Base Of Operations[]
This lists where each notable hero or villain currently resides in this universe. Some characters may not have been born in these places but the locations are listed are their current base of operations/residence.
Earth[]
United States[]
New York[]
There are many Web Warriors who reside in New York, spread across its cities. In the present: Peter Parker, the first Spider-Man resides in Queens and has lived there all his life. The second Web Warrior, after Peter, was his ex-girlfriend Gwen Stacy. After being critically injured by the Lizard, she was undergoing severe blood loss, which is why Peter had to reluctantly transfuse his blood into her to try and keep her alive, resulting into her being infected with his radioactive genes and developing his spider-powers. She took up the mantle of Spider-Woman and eventually moved to London for her higher studies where she would also juggle her life as a superhero. The third Web Warrior, and Peter's apprentice, Miles Morales, also shares his mantle of Spider-Man & resides in Brooklyn, with his mother, Rio Morales. He received his powers from another evolved arachnid that escaped Oscorp.
After a few years, Gwen settled back in Queens after testing positive for cancer, a side-effect of the radiation that entered her bloodstream unnaturally and gave her powers. She was murdered by the Green Goblin. However, the title of Spider-Woman did not die with her. Later, in the future, Peter Parker marries Mary Jane Watson. She is given a reverse engineered Iron Spider suit equipped with mechanical webshooters that allows her to emulate the powers of her husband, succeeding the deceased Gwen Stacy as the new Spider-Woman & becoming a part of a crimefighting duo with her spouse. They also have two children down the line in the even further future; Anna-May Park & Benjy Watson-Park, who inherit their father's powers and become the next generation of Web Warriors, the heroes; Spider-Girl & Spider-Boy, respectively. This family of Web Warriors all live in Queens.
Other than the Web Warriors, there are multiple heroes who live in New York. One of the most infamous crime-fighting vigilantes to come out of New York is revered as the 'demon' of Hell's Kitchen, the blind lawyer Matt Murdock aka Daredevil. Elektra is an assassin dispatched by the Ten Rings to assassinate Daredevil, instead she swapped sides, and joined forces with him to fight crime. Jessica Jones was also a resident of Hell's Kitchen where the mutant woman has set up her private investigation service.
Another notable hero is Luke Cage, formerly known as Power Man, who lives in Harlem. Jessica Jones later married Cage and also moved into Harlem. Luke's buddy and partner in crime-fighting is Daniel Koji aka the Iron Fist, the fated legendary warrior who has trained in the mystical city of K'un L'un after crashlanding there. After returning to New York, he also operates his family's Koji Enterprises business in the Financial District of lower Manhattan. The Punisher, aka Frank Castle, is a merciless vigilante who kills all criminals he comes across. He lives nomadically around New York, doing his bidding.
California[]
Many industrialists, inventors and notable billionaires live in Silicon Valley, California, the heart of the tech industry. The most notable example is Tony Stark aka Iron Man. Accompanying him is his fiance, Pepper Potts, who, once in a blue moon, suits up as the armored hero Iron Woman. Tony's estranged daughter from a fling 20 years ago, Morgan Stark, also moves to Silicon Valley after coming into contact with him and growing close as family, where she succeeds her father as the Iron Maiden. Tony also has a child from his and Pepper's relationship, the young Arya Stark. Since she is a kid, she is not permitted to suit up as an Iron Woman like her half-sister, but in the future, becomes the other Iron Maiden, joining her sister and her crew of armored heroes.
After Tony's death, Riri Williams, prodigal teenage inventor from Boston, who created her own knockoff but fully functioning Iron Man suit was invited by Pepper Potts to work in Stark Industries as an engineer and developer in Stark's program for the youth, which she gladly accepted. Harley Keener, a formerly impoverished kid from Tennessee who Stark formed an unlikely friendship with in his adventures, and whose education the billionaire sponsored for the rest of his life, also joined the same program as Riri and moved to California. Together, Riri and Harley also gear up as the heroes, Iron Savant & Ironclad (respectively) in a trio with Morgan Stark, the Iron Maiden. Harley's Ironclad suit is a reverse engineered, repurposed Hulkbuster armor. He and Riri are also romantically involved.
