower. Another individual was present when the symbiote fell through the cracks, and they both shared a burning hatred for Spider-Man...

====You'll See Us Everywhere, Even in Your Nightmares====
When Spider-Man swings from Harlem to Midtown in the middle of the night, he is besieged by the combined power of the Scorpion and the Rhino. The two villains overpower and bury Spider-Man underneath, but are attacked and defeated by an unknown force that ties them up in a web. When Spider-Man awakens, he questions how they could be entangled in webbing. But from the shadows, a dark and mysterious figure watches Spider-Man as he swings away. Then, at the Daily Bugle, an old friend of Tim's, Eddie Brock, who had just recently lost his job there, tells Tim to tell Spider-Man to meet him on the rooftop. On the rooftop, Eddie revels to Spider-Man that he knows his secret identity, and changes into his "other half"; Venom, the result of the symbiote bonding with Brock. Spider-Man and Venom battle, but Venom tells Spider-Man that he knows all of his weaknesses, including who everyone he knows. Venom then leaves and kidnaps Captain America and Scarlet Witch from Avengers Mansion, Daredevil from the streets, and Liz Allen from her Forest Hills home and brings them all to the same church where Spider-Man got rid of the symbiote a few weeks ago in order to set a trap. Spider-Man arrives and falls for the trap. Venom then issues Spider-Man an ultimatum; fight him to the death or rescue the hostages from the bell. Spider-Man manages to trick Venom into crawling underneath the surface of the top of the bell tower and rescues the hostages. The bells vibrations then defeat Venom by separating Brock from the symbiote. The symbiote is then taken back to Avengers Mansion and Eddie Brock to the police.

====The Battle of the Insidious Six====
When Spider-Man begins to mysteriously spaz in and out of his powers at random, he seeks help from Curt Connors. Connors then informs Spider-Man that his blood was still undergoing a mutagenic process, and that his powers would be gone for an indefinite amount of time, possibly forever. Meanwhile, a mysterious figure orders the break-out of five of Spider-Man's deadliest foes, and thus, an assailant known as the Chameleon breaks out Doctor Octopus, Electro, the Rhino, Mysterio, and the Scorpion from Ryker's Island and forms them into the ultimate anti-Spider-Man weapon; the Insidious Six. However, Tim realizes this and goes to stop them as Spider-Man, but is swiftly defeated due to their combined might and the loss of his powers. After being brought to their base, Spider-Man is unmasked, only to be met with the Six's disbelief and thinking that Tim had been sent by the real Spider-Man in order to handle them. Tim is then used as a beacon of sorts to lure his alter ego to a rooftop for a trap set by the Six to capture Spider-Man. However, Tim, having stolen one of Mysterio's holo-cubes, manages to fall off the rooftop and change into Spider-Man. With his powers partially returned, Spider-Man manages to fight off the Insidious Six long enough to get help. Spider-Man then gets unexpected aid in the form of the Armored Avenger Iron Man, who aids Spider-Man in stopping half the team, with only Doctor Octopus, Rhino, and Scorpion escaping. Afterwards, Iron Man, who had previously disliked Spider-Man, begins to warm up to the web-spinner and thanks him before parting. Afterwards, Spider-Man visits Curt Connors, who then reveals that Spider-Man's blood is undergoing a mutagenic change that will transform him into an inhuman monster.

Early Life

Tim was born to Timothy Parker Sr. and Diana Johnson sometime in the early 1990s. When Tim was 7, however, he was sent to go live with his Uncle Pete and Auntie M, as well as their 4 year old daughter, May, in order to attend to personal business in Japan, although they never came back.

High School

By the year 2006, Tim was beginning his second year at Midtown High and May was just beginning her first year there. However, unlike his unusually popular cousin, Tim had no popularity whatsoever, other than the love and affection that May gave him, and was considered an outcast due to his high intelligence, and was repeatedly bullied by his classmate and high school jock Flash Thompson.

