History
Mutant Growth Hormone (often abbreviated as MGH) is a naturally occurring biochemical produced within Homo superior and other genetically enhanced individuals. MGH can be extracted and isolated.
It's unknown when MGH became a regular drug on the market though it was certainly before Ultron. Nowadays MGH is getting popular again, as people want their own superpowers, or they want to boost their own. For normal Humans it will temporarily give them abilities. For Mutants it's described as a steroid and will boost their abilities up to 100%. For other Meta and even Depowered Mutants it can give the same boost as well. However it is noticed that those who use MGH can become ultra aggressive, also the possibility of overdose is always there.
Banshee
A variant of MGH known as Banshee was sold across South America for almost an entire year. The potent drug peddled by the Hood and associates was able to kill after just one dose. Though it didn't stop people from attempting to gain superpowers from taking this drug. Eventually with the help of James Rogers and Teresa Lopez on the case they managed to take the frug off the market and end the Hood's dastardly schemes.[1]
