Supplying Criminals
Phineas Mason lived a strict regimented life, with no friends and his family having all passed away, he was a very lonely old man. He lived a normal life running a fix-it shop in New York, until a rampaging Hulk destroyed it in a battle. After that, he began to see superheroes as fools who fail to use their gifts responsibly. Wanting revenge on the superhero community but knowing that he was physically incapable of fighting them himself, he began calling himself the Tinkerer, moving his work into hiding and supplying weaponry to the criminals of New York. Some of his clients included Rhino and Shocker who's weapons he created to kill Spider-Man. However, the pair were defeated and Rhino accidently revealed the Tinkerer's location, allowing the hero to shut down and arrest Mason.
