Early Years[]

Peter Benjamin Parker (born August 1985) was the only son of former S.H.I.E.L.D. scientists turned Oscorp Researchers Richard and Mary Parker, who tried and failed to flee after discovering Norman Osborn and Oscorp itself were trying to sell their work in cross-species genetics to a third party, which was in fact HYDRA. At the age of seven after his parents left, not only to protect their research from the wrong hands but also Peter himself, he ended up in the care of his paternal uncle and namesake Benjamin Parker and his wife, Maybelle "May" Parker. Who taught him valuable lessons and gave him just as much love and affection as his parents did.

Even after Peter began displaying a highly advanced level of intelligence, which often got him bullied by people along the like of Flash "Eugene" Thompson, and ostracized by his peers. Save for a few. His childhood friend and next door neighbor Mary Jane Watson, her slightly eccentric and fashionable friend Elizabeth Allen, his fellow scientist enthusiast and aspiring geneticist Gwen Stacy, and the finally the son of Norman Osborn himself, who became Peter best friend, Harold "Harry" Osborn. With these four people, and his aunt and uncle by his side, Peter came to live a relatively good life. Having no idea how one day it would all change.

Spider-Man Is Born[]

One day, shortly after his fifteenth birthday, while on a highschool field trip to Oscorp Peter ends up getting bitten by a geneticically modified spider, whose bite in turn altered Peter's entire physiology, giving him abilities related to spiders. Such as their proportional speed and strength, and an early warning detection system which he named Spider-sense.

With these powers Peter starts getting back at those that have bullied and tormented them for years. He also uses them to make some money by becoming masked wrestler, worrying his family and friends. But Peter cares not. That is until one night he returns home and finds out his uncle was shot dead by an intruder. So in anger Peter tracks him down to exact his revenge. Only to be shocked at the identity of the man. Which is a robber he had the chance to stop before but hidden. This revelation, along with remembering his uncle Ben's motto: With Great power comes Great Responsibility, causes Peter to stop using his new powers for personal gain and instead use them to help others. Thus he develops a spider-themed costume and takes to the streets to fight crime, under the name Spiderman.

Neighborhood Hero[]

After creating his alter ego Peter in the beginning focused simply on protecting his home neighborhood of Queens and stopping simply crimes such as carjackings and robberies. His actions gaining him recognition as a hero by the residents of New York City. Though many didn't know what to make of him due to the comments of J. Jonah Jameson who called Peter a masked menace, in part due to a personal tragedy he suffered while investigating a certain individual. One whose dealings were inadvertently interrupted by Peter. As such this person, whom Peter would eventually learn was a powerful crime boss known as the Kingpin, began working to create obstacles to protect his interests from Peter heroic actions. Leading the young wall-crawler to come face to face with several individuals that would become long-time enemies such as Shocker, Rhino, and Sandman. To say nothing of the other foes he encountered that would also become members of his rogues gallery like Vulture, Doctor Octopus, and Electro.

Though despite all that Peter went through nothing had prepared him for when Norman Osborn became his greatest foe, taking on the masked persona of the Green Goblin.

Spiderman first clash with the Green Goblin

After inadvertently discovering Peter true identity Norman went on an utter rampage against the young hero, his actions including invading Peter house and terrifying his aunt May. Which upon hearing about filled Peter with a rage and fear he had never known before. Leading him to track down the Goblin, and for the two of them to clash on a bridge, where the Goblin pushed Peter to his limits. Until with the very help of the people he had been protecting managed to turn the tide of battle, forcing the duo fight to an abandoned building, where Peter learned the Green Goblin was in fact the father of his best friend, Norman Osborn. Who continued to attack Peter, even after he asked him to stand down. Eventually leading the man to impale himself with his own glider. Shortly after which Peter took Norman corpse home, or so he thought at the time, where he was met with Harry who instantly began blaming him for his father death. No matter how much Peter tried to explain the truth. Leading the hero to eventually leave his best friend without saying another word. Feeling slight guilt at his inability to save Norman. But he soon came to terms with the events of that night, even if it led his best friend to start hating his alter ego, and decided to focus and prepare for the next stage of his life. Which was college.

College Age Web-Slinger[]

Upon entering college, which was Empire State University, along with many of his Midtown high school classmates, Peter began immediately facing new challenges. Both in his civilian and hero lives. In the former to pay for college he took a job at the Daily Bugle, becoming the news outlets web page designer, and freelance photographer, who captured photos of Spiderman. While in the latter he began facing new challenges such as the likes of Scorpion and Kraven The Hunter.

But in dealing with and facing these new challenges Peter also found new allies. Such as his fellow New York hero, and enemy of the Kingpin of Crime, Daredevil, along with other streets level local heroes of the Big Apple, whom Peter eventually found himself as a member of their own superhero team known as the Defenders. Though when it came to new allies for Peter most didn't compare to the feline-themed female thief known as the Black Cat. Who he found himself verbally sparing with when they encountered each other. Namely as on-again-off-again allies. Leading Peter to begin developing a resemblance to feelings of romance for the Black Cat. Despite the fact he was in a committed relationship at the time with Gwendolyn Stacy, whom he had been since his last years in high school.

Though Peter relationship with Gwen drastically changed in early 2005, when their shared mentor, former Oscorp Industries employee, and a friend of Peter parents, Curtis Connors ended up turning himself in the monstrous reptilian beast that would come to be known as the Lizard, in an attempt to advance recreate the work he did with Peter parents to regrow his missing arm. But instead he turned himself into someone who wanted to turn the whole of New York into lizard people exactly like him. And in the ensuing battle to stop Connors, which Peter successfully managed to do, Gwen father, NYPD captain, George Stacy, took a fatal blow and died. But before he did he revealed to Peter he knew he was Spiderman and asked him to end his relationship with Gwen to protect her. This request, combined with Peter own guilt at letting George die, led to turmoil in his relationship with Gwen. Leading her to break up with him, after accepting a fellowship to study in Oxford University in London, England.

The loss of his relationship with Gwen led Peter into a sort of slump, until he found comfort in the arms of the Black Cat. Becoming lovers with her, despite his recent break-up. Until she eventually left without any explanation, but not before Peter discovered her civilian identity as his older college classmate Felicia Hardy. Which shocked him greatly. But it also left him in another emotional slump. Thus Peter put relationships on hold for a while and focused on his other duties, namely the Bugle, and Spiderman, until he found himself infatuated with Mary Jane, who just recently broke up with Harry, leading to a tense strain on the relationship of the three after Peter and Mary Jane officially began dating. Even more so after Peter ex Gwen Stacy returned from England in 2007. But along with her came the return of none other than Norman Osborn.
