Early Years[]
Steven Grant Rogers (born July 1918, deceased Spring 2024) was born the only child and son of poor Irish-Christian immigrants Joseph and Sarah Rogers, the latter of which was killed in action during the final days of World War I, shortly before Steve was born. Thus he never knew the man. As such he was raised solely by his mother, a nurse, in Hell's Kitchen. Who always reminded him that despite the frail body he was born with he had a large heart, which would take him far if he used it, and his head, properly. A statement Rogers agreed with, and would work to follow for the rest of his life.
Despite living in Hell's Kitchen, Steve speny his early years attending school in the Lower East Side, his mother wanting him to get the best education he could, despite their living status. It was there that Steve was first instilled with patriotic values, courtesy of his civics teacher a Ms. Edna Crosley, who taught him it was their responsibility to protect the United States, since it gave it citizens more rights than any other country in the world. Moved by this Steve started developing senes of duty, honor, and humility, which would greatly serve him later in life. However none of that helped him against the bullies he faced, that obviously picked on him due to his frail body. Despite this Rogers never backed down from a fight. He also wasn't afraid to lend a helping hand. That's why one day when he refused to pay a group of bullies who demanded a fee from crossing Tenth Avenue in Hell's Kitchen and they attacked him in retaliation, he stayed behind and helped the boy he helped him, by hitting one of the bullies with a circular trash can lid. Leading to them all running off. Afterwards he got to know the boy he saved, and eventually they became best friends and brothers in all but blood, the mysterious boys name James Buchanan Barnes, but most people just called him Bucky.
As the boys got older their friendship never faded, and only got stronger. Giving each of them someone they always knew they could count on. Which Steve especially needed in 1936 when his mother died afer being terminally ill for months with tuberculosis. After this occurred Rogers and Barnes became roommates, and continued attending their art classes, which they were hoping to make careers out of. That is until they got word of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in December, 1941. After they did Steve's patriotic spirit started burning bright, making him immediately want to enlist in the US Army to go to Europe and fight against the Nazis. But knowing what he did about his friend Bucky decided to train Steve first, to which he agreed. He then spent two weeks learning how to box before heading to New York's premiere recruiting center. Only to be rejected due to his body's condition. Though later upon seeing Bucky enlist only stoked Steve's will to fight even more. Thus he started trying once again to fight for his country.
The First Super Soldier[]
Despite his efforts over the next two years until 1943 Rogers was rejected in regards to military service over and over again. Until one day when trying to enlist for military service yet again he met Dr. Abraham Erskine of the Strategic Science Reserve who impressed by Steve kind heart and righteous morals decided to enlist him as a candidate for Project Rebirth.
Once a candidate of Project Rebirth after a few weeks of training, despite having the worst score amongst all the candidates, Abraham selected Steve to become the first candidate to undergo the Rebirth procedure, for he believed he was a man capable of handling the power he would be granted. So with that Steve was given Erskine super-soldier Serum and became the first ever super soldier in the entire world. He also ended up the only one as right after Steve finished his procedure Eskrine was killed by an undercover Hydra named Heinz Kruger, who had been dispatched by his superior within his organization to claim serum and kill Eskrine. Succeeding at latter but failing at the former due to Steve. Even so the point became moot as with Saltine dead his allies couldn't recreate the serum, leaving Steve as the only super soldier.
Despite this he was ready to serve. However the Strategic Science Reserve deemed him too important. So he was denied active duty and instead became simply a propaganda tool under senator Brandt. Where he was sent on tour, under the name Captain America.
Becoming A True Soldier[]