Also living in Cali is Hope Van Dyne and her extended family. Having succeeded her mother as the Wasp, and her father Hank, as the CEO of Pym Technologies, Hope also lives close to Silicon Valley to work close to her business headquarters. Living with her in the San Francisco Bay Area, is her fiance Scott Lang, former thief turned hero, who is the current Ant-Man, who moved from San Diego to be with her.
Scott's daughter from his previous marriage, Cassie Lang, also a hero herself, Stature, lives in San Diego, and obtained a size-changing suit from her father to fight crime. Oddly and ironically enough, her enemy turned boyfriend, the youthful and mischevious Eric O'Grady, like Cassie's father, was a thief/con artist too, who stole a prototype of the villain Darren Cross' size-changing suit, before redeeming himself and becoming a quantum hero, taking the mantle of Yellowjacket.
New Mexico[]
Bruce Banner, infamous for being the raging green behemoth, Hulk, hails from Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is also in Desert Base, New Mexico, where his transformation into the monstrous beast occurred by an experiment gone wrong. After his affliction, he became a fugitive and started living nomadically around the world due to his unstable mind and dangerous nature, living in Kolkata for awhile. After becoming a part of the Avengers and becoming sound of mind to control his transformation into the Hulk, he returned full time to the States and eventually settled back to New Mexico where he continued his scientific research.
In the other side of New Mexico, in Santa Fe, Banner's cousin Jennifer Walters, an attorney for hire, decided to represent her cousin Bruce in a case where the government indicted Banner of being responsible for a recent outbreak of similarly gamma-induced monsters. While solving the mystery of these mysterious hulk-like beings and trying to disprove the charges against her cousin, Jen discovered it was the doing of the deranged scientist, the Leader aka Samuel Sterns, who is using the same gamma radiation that created the Hulk to create a cult of hulklike beings. When she covertly snuck in their base to gather proof, a gamma bomb was released in the building after her intrusion was detected, causing her to transform into a raging green behemoth like her cousin. She escaped and with the help of Bruce and their extensive anger management sessions, she was able to combine her human and hulk forms into one, having control over both her intelligence and awesome strength; she was living the best of both worlds and thus became She-Hulk, eventually helping her cousin take down the Leader and his cult, formally acquitting Banner of his charges.
England[]
Oxford[]
Charles Xavier, hailed as the most noble mutant alive, also known as Professor X, is the founder of Xavier's School for the Gifted, a school exclusively for mutants, and is also the founder of the X-Men. His discoveries about mutants and their genetics is also amongst the most important scientific publications in the world, which is why mutant genes are referred to as 'X-Genes', to recognize his research. He created the first team of X-Men and the first branch of his school in Oxford, England, before it branched off to the rest of the world. Although he travels back and forth between his North American and European branches for X-Men duties, the headmaster still prefers to live in his native country. Hank McCoy aka Beast, a fellow Brit, is also a member of the original lineup of X-Men and one of the founding members of Xavier's school. A renowned geneticist and advocate for relationships between humans and mutants, Beast has been a loyal friend of Xavier's since the day they met, even through their ups and downs.
Two other valued members of the X-Men and also notable figures in Xavier's European school branch is Colossus and Magik, known by their names Piotr & Anya Rasputin, respectively. The siblings migrated from Russia to England to study in Xavier's school. After graduating, they became full fledged members of the X-Men. The German mutant, Nightcrawler, whose real name is Kurt Wagner, was also integrated into Xavier's school in Oxford after years of being hunted down by anti-mutant authorities, abused in underground cartels, radicalization from extremist mutant groups. Charming French-Moroccan swindler and mutant enforcer, Gambit (Remy LeBeau) later joined Xavier's school in England after operating as an anti-hero for years.
