Peter Parker became the vigilante known as Spider-Man after being bitten by a genetically engineered spider. For some time, he was wanted by the police, but eventually gained notoriety after defeating several supervillains and teaming up with the Avengers.
He would later go on to fight with the Avengers during the battle against Thanos. Peter was able to survive the battle, and was left mostly unscathed due to Thanos not having a personal vendetta against him. However, he still felt the drive to fight, so he and his wife, Felicia, who had taken on the mantle of Scorpion, went on to join the Resistance.
