Rita Wayword, also known as Spiral, was a young mutant with six arms. Unlike most mutants, she was accepted by her parents, who saw her unique gift as a "blessing". Her father was the instructor of a martial arts class, and trained Rita in karate. She got a black belt, and lived a happy life with her family, until an anti-mutant mob burned down their house one night. Rita's parents were killed, and she escaped from the mob. She lived out on the streets, until Magneto found her and took her in for the Brotherhood of Supremacy. She was later killed by Rocket Raccoon during the events of AvX Unleashed.
Powers & Abilities[]
- Six Arms - Rita has four extra arms, and because of this she can wield six weapons at once.
- Martial Arts - Rita is a martial arts expert, and even after her father died, she continued training and became a karate master.
