History

Origin

Ultron Revolution

Before the years of Ultron Revolution, the Avengers seemed to have the same history with their Earth-61615 counterpart, until the A.I. Ultron started an all-out war against humanity and those who dares to oppose him and his ideologies, lasting for a full decade, which led to billions of casualties, including most of the members of the Avengers. Thankfully, he was finally stopped inside his Sanctuary by the combined efforts and plan of every hero and villain all over the world who still remained surviving, creating the Ultron Resistance. Sadly, the final day of Ultron Revolution costed so much casualties, taking the lives of several heroic individuals, most notably were the Thing, the Hulk, Black Panther, Captain America, and even Ultron's own father and creator, Hank Pym, whom Ultron had brutally killed out of rage and revenge, and countless more. Ultron ultimately paid his own final price for the abusive things that he had done to this reality, and was finally defeated by his co-creator and second father, Iron Man who used his last resort against Ultron, who brutally beats down and damages his physical form to a pulp, before deleting and deactivating his seemingly, overpowered consciousness, one last time, marking a true end for the Ultron Revolution. In the aftermath of Ultron Revolution, the surviving Avengers have disbanded as they went their separate ways trying to deal and recover with the ten-year trauma that they've experienced.

Frank Castle's Death and Funeral

After the facility exploded, the Punisher's petrified body was left in its ruins, where it was later located by mysterious travelers who have been hiding and living in the areas of the park during the days when the Empire's New World Order had ruled the world for the past few years. The travelers took Frank's lifeless body and luckily, a few of them were secretly members of the Resistance and made sure Frank's body would be safely delivered into their main headquarters. After seeing Frank's lifeless body, the team, especially Kathryn, felt extremely heartbroken after losing one of their oldest friend and teammate, who sacrificed his life so they can finally finish off the Empire, once and for all.

During the next day, Castle was then buried at the Heroes' Memorial Graveyard, where every hero or redeemed villain who became heroes and sacrificed themselves during Ultron Revolution and the fall the Edward Stark's Empire. There, his passing was grieved and mourned by thousands of sympathizers, aside the Resistance. In honor of his memory, his recent wife Kathryn wrote a speech for his husband, stating that no matter what people would remember him as, she will always remember Frank as a hero, and as the very man she will always love. Due to Frank Castle's sacrifice, the Resistance owed his legacy a grateful gratitude and decided to fully fulfill his wishes by finishing the mission, where they successfully took down Edward Stark and his Empire, once and for all. Later on after the days of the Empire's fall, Frank's wife Kathryn, who was still grieving upon losing his husband, decided to take up his mantle in honor of his memory.

Secret Wars

However, as the peace and liberty that was restored upon this reality continues for a long while, unbeknownst to all of them, it wouldn't last. Following the beginning phenomena of the multiversal event known as Secret Wars, all the heroes knew that they would be in great peril. During the start of the event known as the incursion points, the Earth of this reality had itself about to collided with another Earth, from another reality. Sadly, both inhabitants from both Earths had only two choices: to watch in horror, as both of their worlds collide or to force themselves into battling out the inhabitants of the other Earth and even try to destroy it, in order to save theirs. However, as the battle goes on for the sake of defending their reality, they were too late. The incursions already commenced, and both planets collided, killing most of inhabitants, including the New Avengers' journey.
