Rowan Erikson, aka Spider-Man is a superhero and alternate universe counter part of Earth 616 Spider-Man.

History

Early Life

Rowan was born inside the compound of the Ragnarok Cult, a survivalist cult led by a man called Leif Erikson, a man claiming to be descended from Norse–Gaels who believed he was chosen to lead the remaining humans after the Norse Armageddon Ragnarok. To this end he gathered like minded followers and concubines to usher an army of warriors.

From the time young Rowan was able to walk and comprehend, Leif forcibly trained him in combat and wilderness survival, punishing him if he ever showed weakness or hesitation to kill, often by leaving him out in the frozen woods to fend for himself or by subjecting him to severe beatings.

When Rowan turned ten, the compound was raised by the FBI, allowing him to escape from the abuse. For two long years, Rowan wandered aimlessly, surviving by hunting what game he could or by going into towns to steal food. Upon reaching the city of New York, he was caught stealing from a hot dog vendor and immediately placed into an orphanage where he would stay for a month before he was adopted by Stark Industries scientists Peter Parker and his wife Gwen Stacy, who were unable to conceive anymore children after their only daughter Mayday Parker.
