History
The New Warriors are a team of young heroes still trying to find their footing as heroes and getting their personal life settled.
Initially, the team came about when Spider-Man (who at the time had only been Spider-Man for less than a year), and Nova took down a Sentinel robot that was searching for mutants to kill. Spider-Man and Nova thought it would be a good idea to form a team so they can both grow and learn as crime fighters.
A year later, Spider-Man would leave the group due to personal reasons and is still close to the team. Peter recommended Miles Morales join the group since Miles had recently got his powers during his freshman year of high school and Peter felt that young Miles could both learn and relate with heroes around his age.
The New Warriors usually jump into action no matter the threat if the top heroes weren't available.