Becoming Spider-Man

One day, Tim invited his high school crush, Liz Allen, to accompany him to a science demonstration about radioactivity, and she humiliatingly rejected him. Tim went alone to the demonstration, hosted by his biology teacher, Dr. Curtis Connors, and witnessed the experiment in action as two antennae-like devices fired a stream of pure radioactive light out of them. However, just in the midst of the experiment, a small spider lowered itself into the middle of the experiment, and was bombarded with high levels of radiation. The spider then crawled onto Tim's hand and bit him. Tim then left the laboratory and went home. Feeling disoriented, Tim passed out in his room, where he underwent a startling metamorphosis. Tim awoke the next day to a few stunning surprises; his eyesight was repaired, his muscles were more defined, and he was much stronger than before. While walking home from school, however, an oncoming car threatened to hit him until Tim jumped about 30 feet away, and found himself sticking to the walls, as well as having the ability to crawl up them with the utmost ease. He also saw that he was strong enough to crush metal as if it were paper. Wanting to talk to his distant-growing nephew, Peter told Tim a valuable lesson about great power and great responsibility, although Tim brushed this off. Seeking an opportunity to impress Liz, Tim constructed mechanical web-shooters and applied himself at a local wrestling ring in order to earn $4,000 dollars to buy a car. Tim easily bested the wrestler, but earned a measly $1,200 by the greedy promoter as opposed to the $4,000 that was offered in the papers, stating that it wasn't his problem. However, just as Tim was leaving the ring, a thief broke into the offices and robbed the promoter. However, in an act of revenge, Tim let the thief escape, telling the promoter that it wasn't his problem. However, upon arriving at the house, Tim found it surrounded by police cars. He was then told that an armed burglar had broken into the house and had shot Uncle Pete, who had surprised the man. Tim tracked the burglar down to the waterfront, only to discover that it was the same thief that he had let escape. Out of rage, Tim then pushed the burglar out of the window behind him, killing him instantly. Tim then remembered his uncle's words about power and responsibility. A few weeks later, at the start of winter break, Tim began using his abilities to fight injustice, donning a costume and the persona of Spider-Man. J. Jonah Jameson, a newspaper company headmaster, hires Tim as a freelance photographer, since he is the only person providing clear images of Spider-Man.

Meeting the Bird of Prey

When valuable diamonds begin to go missing from several museums, Spider-Man investigates the crimes. He eventually witnesses one of the robberies in the act and gives chase, only to discover that the thief is really the corporate warmonger Adrian Toomes, who has dubbed himself as "the Vulture". Spider-Man and the Vulture do battle, and the Vulture manages to shake off Spider-Man, throwing him into a water tower. Spider-Man escapes and returns home. Tim then begins to wonder what makes the Vulture fly, and eventually concludes on the fact that he uses reverse magnetism device in his wings that cause him to fly. Tim then creates a reverse magnetism disruptor to clip Toomes' flight. Spider-Man then employed the device in battle against the Vulture, ruining his flight and stopping his crime spree.

Doctor Octopus: Armed and Dangerous

When Tim's old physicist teacher Otto Octavius invited him to a special demonstration of his nuclear cylotron, which could replace a large number of nuclear power plants across the globe, Tim is eager to accept. Octavius then demonstrates his "helper arms", an apparatus that is attached to his back with four, long tentacles protruding from the sides of them, explaining that these were used to handle dangerous, radioactive material. On the day of the experiment, however, a piece of stray metal is caught in the cylotron, causing the device to become unstable. The shattering glass kills several of Octavius' co-workers, including his wife, before Spider-Man arrives and shuts down the power, but not before the heat let off from the cylotron fuses the helper arms to Octavius' spine. Afterwards, Tim gets word from the protector of Hell's Kitchen, Daredevil, that Octavius has escaped from the hospital and is on a rampage across the city. Spider-Man then searches for Octavius and finds him at an abandoned warehouse, only for himself to be thrown out by Octavius' tentacles. Afterwards, Tim starts another search for Octavius and eventually discovers that he is trying to reconstruct his cylotron in order to get results. Spider-Man discovers Octavius, now going by his media-dubbed name "Doctor Octopus", about to activate his unstable and dangerous cylotron. Spider-Man and Doctor Octopus do battle, and Spider-Man wins by punching Ock's jaw. Spider-Man then deactivates the cylotron and turns Octavius over to the authorities.

