The Death of Spider-Man is an animated Disney+ original movie. It is heavily inspired by the comic storyline of the same name in the Ultimate Marvel comics line.

Plot[]
As Peter Parker attempts to prove himself worthy of becoming an Avenger, his greatest enemies begin to scheme. As Norman Osborn stages a jailbreak, he recruits Doctor Octopus, Electro, Scorpion, Kraven, and the Sandman who all share one similar goal; to finally kill Spider-Man!

- Yuri Lowenthal reprises his role as Peter Parker from the PS4 exclusive video game Spider-Man. Interestingly, Lowenthal has previously voiced Iceman in Wolverine and the X-Men, but in this movie he is voiced by Josh Keaton. Keaton had previously portrayed Spider-Man in the series The Spectacular Spider-Man.
- Captain America and Iron Man are the only Avengers that feature prominently in this film, as Spider-Man is training with them. The other members of the team included Giant-Man, Wasp, Black Widow, Thor, Scarlet Witch, and Vision.
- Human Torch and Iceman are featured as living at the Parker household, much like in the Ultimate comics run. In this universe, apparently, the Fantastic Four had disbanded after Mister Fantastic faked his death, and the Xavier Institute had shut down. Gwen Stacy is also featured as their roommate, mentioning that she moved in after her father was killed by Carnage.
- Various members of the X-Men, including Shadowcat, Wolverine, and Rogue, make cameo appearances at Spider-Man's funeral in the end.
- Doctor Octopus and Spider-Man are both killed by the Green Goblin in this film, within the span of thirty minutes.
- Diane Lane, who voices Aunt May, previously portrayed Superman's mother in Man of Steel, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Justice League.
- Miles Morales appears in a minor role in the film. He is featured in the mid-credits scene being bitten by a radioactive spider.
