History
Early Life
Reva Connors was born and raised in Harlem, New York City, New York. She and her brother Sam were friends with Carl Lucas prior to his transformation into a powerful, steel-skinned superhero "Luke Cage". As they got older she began dating Lucas.
Willis & Lucas
Lucas, however, joined a gang called the Rivals along with Willis Stryker. They engaged in many gang fights with The Diablos, a rival gang. He also committed petty crimes and worked for a crime lord named Sonny Caputo. Carl changed his life and found an honest job while Willis became a skilled gangster but they remained good friends. Reva loved them both but cared for Luke more. Willis, devastated by jealousy, framed him by hiding drugs where Carl lived. Luke was sent to Seagate Prison.
Finding Luke Again
Some time after Luke got out of Seagate, he got in contact with Reva. She inquired why he hadn't reached out earlier, and he claimed it wasn't easy to find her. While they were dining at Genghis Connie's, Zip and his gang walked in, forcing Jin and Connie Lin to give them money for Mariah Dillard's Complex. Luke stepped in, displaying his powers which Reva was apparently oblivious to. As they left the restaurant, she inquired about his powers and suggested they went for a coffee, despite neither liked the beverage. They went together to Luke's Apartment, where they had sex. Unbeknownst to them, Willis Stryker, now calling himself Diamondback, watched them leave together from afar.

Under undivulged circumstances, Connors obtained a yellow USB stick that contained footage from the childhood of Zebediah Kilgrave and the experiments that his mother and father had performed on him. Fearful of what could happen if the wrong person got their hands on it, she put it in a locked box and buried it. Unfortunately, Kilgrave learned of this, and used his mind-controlling powers to enthrall Reva and have her lead him to its location. On September 9, 2017, Kilgrave sent the enthralled Jessica Jones to recover the box as he and Connors watched. The three then left the construction site and walked to the public sidewalk.
Connors turned and looked at Kilgrave as he told Jessica Jones to take care of her. Jones punched Connors in the chest with such force that the sound of breaking ribs could be heard as she flew through the air; when Connors landed, the back of her head smashed against the street. Jones walked over to the corpse and felt the blood as it poured from the back of her head. Moments later, a bus flipped trying to avoid hitting Kilgrave and landed on the body of Connors, causing the driver, Charles Wallace to believe he killed Connors and also covering up Kilgrave and Jones' involvement.