Meeting Captain America

While patrolling the lower west side of New York, mainly near Avengers Mansion, Spider-Man encounters the recently resurrected World War II legend Captain America. The two quickly become friends, with the sharing their doubts, fears, shyness, and awkwardness. the two then part as good friends. Afterwards, Spider-Man and Captain America would regularly team up to face super threats such as Crossbones, Baron Zemo, and the Radioactive Man. Cap would even try to get Spidey a place on the Avengers, but Tony Stark, the armored Avenger Iron Man, refused to allow Spider-Man on the team due to his distrust in the hero.

The Fly in the Spider's Web

When a new anti-hero known as the Buzz appeared in New York, Spider-Man investigated him under the suspicion that he was a criminal. However, they would be forced to team up with each other when the villain Doctor Jade appeared and teamed up with Doctor Octopus to rebuild the cylotron that the latter was working on. Spider-Man and the Buzz defeated and arrested Jade and forced Octavius to flee. The two then parted as friends.

Scarlet Seduction

When Tim attended a neogenics demonstration at the Hardy Science Foundation, the experiment was attacked by Doctor Octopus. Tim then changed into Spider-Man and did battle against Octavius. However, there were two young teenagers in the crowd; siblings Pietro and Wanda Maximoff, the two young Avengers Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch. When Octavius escaped, he sent the whole roof collapsing on Spider-Man. However, Wanda aided the webbed protector of New York by holding up the roof with her hex powers. Spider-Man then managed to get Wanda and Pietro out of the building just as it collapsed. When Spider-Man chased after Doc Ock, though, the found him at an abandoned warehouse. There, Spider-Man discovered that Octavius was working with the super-villain mastermind Magneto. In the ensuing battle, however, Spider-Man is easily overwhelmed by the villains' combined might. However, Wanda and Pietro followed Spider-Man. Despite Pietro's reluctance, however, Wanda persisted in aiding Spider-Man against their father, of whom they had been following for the last week. Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver then burst into the warehouse and aided Spider-Man, defeating Octavius and forcing Magneto to flee. Days later, however, Scarlet Witch had found herself unusually attracted to Spider-Man, and eventually discovered it to be love. Deducing Spider-Man's identity in less than a day, Scarlet Witch tried to romance Spider-Man, of whom was reluctant due to his feelings towards Liz Allen, but eventually decided to play along with it. However, their relationship was short-lived when Spider-Man became extremely uncomfortable with the Witch's seduction and attempts at romance, but the two remained as good friends.

Night of the Lizard

When Curt Connors became hell bent on regrowing his arm that he lost in the Vietnam War, he and Tim began work on a serum that could regrow limbs and organs in humans by using DNA from reptiles. However, Connors became impatient and tested the serum too early, at a point before it could be perfected. However, while Connors regrew his arm, the serum also had a horrible and disastrous side effect of transforming him into a gigantic, 12-foot tall lizard. The Lizard rampaged throughout New York until Spider-Man investigated. Eventually tracking the Lizard into the sewers, Spider-Man did battle against the alligator man. However, Spidey was forced to retreat to the surface when the Lizard overpowered him. Eventually discovering a cure, Tim tracked the Lizard down into the sewers once more and administered the serum, reverting him back into Curt Connors.

Sting of the Scorpion

When Jonah Jameson became suspicious of Tim's method of capturing clear shots of Spider-Man, he sent a private eye, Mac Gargan, to spy on him. However, when Gargan failed, Jameson hired Farley Stillwell to transform him into a living weapon that could destroy Spider-Man. Using the DNA of a scorpion, the natural predator of a spider, Stillwell transformed Gargan into the Scorpion, a living powerhouse of brute strength and equipped with an exoskeleton armor featuring a long, powerful tail that could spray acid. Jameson then sent the Scorpion to capture Spider-Man. However, in the ensuing battle, Spider-Man informed the Scorpion that his armor was welded onto his skin, forever encasing him inside the armor. Going insane, the Scorpion went after Jonah Jameson, blaming him for his mutation and curse of being a human scorpion. Attacking him at his office, the Socrpion was followed and stopped by Spider-Man. The ensuing battle went from Jameson's office all the way to Times Square. There, Spider-Man managed to tear off the Scorpion's tail and knock him out with an uppercut.

