Spider-Man is a superhero in Victorian era New York. He fought the city's crimes problems as well as Jack the Ripper.
History
In 1889, Peter Parker was bitten by a spider that was electrified during Nikola Tesla's demonstration, giving him spider related powers. Peter then invented web shooters. Peter encountered a highwayman but decided he should stay outta it.
The highwayman later killed Peter's uncle, Ben Parker. Peter then became Spider-Man. Peter met Gwen Stacy, daughter of police captain George Stacy, met had returned vacation in Europe. Spider-Man ended up being connected to murders being committed by Jack the Ripper.
Peter was himself framed for the murders and held in Ravencroft to await execution. He escaped and discovered the Ripper was Gwen Stacy. Spider-Man learned that Gwen was adopted by the Stacys, her biological parents were one of her victims in Whitechapel and an unknown man.
Spider-Man would later fight the Green Goblin.
