- Four long mechanical spider-like legs sticking out of back
History
This Spider-Man is the Earth-6741 counterpart of the one from Earth-616.
Early history
While not much is known about the Spider-Man of Earth-6741 it can be assumed that it is not very different from that of his Earth-616 counterpart.
Kidnapped
One day while he was patrolling the city he stumbled across The Gorilla Gang(Earth-6741) robbing a bank. He attempted to stop them in his usual comically overconfident attitude but unfortunately underestimated his chances against the team and was beaten in a matter of minutes. Before he could be killed however Dr. Nicodemus(Earth-6741) stopped them and ordered them to bring him back to his secret lab so that he could experiment on him as he saw fit and fit him with mechanical enhancements. When he was brought to the lab he had a chip placed inside his brain to ensure that he would be totally loyal to the doctor. As well as the chip Dr. Nicodemus also gave him a mechanical arms with built in web shooters and claws, four long mechanical legs in the back so that Spider-Man could scale walls and still carry stolen goods finally he had his old costume replaced with a golden suit of armor which looked similar except that it lacked the web pattern on it, had two pauldrons with the spider symbol on the chest put on them and leg guards.
Rescue
However a few days later when he was out stealing from a jewlery store, Spider-Man ran into the Avengers. He fought them briefly but was no match for them and was forced to retreat. However a plate on one of his arms fell off and Iron-Man was able to analyze it and discovered that it was made by Dr. Nicodemus. The Avengers and Alpha flight then proceeded to team up to fight Dr. Nicodemus and his henchmen, the Sinister science squad(Earth-6741). Both teams managed to break in, kill the Gorilla gang and incapacitate Spider-Man. The Avengers and Alpha flight forced Nicodemus to remove the chip in Spider-Man's brain but were told that if the legs on Spider-Man's back were removed he would be paralyzed. He later attended the funeral of the Offbeats(Earth-6741), who had been killed by the Gorilla gang. At the funeral Spider-Man agreed to team up with the Offbeats last surviving member, Demona, to take on the Offbeats remaining enemies. He had Tony Stark and Hank Pym install a storage space in his back to allow his mechanical legs to fold up and go inside.