Framed by a Mystery

When a new, mysterious super hero appeared in New York, called Mysterio, he went to Jonah Jameson and told him to print a challenge for Spider-Man in his paper; meet him at the George Washington Bridge and face Mysterio or become a laughing stock in the eyes of New York. Spider-Man met his match and fought Mysterio on the bridge, only to be defeated by his illusions and holograms. Feeling distraught, Tim gave up as Spider-Man for the first time. However, when Johnny Storm of the Fantastic Four visited Tim's school and gave a speech about never giving up, Tim became determined and resumed his identity. Searching for clues, Spider-Man discovered that Mysterio was Quentin Beck, a washed up special effects artist who was fired over a decade ago after the special effects for a film he was working on went horribly wrong. Finding Beck's hideout at Wonder Studios, Spider-Man was forced to run a gauntlet of advanced illusions that were placed as death traps. Finding and unmasking Mysterio, Spider-Man turned the fishbowl-headed crook and his technology over to the authorities.

Goblin's Game

When Tim was paid a visit by his old friend Normie Osborn, of whom his family had been living in Europe, Tim was also approached by Normie's father, Harry, the owner and CEO of Oscorp Industries. Harry was very impressed by Tim's intelligence and offered him a job, although Tim politely declined due to his photography work at the Daily Bugle. However, days later, reports came in of an unidentified costumed killer attacking Quest Aerospace, prompting Spider-Man to investigate. However, he turned up with a dead trail and no evidence. Afterwards, at the World Unity Festival, Tim discovered that Normie was trying to romance May, who was returning the affection. However, Tim's spider-sense began to go off and he saw a man encased in a decorated, ghoulish, green battlesuit riding on a glider appear at the festival. The figure then attacked the festival and killed Oscorp's present Board of Directors. Tim then suited up as Spider-Man and attacked the assailant. However, Spider-Man discovered that the assailant had strength, speed, and reflexes that rivaled his own. However, Spider-Man managed to force the assailant away by damaging his glider. Spider-Man then managed to save May, who was falling from a damaged balcony and bring her to safety. Afterwards, the Daily Bugle dubbed the assailant "the Green Goblin" due to it's goblin-like appearance.

Hunted

When big-game hunter Sergei Kravenoff came to New York, he sought to hunt down the one animal that would make him the ultimate hunter; Spider-Man. Tim, hot off his battle against the Green Goblin at the World Unity Festival, was very unnerved about the idea of a literal man-hunter chasing after him for game. However, Spider-Man met his challenge and fought Kraven. Realizing that Spider-Man was stronger and faster than he had anticipated, Kraven retreated. However, days later, Kraven returned and nearly bested Spider-Man. However, Kraven still lost, due to his prey's spider-sense. Afterwards, Kraven kidnapped Liz Allen and held her hostage at the New York Zoo. Spider-Man rushed to the scene, where Kraven gave Spidey an ultimatum; fight him or risk Liz's life. Spider-Man managed to distract Kraven and get Liz to safety, and came back and defeated Kraven, turning him over to the police.

Member of the Avengers

When the founding Avengers, Iron Man, Thor, Wasp, Ant-Man, and Hulk, decided to take a temporary leave of absence, Captain America was left in charge. She then began recruiting more members into the Avengers to fill the gaps. The first hero she recruited was her close friend Spider-Man. The hero was initially semi-reluctant to join, and became even more hesitant when his former lover Scarlet Witch tried to seduce him, but Captain America managed to convince the hero to join and together, Captain America, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Hawkeye, new recruit Falcon, and Spider-Man remained as the Avengers, going on to battle such menaces like the Collector, Magneto, the Earthshaker, and the Asgardian Destroyer. However, when Doctor Octopus broke out of jail, he attacked Avengers Mansion, injuring Scarlet Witch and Hawkeye, but was eventually stopped by Cap, Falcon, Quicksilver, and Spidey. Afterwards, Spider-Man left the team and was replaced by his old ally the Buzz, but still remained on good terms with the team nonetheless.

The Shock of Electro

When greedy powerline technician Max Dillon was surged with electricity during a thunderstorm, he was transformed into a living battery. Taking on the name Electro, Max wreaked havoc on the city's economy, eventually breaking into J. Jonah Jameson's apartment and stealing priceless jewels. Believing that Spider-Man was really Electro, Jameson print out several slander campaigns against the wall crawler for "robbing" him. Spider-Man then set out to stop Electro and clear his name, but was defeated when he simply touched Electro. Realizing that he couldn't fight Electro without getting shocked again, Tim made a brand new, rubberized version of his costume and set out to battle Electro. Eventually getting him into a boiler room, Spider-Man managed to short circuit Electro, defeating him.

