When Ricardo was out, he saw something fall out of the sky. He went to go see what it was. It was deep in the ground, he went down and touched it. It stuck to his hand and went up his arm and all over his body. It was the Carnage symbiote. It told him that after the Sentry killed Kasady he needed a new host in order to survive. The symbiote still had Kasady's thoughts and characteristics. It wanted to go on a killing spree but Ricardo wouldn't let it. He tried to convince the symbiote that Kasady was dead and he was his new host. The symbiote wouldn't listen but Ricardo took control of it. He went out to find [[Toxin]]. When he found him the two fought until Ricardo showed his face and told Toxin that he wasn't Kasady. Ricardo tried to convince Toxin to help him take control Carnage. He did but it took weeks to alter Carnage's personality. Ricardo then tried to master his newfound powers. |

History
He is the son of Tyson Rios also known as Crimson Shadow. He was born 10 years prior to the return of Warlord. During his childhood he was kidnapped along with his mother. He accidently killed the kidnapper because he had a gun pointed at Naomi's head. Ricardo was taught how to use his powers by his dad. Ricardo has the same powers as his dad but he can still die. That is why Tyson doesn't want Ricardo to become an adventurer. Ricardo will only use his powers if he is in danger. One day Warlord showed up at Ricardo's school. Ricardo fought him off until he cast a spell that eliminated all of Ricardo's powers. Right after this, Crimson Shadow came with help and they defeated Warlord but he grabbed Crimson Shadow and took him to the Negative Zone. Captain America took Ricardo home.

Powers and Abilities
Powers
Ricardo possesses various superhuman attributes as a result of bonding with the Carnage symbiote. Most of his powers are similar to those possessed by Spider-Man and Venom, though a few are more developed
- Superhuman Strength: Ricardo is superhumanly strong. He can lift (press) about 50 tons as Carnage
- Superhuman Speed: Ricardo can run and move at speeds superior to those of the finest human athlete
- Superhuman Stamina: Ricardo’s musculature generates considerably less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of an ordinary human. He can physically exert himself at peak capacity for about 24 hours before hte build up of fatigue toxins in his bloodstream begins to impair him
- Superhuman Agility: Ricardo’s agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of even the finest human athlete
- Superhuman Reflexes: Ricardo's reflexes are similarly enhanced and are superior to those of the finest human athlete
- Superhuman Durability: The tissue the symbiote is composed of renders Ricardo's body much harder and more resistant to physical injury than the body of an ordinary human. Ricardo can withstand high caliber bullets, great impact forces, powerful energy blasts, and falls from great heights without sustaining physical injury
- Regenerative Healing Factor: Despite this, however, it is possible to injure him. Ricardo is able to rapidly regenerate damaged bodily tissues much faster and more extensively than an ordinary human. It isn't known, however, if he can fully regenerate severed limbs or missing internal organs. Ricardo is also immune to the effects of all Earthly diseases and infections as long as he remains bonded with the symbiote
- Wall Crawling: Much like Spider-Man, Ricardo has the ability to cling to virtually any surface. He can rapidly crawl, walk, or run across even slickened surfaces
- Webbing: Ricardo can project a powerful, organic web-like substance similar to the webbing Spider-Man has. He typically uses this webbing to swing from building to building or as a means of immobilizing someone. The webbing is exceptionally strong, much more so for even the finest human athlete to break
- Shapeshifting: The symbiote possesses limited shape-shifting abilities in the sense that it can immediately change itself to appear as any type of clothing or garment that Ricardo wishes. Ricardo can also morph sections of his body, such as his hands or feet, into bladed weaponry such as spikes, blades, or axes. Ricardo can also detach these bladed weaponry if he chooses to. For example, he often forms spikes that he expels from his body. The weaponry, however, disintegrates after being separated from his body after a period of about 30 seconds. Ricardo can also cause the symbiote to generate tentacle-like appendages from various parts of his body, which he often uses either in combat situations or to restrain someone

- The Carnage symbiote, like all others of its kind, is extremely vulnerable to heat and sonic based attacks. They can cause the symbiote physical pain and discomfort, where as "more powerful" attacks might be completely ineffective
