New York still needs Spider-Man! It needs Miles Morales!
History
Spider-Man seemingly had a similar history as the rewritten history of his Earth-1610 counterpart.
Miles first sprung into action during the Skrull War. When two Skrull agents attacked Hyperwear, Miles used clothes from the shop to create a makeshift suit. He was able to narrowly defeat them, only for one of his friends to die in the conflict. Miles then decided it was his responsibility to be a hero.
Seeing Peter Parker being hunted by killer robots, Spider-Man quickly came to his rescue. He asked Miles if he was serious about being Spider-Man, Miles affirmed that he was. Peter proceeded to give Miles his blessing to share the mantle.

Spider-Man and
Spider-Man
When Miles' father, Jeff, was suspected of being Spider-Man, Jeff was attacked by a Carnage-possessed Conrad Marcus. Spider-Man was able rescue his father, but Carnage escaped. Jeff was taken to Brooklyn General Hospital, where Miles' mother, Rio, worked.
Conrad broke into the hospital, hoping to draw out Spider-Man. During the fight, the police arrived and killed Conrad, but not only did the symbiote escape, but Rio was shot and almost died. Traumatized, Miles ran home and destroyed his suit.
A year passed and Miles remained retired. Even as Goblin King took over New York City, Miles guiltily ignored the city's pleas for help. He was eventually convinced to return to action by Spider-Boy, with the two arachnids protecting civilians from Osborn's minions. He was later recruited by Peter into Spider-Man Incorporated and partnered with Bailey.
Following the Hydra take over of the United States of America, Spider-Man was labeled a high value target. It had previously been prophesized that he would kill the faux Captain America during the conflict. When Black Widow defected from the rebels, Miles joined her and she took on a mentor role for the young hero.

Under the tutelage of Black Widow
When they confronted Rogers, Widow was almost killed by him, but was saved by the double-agent Superior Octopus. Spider-Man and the other resistance fighters present were captured until the USA was freed from Hydra's tyranny. After Hydra was dethroned, Natasha joined Spider-Man Incorporated in order to continue training Spider-Man.