Secrets Revealed

In short time, the Green Goblin returned to wreak havoc on New York. Spider-Man battled and defeated the Goblin yet again. However, the Goblin took notice of how powerful of an enemy Spider-Man was and tried to tempt him into joining a coming war between superhumanity and normal humanity. However, Spider-Man declined and attacked the Goblin. In the ensuing battle, however, Spider-Man got an injury, but managed to defeat the Goblin once more nonetheless. Later, at dinner, in which Normie and Harry were invited, Harry saw Tim's wound that he had gotten while battling the Green Goblin as Spider-Man and left abruptly. Afterwards, the Goblin attacked and hospitalized Mary Jane, and then later menaced Liz Allen. Realizing that the Goblin knew who he was, Tim tried to run down a list of suspects that he could be after, until he realized that May was his next target. However, Spider-Man then discovered that the Goblin had already captured May and was holding her hostage at the Brooklyn Bridge. The Goblin then issued Spider-Man an ultimatum; save May or the children in the tram-car. Spider-Man managed to pull off both, but was attacked by the Goblin. But several civilians who had allied with Spider-Man pelted the Goblin in order to give Spider-Man enough time to lower May and the tram-car onto an approaching barge. However, the Goblin then grabbed Spider-Man and threw him into a nearby, abandoned mansion. The two then had a very one-sided fist fight, with the Goblin having the upper hand. But, when the Goblin promised to torture and kill May, an enraged Spider-Man overpowered and defeated him. However, the Goblin then revealed himself to be Harry Osborn, who the proceeded to explain his origins and motivations. However, the Goblin merely used this as a distraction and tried to kill Spider-Man with his glider, but the hero jumped out of the way, allowing the glider to kill Harry. Harry then begged Tim not to tell Normie about the reality of the Green Goblin. Spider-Man then delivered Harry's body to the Osborn estate, leading Normie to believe that Spider-Man had killed his father. At Harry's funeral, however, May admitted that she had a crush on Spider-Man, causing Tim's life to become more complicated. However, Tim decided to make the best of things and took a victory swing around New York, believing that no matter what danger comes his way, Spider-Man will be there to prevent it.

Reunited

The Alien Costume

When Tim took a walk through Central Park, a meteor crashed. Tim investigated and found a seemingly living organism that bonded with his skin and created a new black version of his costume, complete with unlimited webbing and enhanced strength. Spider-Man then investigated a criminal robbing a bank with vibro-energy. He eventually discoverd it to be the new super criminal Shocker. Spider-Man and Shocker then went at it, and Spider-Man almost killed Shocker in the battle until he realized and let Shocker go, who then fled in terror. Spider-Man then took on more super criminals as well, such as Daredevil's old enemy Bullseye, the super strong, armored Rhino, and did battle against Kraven the Hunter once more. He eventually began lashing out at those he held dear to him as well, even giving May a black eye during an argument. Realizing that the suit was changing his personality, Tim went to see his old friend Curt Connors. Connors deduced that Spider-Man's black costume was, in fact, a symbiote, an alien organism that functions very much similar to that of a parasite, with a few differences; The symbiote doesn't kill it's host. In time, the symbiote and it's host become one and the same, with both of them requiring each other to survive. Realizing that he needed to get the suit off, Spider-Man swung to a bell tower and tried to remove the suit, which proved to be a difficult task due to the fact that their bond was near to completion. However, Spider-Man found that the sonic vibrations in the bell weakened the symbiote, and he finally rid himself of the suit. Weakened and vulnerable, Tim escaped and returned to Forest Hills. However, Spider-Man wasn't the only person at the tower. Another individual was present when the symbiote fell through the cracks, and they both shared a burning hatred for Spider-Man...

