Trivia[]
- The Sinister Six in this film features 5/6 of the original roster from the comics. Scorpion appears in place of Sandman, who appeared as one of Mysterio's fake Elementals in Spider-Man: Far From Home.
- This film reveals Mysterio faked his death in Spider-Man: Far From Home and has been in hiding, working from the shadows for years.
- Electro makes his MCU debut in this film played by Breaking Bad alum Aaron Paul. He appears in the opening scene doing battle with Spider-Man, inevitably getting defeated, and becomes the first recruit into the Sinister Six. He previously appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 played by Jamie Foxx.
- The film's title, "Superiority Complex", and Doctor Octopus's plan are both references to the comic arc where he did, in fact, transfer his mind into Peter Parker's body and became the Superior Spider-Man.
- Norman Osborn appears in a mid-credits scene observing the news reports of the Spider-Men vs the Sinister Six.
