Loki tried to manipulate Miss Marvel into killing Star, so he could get her Reality Stone. However Star was revived by the Reality Stone.
She was found by Minn-Erva who told her that she gave her the Reality Stone because she chose her to protect it from Thanos. Star decided to use her second chance and be more like what she thought Carol was: a hero.
Loki learned that Star was alive and sent Miss Marvel after her. Star was again defeated. Minn-Erva told Star that she lost because her own fear created a reality where she couldn't beat Miss Marvel and that in order to defeat her, she needed to face her fear.
Star faced Miss Marvel again and went into a powered up state that caused her hair to turn white. She defeated Miss Marvel and tried to use the Reality Stone to break Loki's spell on her but Loki blasted her from behind with his staff, attempting to extract the Reality Stone from her himself. Miss Marvel, no longer under Loki's control, saved Starr. Loki summoned Frost Giants to attack them both. Star and Miss Marvel were saved by Thor who defeated the Frost Giants and Loki.