You'll See Us Everywhere, Even in Your Nightmares

When Spider-Man swung from Harlem to Midtown in the middle of the night, he was besieged by the combined power of the Scorpion and the Rhino. The two villains overpowered and buried Spider-Man underneath some rubble, but were then attacked and defeated by an unknown force that tied them up in a web. When Spider-Man awakened, he questioned how they could be entangled in webbing. But from the shadows, a dark and mysterious figure watched Spider-Man as he swung away. Then, at The Daily Bugle, an old friend of Tim's, Eddie Brock, who had just recently lost his job there, told Tim to tell Spider-Man to meet him on the rooftop. On the rooftop, Eddie revealed to Spider-Man that he knows his secret identity, and changed into his "other half"; Venom, the result of the symbiote bonding with Brock. Spider-Man and Venom battle, but Venom told Spider-Man that he knows all of his weaknesses, including who everyone he knows. Venom then left and kidnapped Captain America and Scarlet Witch from Avengers Mansion, Daredevil from the streets, and Liz Allen from her Forest Hills home and brought them all to the same church where Spider-Man got rid of the symbiote a few weeks ago in order to set a trap. Spider-Man arrived and fell for the trap. Venom then issued Spider-Man an ultimatum; fight him to the death or rescue the hostages from the bell. Spider-Man managed to trick Venom into crawling underneath the surface of the top of the bell tower and rescued the hostages. The bells' vibrations then defeat Venom by separating Brock from the symbiote. The symbiote is then taken back to Avengers Mansion and Eddie Brock to the police.

The Mutation Disease

The Battle of the Insidious Six

When Spider-Man began to mysteriously spaz in and out of his powers at random, he sought help from Curt Connors. Connors then informed Spider-Man that his blood was still undergoing a mutagenic process, and that his powers would be gone for an indefinite amount of time, possibly forever. Meanwhile, a mysterious figure ordered the break-out of five of Spider-Man's deadliest foes, and thus, an assailant known as the Chameleon broke out Doctor Octopus, Electro, the Rhino, Mysterio, and the Scorpion from Ryker's Island and formed them into the ultimate anti-Spider-Man weapon; the Insidious Six. However, Tim realized this and went to stop them as Spider-Man, but was swiftly defeated due to their combined might and the loss of his powers. After being brought to their base, Spider-Man was unmasked, only to be met with the Six's disbelief and thinking that Tim had been sent by the real Spider-Man in order to handle them. Tim was then used as a beacon of sorts to lure his alter ego to a rooftop for a trap set by the Six to capture Spider-Man. However, Tim, having stolen one of Mysterio's holo-cubes, managed to fall off the rooftop and change into Spider-Man. With his powers partially returned, Spider-Man manages to fight off the Insidious Six long enough to get help. Spider-Man then received unexpected aid in the form of the Armored Avenger Iron Man, who helped Spider-Man in stopping half the team, with only Doctor Octopus, Rhino, and Scorpion escaping. Afterwards, Iron Man, who had previously disliked Spider-Man, began to warm up to the web-spinner and thanked him before parting. Afterwards, Spider-Man visited Curt Connors, who then revealed that the mutagenic change in Spider-Man's blood would transform him into an inhuman monster.

The Mutant Agenda

After getting the news of the possibility of transforming into an inhuman creature, Spider-Man traveled to New Jersey and arrived at the Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters, where he was besieged by the school's resident super team; the X-Men. After a brief scuffle, Spider-Man was finally approached by Charles Xavier, who revealed that he cannot cure mutants, but help train them in order to cope with who and what they are. Spider-Man then angrily stormed off, claiming that while he can save the world time and time again, when he needs help, he's on his own. Afterwards, X-Man Beast followed Spider-Man into the forest surrounding the Xavier institute. Beast then told Spider-Man of a possible cure for his mutation at the Brand Corporation, which had been researching mutants for months up until that point. Spider-Man then journeyed to the corporation to seek Herbert Landon's help. However, upon arriving, Spider-Man is met by the Hobgoblin, an assailant who utilized the Green Goblin's technology. Spider-Man and the Hobgoblin battled, but they are interrupted by Wolverine, who was looking for Spider-Man. Wolverine then reveals that Beast had recently disappeared after Spider-Man's arrival and the two fight. However, they are briefly interrupted by the Hobgoblin, but he is driven away. Wolverine then enlists Spider-Man in helping to find Beast. The two battle security guards and the like in order to get to Beast. They then learn that Herbert Landon, owner of the foundation, had his men kidnap Beast in order to test him on a formula that will eradicate all mutants. Spider-Man and Wolverine freed Beast and chased after Landon. However, there was an explosion and the three were forced to flee, leaving Landon to his fate. There, they met up with the rest of the X-Men. The X-Men then thanked Spider-Man for their aid in getting Beast back and the heroes departed on good terms.

