History
So long as there is life in my breast, I will never give up! For that is what it means to be a hero!
- — Thor
- — Thor
Thor Odinson was the God of Thunder who traveled to the realm of Midgard because of his fascination with humanity. He would later find himself allied with S.H.I.E.L.D. when the time came to battle Apocalypse. After S.H.I.E.L.D. fell and the Avengers were formed, Thor continued the fight alongside them.
He and Captain America later planned a full on assault on Apocalypse, backed by several other Avengers and the forces of Asgard, including Thor's own brother, Loki. But it was all for nought. They each died horrible deaths at the hands of Apocalypse.
