The Nexus are a planetary mega-structure ring created from the Citadel. Used during the Time War, it was used against the Dalek race, effectively wiping them out from existence. However, when the Operator was arrested, and was able to get away from the CPD, he used the Citadel to create 12 Nexus rings, which is the total amount to destroy an reality. He used them against the Time Lords, and the reality itself, destroying everything of anything. These rings were then used in the Reality Wars.