River of Love

In New York, a new super menace emerged and began to stalk one of Tim's classmates; Mattie Franklin. Tim investigates as Spider-Man and does battle with Mattie's stalker, who reveals himself to be Hydro Man, a being who can control liquid molecules in his body and become water. After tangoing with Hydro Man, Spider-Man rescues Mattie and brings her to safety. Mattie then revealed that Hydro Man was, in fact, her old boyfriend Morris Bench, of whom she broke up with due to his overbearing nature towards her. Spider-Man then gave her a spider tracer in order to keep tabs on her. Later on, Hydro Man did return and abducted Mattie. Spider-Man followed and confronted Bench at an oil refinery off the coast of New York Harbor. However, during the midst of the battle, Mattie escapes and Hydro Man followed her to a sweatshop. Spider-Man followed them there and finally managed to defeat Hydro Man with a coagulated web fluid he head created specifically for the H2O super menace. Afterwards, Spider-Man returned Mattie to her mother's house before departing.

Time Out... of Death

As Spider-Man's condition grew worse, he turned to Dr. Connors for a cure. However, Connors proceeded to warn his friend that taking the serum at an early stage could result in the loss of his powers or even his own death. Spider-Man took the serum anyways, resulting in him growing four extra arms onto his sides. Afterwards, Tim, alienated from the rest of his family, ran away from home in order to hide from persecution. Meanwhile, a vigilante, Frank Castle, the Punisher, set his sights on Spider-Man when the wall-crawler was framed by an unidentified person for a murder he didn't commit. Spider-Man and the Punisher dueled across the city, until the two of them landed inside of an abandoned apartment building. There, Spider-Man's mutation began to take stage as he grew about 2 sizes larger and developed a more spider-like head, complete with acid-spit, along with developing organic webbing for his six arms.

