Early Life[]
Cassie was born in 1973 to Scott and Peggy Lang. The girl spent her entire childhood with her father and even lived with him when, as a superhero, he moved from one team to another. As a result, this led to the fact that the girl came into contact with Pym Particles and mutated under their direct influence, gaining the ability to change her size without costumes. Cassandra and Scott agreed that they would not tell anyone about this and the girl grew up keeping her abilities a secret. In 1996, when she was already 23 years old, her father died in a battle with Onslaught.
2000s[]
In 2002, Sharon Rogers assembled the Ultimates team. Looking for candidates among the children of the Avengers team members, Sharon arrives at Cassandra's. Cassandra, in response to the offer to wear a suit, simply shrinks in front of Sharon's eyes. She says that she will give Cassandra a much more functional costume and give her the opportunity to be a hero, like the girl's father. Cassandra agrees. After reaching the SHIELD base, she voluntarily becomes a test subject in an experiment to remove Pym Particles from her blood. This is done by Tom Foster, who creates a special growth hormone based on Cassandra's blood and, in contrast, a reducing hormone. Despite Tom's desire to become the new Giant-Man, Sharon subjects one of her agents, Eric O'Grady, to experiments. Spending time alone, Cassandra even feels sympathy for Eric, considering his attempts to seem cool funny. Along with Eric and the rest of the Ultimates, Cassandra participates in the battle with the rabid Hulk. She shoots a current discharge from the gloves directly into the Hulk's brain and he loses consciousness. All the glory, despite Eric's efforts, goes to Cassandra. This angers him and the next time they meet, he reacts to her aggressively. A fight ensues, in which the sneaky Eric forces Cassandra to shrink down to try to escape, after which he sets his ants on her. When Cassandra's body is found unconscious, she is taken to the hospital, where she remains for the next few months.
When she comes to, she finds out that Margaret Rogers found and beat Eric. Cassandra is pleased with this outcome of events and hopes to return to the team as soon as possible. However, when she leaves the room a few days later, the nurses attack her. While trying to hide, Cassandra shrinks and is eventually captured by the Skrulls. Being held at their military base, Cassandra is soon rescued by Elena Belova and as a result, the Ultimates defeat the Skrull fleet and kill its general. After that, Cassandra gradually gets closer to Nathaniel Richards, but due to the fact that he is not yet eighteen, their relationship is still only friendly.
By 2005, when Nathaniel is already 19 years old, Cassandra agrees to go on a date with him, despite their age difference, which is joked about by people passing by them and other guests at the cafe where Cassandra and Nathaniel decided to relax. Nathaniel is upset by this, but Cassandra does not attach importance to this and decides to arrange a date for Nathaniel, where no one will notice them. To do this, she gives Nathaniel a reducing hormone and shrinks herself. Being tiny, they avoid other people's eyes and have fun returning home in the morning. When the Liberators invaded America, Cassandra was able to remain unnoticed, because she was underestimated. Cassandra frees her boyfriend and Margaret from the imprisonment of the Liberators, and then, together with all the heroes, participates in the battle with the Liberators.
A few years later, during the Ultimatum, Cassandra helped the heroes, after which she married Nathaniel Richards and became pregnant by him. Their son, named Anthony, was born in 2010.
2010-2020s[]
Since then, Cassandra has mostly looked after her and Nathaniel's son.
