The Infinity Gems are items of immense power in the Earth 315, that are each capable of manipulating one part of reality, and with all 6 gems the user can become like a god. Joss Whedon shortly after the film's release confirmed that the gem in the 2017 Avengers film is the power gem. Months later he confirmed that all 6 gems exists, and will come into play, and by the end of the first Phase (2017-2020) 3-6 of them will be revealed.
The Six Gems[]
Power Gem[]
The power gem is the first gem to be shown, and currently the only gem shown. It was shown in the 2017 Avengers movie, where HYDRA used it to power weapons. The power gem is currently inside an underwater SHIELD facility. The power gem so far is shown to be able to be used to power weapons.
Time Gem[]
The time gem is the second infinity gem to be shown, it was shown in the 2018 Captain America film, where the Red Skull used it. The time gem currently is shown to be able to bring in things from both the past, and future, and control them.