Powers and Abilities

Powers

  • Spider-Sense: Spider-Man possesses an extrasensory "danger" or "spider" sense which warns him of potential immediate danger by the manifestation of a tingling sensation in the back of his skull, and links with his superhuman kinesthetics, enabling him to evade most any injuries, unless he cognitively overrides his automatic reflexes. The precise nature of this sense is unknown. It appears to be a simultaneous clairvoyant response to a wide variety of phenomena (everything from falling safes to speeding bullets to thrown punches), which has given several hundredths of a second warning, which is sufficient time for his reflexes to allow him to avoid injury. The sense also can create a general response on the order of several minutes: he cannot discern the nature of the threat by the sensation. He can, however, discern the severity of the danger by the strength of his response to it. Spider-Man's spider-sense is directional and can guide him to or away from hidden weapons and enemies. Sudden and extreme threats can cause his spider-sense to react with painful intensity. Spider-Man can also sense and dodge attacks directed randomly or by a computer. Using his spider-sense to time his enhanced reflexes, Spider-Man can casually dodge attacks up to and including automatic-weapons fire, provided there is sufficient distance. His spider-sense is sufficiently well-linked to his reflexes to the point that a threat can trigger them even when Spider-Man is asleep or stunned. His spider-sense has helped him preserve his secret identity since it alerts him to observers or cameras when changing into or out of his costume. The spider-sense does react to those who Tim does not consider to be a threat, such as May. Spider-Man can choose to ignore his spider-sense, and distraction or fatigue diminish its effectiveness. Spider-Man's fighting style incorporates the advantage that his "spider-sense" provides him. His body begins to produce more adrenaline after the sense is triggered, an extension of the 'fight or flight syndrome.'
  • Superhuman Strength: Spider-Man possesses superhuman strength enabling him to lift approximately 15 tons. Spider-Man's physical strength is sufficient to lift and throw objects as heavy as most standard automobiles with ease. He must also pull his punches and kicks unless fighting someone of similar or greater physical durability. Otherwise, his blows would prove fatal to a normal human being. Spider-Man's physical strength also extends into his legs, enabling him to be able to jump to a height of several stories in a single bound. Spider-Man has shown impressive feats of strength. Such as when he was able to hold a cable-car full of children with one arm and show no sign of stress. He was also able to send Flash Thompson flying many meters with a single punch. Also, Spidey was able to support the warehouse where Doctor Octopus was holding his secret experiment. Also, Spider-Man has managed to over-power multiple men with ease. And his strength temporary increased when he was connected to the Venom Symbiote.
  • Superhuman Speed: Spider-Man can run and move at speeds that are beyond the physical limits of the finest human athlete. He is ultimately capable of running at speeds in excess of 30 miles per hour.
  • Superhuman Stamina: Spider-Man's advanced musculature produces less fatigue toxins during physical activity than an ordinary human. This allows him to exert himself physically for much longer periods of time before fatigue begins to impair him. At his peak, Spider-Man can physically exert himself for several hours before the build up of fatigue toxins in his blood begins to impair him.
  • Superhuman Durability: Spider-Man's body is physically tougher and more resistant to some types of injury than the body of a normal human. His body is more resistant to impact forces than anything else. He can withstand great impacts, such as falling from a height of several stories or being struck by a incredibly strong opponent, that would severely injure or kill a normal human with little to no discomfort.
  • Superhuman Agility: Spider-Man's equilibrium, dexterity, and flexibility are all enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete. Spider-Man is extraordinarily limber and his tendons and connective tissues are twice as elastic as the average human being's, despite their enhanced strength. He has the combined agility and acrobatic prowess of the most accomplished circus aerialists and acrobats. He can also perform any complicated sequence of gymnastic stunts such as flips, rolls, and springs. He can easily match or top any Olympic record at gymnastics apparatus such as flying rings, climbing ropes, horizontal bars, trampolines.
  • Superhuman Reflexes: Spider-Man's reflexes are similarly enhanced and are currently about 30 times greater than those of an ordinary human. In combination with his spider-sense, the speed of his reflexes allows him to dodge almost any attack, or even gunfire, if he is far enough away.
  • Superhuman Equilibrium: Spider-Man possesses the ability to achieve a state of perfect equilibrium in any position imaginable. He seems able to adjust his position by instinct, which enables him to balance himself on virtually any object, no matter how small or narrow with little effort even with two fingers.
  • Wall-Crawling: After being bitten, Tim's skin grows a sharp, "barbed" like material and this allows him to cling to surfaces and crawl up them with the utmost of ease.
  • Regenerative Healing Factor: Spider-Man regenerates his injuries faster and more extensively than a normal human. After getting his powers, he soon found that his eyesight was repaired, discarding his glasses. Minor injuries heal in a matter of hours and serious injuries in a matter of days, although Spider-Man is not able to regenerate missing limbs or organs. Thanks to his regenerative power he is more resistant to the effects of alcohol and drugs. It is unknown if the power slows down aging process, although it is speculated that it is possible.

Abilities

  • Other than them being noticeably inferior, seemingly those of Timothy Parker of Earth-9022. Throughout the series, Tim goes from a science whiz in high school to a laboratory assistant of Dr. Connors and a brilliant Columbia University physics student who is at the top of his class as he becomes secure with his dual roles. His knowledge of science has impressed the likes of Harry Osborn, Otto Octavius, and Doctor Connors. Considered a genius by Normie and Gwen, he has shown himself to be knowledgeable in mechanics, quantum mechanics, photonics, nuclear fusion, acoustics, and nanotechnology.

Strength level

  • Tim is capable of lifting nearly 15 tons.

Weaknesses

  • Spider-Sense Disruption: Spider-Man's Spider Sense can lose its effectiveness if it detects something that is not registered as a threat like Venom Symbiote. When deprived of his spider-sense, Spider-Man becomes vulnerable to surveillance and attack, and web-slinging requires most of his concentration.
  • Bad Luck: Not exactly a flaw or a disadvantage in his crime-fighting, Timothy Parker's life is generally a complicated one. Tim has been forced in numerous ocassions to lie to people close to him, be late in his commitments, get away from people and so on for the sake of his secret identity. This inherent difficulty to get his superhero life a secrecy, matched with the number of superhuman events and beings in New York City and simply coincidence has in turn, lead Tim to aggravate people around himself, even ones close to himself, and to, more often than not, run into trouble and embarrassment. As Tim often remarks whenever he misses an opportunity to better his social life, improve his finances, or even get to work on time, (due to his super-heroics), "Typical Parker Luck."