Steve continued simply touring, until when he arrived in Italy and heard his best friend Barnes and his entire unit had been killed. But not believing this, and with the army deciding any sort rescue mission simply too dangerous, Steve decided to take matters into his own hands. So he defied orders and with the help of SSR agent Margaret "Peggy" Carter and SSR scientist consultant, and industrialist Howard Stark, he got behind enemy lines and then raided the Hydra base. Where he managed to free all the American, and allied soldiers, held captive there. Including Barnes, who was still alive. As well as a prisoner Hydra was experimenting on, a mutant named James "Logan" Howlett, and a fearsome U.S. army commanding officer named Nicholas Fury.
It was also here Steve first encountered the fearsome leader of Hydra named Johann Schmidt. Just before he, and those that stayed behind with him to destroy the base, escaped before it blew up. After this Steve and the soldiers returned to the base, where they began singing his praises. Seeing this the director of the SSR Chester Phillips saw Steve could truly be more. So with that he gave him the green light to enter combat missions.
Once this happened after gaining a specialized combat suit, a shield composed of Vibranium, and gathering his own team of soldiers, which included Bucky and most the soldiers he rescued from the Hydra base in Italy, that would eventually become known as the Howling Commandos, Steve set about to truly be a soldier and began fighting against both the Axis powers and Hydra in earnest. Where after many countless victories he not only became a true hero in the eyes of many, but also a living symbol.
Noble Sacrifice[]
Near the end of the war Steve and his Howling Commandos managed a major victory against Hydra where they succeeded in capturing one of their top scientists and leaders Arnim Zola, who eventually gave up the location of Hydra Headquarters, a castle in the Swiss Alps. Once this information was obtained Rogers and his allies launched their assault, hoping to put an end to Hydra once and for all.
During the battle Schmidt attempted to escape on the Hydra built bomber plane named Valkryrie, but Rogers and Barnes gave chase and managed to board the plane, damaging its engines. Seeing this Schmidt unveiled one more surprise and used and used an escape pod to flee the plane. Right after which a massive hole blew in its side, where Barnes was almost sucked out off, until Steve managed to grab hold of him. But knowing Steve couldn't hold on, and knowing the world needed Captain America more than they needed Bucky Barnes, he made the choice and let go of Steve hand, leading Rogers to believe he had lost his best friend, until a century later.
Though Steve had no time to mourn Bucky death as he realized the Valkyrie was still a dangerous threat. So with that he decided to crash the plane into the Arctic Ocean, sacrificing his own life to save many more. Praying his actions weren't in vain.
Man Out Of Time[]
Steve eventually learned his actions in regards to the Valkyrie weren't in vain, as one day he found himself awake, alive, and well, only it was in the future. As he soon learned it was the year 2008 from the organization who rescued him, known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Who informed the world first super-soldier of all that had happened since World War II ended. Including how he survived over 60 years in the ice.
Faced with these many revelations Steve was overwhelmed, angry, sad, lost, etc. Since he was now a man out of time, left to wonder if the world still truly needed a man like him. Though he didn't fully lose his way thanks to new acquaintances, like S.H.IE.L.D. agent, and the great-niece of his former love Peggy, Sharon Carter, and old ones like Nick Fury Sr. and James Howlett, who truly helped Steve come to terms with living in the modern era. The same with the trip he took around the world, to see with his own eyes how things had truly same. During this he realized while some things did change others stayed exactly the same. Giving Steve some sort of comfort. But still without a purpose. Though in 2010 that would all change.
Avengers[]
Avengers Assemble for the first time during the Battle of New York.
When the Asgardian Prince known as Loki arrived on Earth and stole the Tessaract the then director of S.H.I.E.L.D., and the son of his old friend, Nick Fury Sr., Nicholas Fury Jr., asked Steve to assist in the objects recovery, and apprehending Loki, to which he agreed. Thus he was given a new suit, and dispatched on his first new mission in a long time. Where he was soon joined by the son of another old friend Howard Stark, Tony Stark, the scientists and married couple Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, and the gamma irradiated scientist Dr. Bruce Banner. All of whom soon found themselves meeting Loki brother Thor. Who then along with S.H.I. E.L.D. agents Natasha Romanoff and Clinton "Hawkeye" Barton, saved the entire world by defeating Loki and his army known as the Chitauri.
After this occurred Steve came to realize there was still a place in the world for a man like him. So with that he not only became an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. but also a founding member of the superhero team known as the Avengers. For he still had a lot of fight in him.

Artificially Enhanced Physiology: The Super-Soldier Serum (SSS) metabolized and permanently enhanced all of Rogers' bodily functions to the peak of human efficiency, and is the most perfect human in existence. Dr. Abraham Erskine has stated Rogers' enhanced condition is "second to none," and described its potential as being "the next step in human evolution," while still remaining completely human, but often called the "Perfect Man."

Notes[]
- Steve Roger is described by his fellow Avengers, and many others, as the "Perfect Gentleman".
- Steve has always been a fan of motorcycles, and even started a superhuman motorcycle enthusiast club.
- Like his Earth-1610 counterpart Steve became President of the United States, though only temporarily in the wake of Thanks decimation in 2018. He then gave up the office and its powers, while refusing to run for it or any other political office. Since he felt it would restrict his movements too much.
- Steve suffered mild depression and PTSD upon being recovered from the Arctic and brought into the modern era. As such he was given mental health counseling for his condition.
- When Steve first began having romantic feelings for Sharon Rogers he didn't act on them since he was worried he was only seeing her as a simple stand-in for Peggy, given their familial ties, but he eventually realized that was not the case.
- Steve and Sharon, realizing the world was only going to get crazier married in 2014, in a quick ceremony after the events of the Hydra Uprising in secret.
- During the Battle of Wakanda in 2018 Steve original Vibranium Shield was destroyed by Thanos, thus after the Snap the Wakandian created a new one for him.
- Steve Rogers named his first child Sarah in honor of his own mother.
- While writing his will, Steve included several names of individuals he would have wanted to take over the mantle of Captain America in the event of his death. Such as Samuel Wilson, Bucky Barnes, and John Walker, but Sam was at the top of his list.
- Steve is one of the only individuals on Earth worthy enough to wield Thor hammer, Mjolnir.
