Plot[]
After Hela rematerializes in Niffleheim, she plans her revenge against Thor by reanimating all of his deceased allies and enemies to form her new army in order to invade Midgard and claim it as her own!
Trivia[]
- This is Hela's third film appearance in the MCU, and her third death, following Thor: Ragnarok and Asgardians of the Galaxy.
- Lady Sif appears for the first time since Thor: the Dark World and her appearances in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., confirming that she had died offscreen and is resurrected as part of Hela's army.
- The Avengers Captain America, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, Black Panther, and Doctor Strange all make cameo appearances in the third act of the film when Hela invades Midgard. The Hulk plays a supporting role in the film.
- The Grandmaster's daughter, Voyager, makes her MCU debut in this film portrayed by Saoirse Ronan.
- While Hela is the main catalyst for the plot, the final antagonist is Thor's Uncle Cul, played by Gary Oldman, who previously appeared in the Dark Knight series as Commissioner Gordon.
