When we were making this, I had hung up my webs. I thought that with all of you around, I wasn't needed. I neglected my responsibility. I've since learned that one spider can make a difference.

History
Spider-Man seemingly had a similar history as his Earth-928 counterpart.
Temporal disruptions were causing Tyler Stone to be erased from existence. Spider-Man confronted him about the time distortions and Stone revealed that the source was from the past. Spider-Man agreed to travel to the past and save him as Tyler was actually his father. He discovered that the source of the issue was corporate sabotage done by Ty Stone, particularly his tampering of the Break Room of Tomorrow. This resulted in a temporal explosion, but Miguel was able to save Ty and preserve the timeline. Miguel; however, was trapped in the past by Tyler.
He took the pseudonym Michael "Mike" O'Mara to stay near Ty and guide him to a better future. Miguel grew weary and felt his efforts were in vain. After failing to stop a bank robber from killing his hostages, Miguel decided to retire from heroics. Peter Parker found him after the robbery and recruited him as Parker Industries' head of research and development. He didn't want to join Spider-Man Incorporated, but agreed to help Parker find other spiders. Miguel also got into a relationship with his super, Tempest Monroe.
Eight months later, Miguel and Tempest were having dinner at Bijoux Restaurant & Tapas Bar, when the establishment was destroyed in a terrorist attack. Believing Tempest had been killed, he donned the Spider-Armor MK V and begrudgingly joined Spider-Man, Inc. Throughout his search, he discovered that the terrorists had uncovered his identity of Michael O'Mara and kidnapped Tempest. She was taken to Blackthorne Prison and experimented on.
With the help of Spider-Man, Inc. he stormed the prison. He rescued Tempest and the two embraced and a brainwashed Tempest almost killed Miguel, but luckily, Peter's spider-sense allowed him to anticipate this and save Miguel. The rest of the group restrained her and Madame Web used her powers to remove the suggestive hypnosis.
While there was still a lot of work left to find the terrorists, Miguel was momentarily content. The experiments done to Tempest allowed her to transform into an insect form. She joined the Spider-Friends under the codename Honey Bee. Miguel proposed and the two quickly wed before they went off the find her kidnapper: a time-displaced Tyler Stone.
