Steve Eguchi (Earth-616)

Caerrian DNA was placed inside a C.A.B. The C.A.B. was ejected into space and eventually landed on Earth. After joining a hero team, he was later destroyed, but left behind the vial of DNA. The team's scientist managed to successfully clone the DNA, and thus the Caerrian Sentinel was born.

History

The Caerrian sentinel is a Caerrian and member of the Offbeats and later the Offbeats next generation.

Cloning

The Caerrian Sentinel's DNA comes from a Caerrian warlord 16 years after the destruction of Caerrios. In case the Caerrians were ever wiped out and needed to be cloned in order to survive; the Warlord in question, Krabitar Megafinn, donated some of his DNA and had it placed inside a C.A.B..

"Birth"

3984 years later after the death of the C.A.B. that had carried the vial of DNA was destroyed and left behind some its weapons, a CD containing the history of Caerrios and the vial of Caerrian DNA was left behind so that his teammates (the Offbeats) would have another teammate to work alongside with after his death. The team's scientist Tech managed to successfully clone the Caerrian that was in the vial and due to the fact that none of the Offbeats actually knew any Caerrian names, they named him Steve. Because the team didn't accelerate his growth in any way Steve grew up naturally, about as naturally as an alien growing up on Earth can grow up. Tech acted as his adoptive father.

Due to the fact that he had to grow up normally, Steve had to wait until he was in his mid-teens until he could join the Offbeats in battle. Before that, he acted as the team's mascot. He contributed to the team using his enhanced sense of sight and hearing and was also immensely strong being able to lift up to 50 tons. Additionally, he has a genius level intellect that rivals his "father's" due to being home schooled by him, superhuman durability, superhuman stamina and superhuman speed, being capable of reaching 35 Km/PH. To show his Caerrian heritage, Tech gave him C.A.B.'s old weaponry and built him a suit of armor modeled after the ones the Caerrians were wearing when they attacked Earth. He was also generally well liked by the team.

Member of the next generation

However the original team was getting old and soon Dragonfly and Bonzai Bill retired, leaving Sparky as the new leader. Soon the children of the Offbeats joined and fought alongside the remaining original group and the Caerrian Sentinel. The Caerrian sentinel even found himself fighting alongside his adoptive brother the New Rhino.
