Mary Jane Watson was the wife of Spider-Man, and is Spider-Girl's mother. When Captain America found Spider-Girl through Friday's database and met in person, May took her to meet Mary Jane as she knew, her mother would need to see The Avenger before anything could happen. Mary Jane was very nice, but firm as well knowing just how hard the superhero life can be. She admitted that she was relieved that the Avengers found May, because even though there wasn't much to fight, it worried her that her daughter had so little training. [1]