London[]
The Sorcerer Supreme of Earth, Dr. Stephen Strange, a former British neurosurgeon turned magic wielder, resides in the Sanctum Sanctorum in London, which is connected to all the other magical sanctorums around the world through magical teleportation hubs. Living with him is proficient, noble and loyal sorcerer, Wong who is his guide and partner in his duties of defending Earth from dark forces of magic.
Canada[]
Alberta[]
Alberta is home to the largest branch of Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters, a mutant-only educational institution/boarding school. It is the only branch in North America so mutant youngsters from the United States and other locations in the continent all hope to get into the institution, either to learn to hone their unique powers, or to evade the abuse and harassment from non-mutant populaces or abusive home backgrounds. Due to being in the backdrops of an open area and mountains, the school is located in a place that provides safety, seclusion, protection and privacy. Most mutants who come to study here aren't even actually from Canada, as they come from all parts of North America.
But there is a mutant to have actually originated from Alberta; it's none other than Logan Howlett aka Wolverine. This school did not even exist when he was young but when he returned to Canada after decades of travelling internationally amidst warfare, heartbreak and epic battles, he settled in the isolated woods in Alberta, near to his birthplace. The school was long established since his return to his home country at the time, and he crossed paths with the X-Men, who also served as the board of directors/teachers for the institution at the time, who after many months of convincing and many reluctant battles against the Brotherhood of Mutants led by Magneto, were able to sway him, and convince him to join the X-Men, and in the school as their gym teacher.
Anne Marie, a mutant from Texas ran away from home after activating her dangerous mutant powers and eventually joined Xavier's school in Alberta before becoming a full-fledged member of the X-Men. Jean Grey, a mutant hailing from Chicago, Illinois was also inducted into Xavier's school in Alberta at a very early age after accidentally killing her parents during the first time she unleashed her powers, growing up to be a highly competent and capable member of the X-Men, although within her, lied a highly unstable and world-ending power. Scott Summers aka Cyclops is also an American from Alaska who joined the school at the same time as Jean. He is also the strategic leader of the X-Men in North America. Bobby Deol, the Iceman, is an Indian immigrant who settled here to attend the school too.
History[]
Creation Of The Universe[]
There is a supreme God, The One Above All, who has lived in absolute nothingness and darkness, whose existence itself will perhaps remain an enigma forever. Nobody is intelligent enough to comprehend why They even exist, or what existed before Them. For reasons that will probably never be known, perhaps due to boredom, They decided to one day, amidst that nothingness and darkness; create. Thus, came into existence; the universe, through a phenomenon called the Big Bang, where from the infinite plane of nothingness, an infinitely hot and dense singularity formed and inflated and stretched until everything as we know it, like the universe, the stars, planets, suns, moons, the genesis of mortal lifeforms, and other components was formed over the course of eons.
That singularity obviously formed and expanded into what is known as the universe but that singularity additionally also split into six different smaller singularities embodying different aspects of the newly formed universe. These six singularities, then formed into ingots that crystalized into gems, embodying the functions of Space, Mind, Reality, Power, Time, and Soul. These gems would be known as the Infinity Stones. Anyone who could wield those gems and harness its powers would have the power to do literally anything they could think of as they could bend all the factors that make up the universe to their will. These Infinity Stones scattered across the deepest corners of the universe, some, even ending up in places beyond the universe. What are those places that I'm talking about?

The World Of The Living[]
The One Above All created four components in this large metaphysical sandbox simulator: The World Of The Living, also known as the universe itself, which is at the center of it all and is described in the above paragraph and is comprised of the living. It is essentially the will/cosmic embodiment of The One Above All's desire to create. There is another additional pocket universe in the World of the Living, known as the Quantum Realm, which is extremely microscopic and undetectable in nature, and contains millions of beings and smaller dimensions/pocket realities. The Quantum Realm is extremely unstable and has wormholes that leads to other components of the universe which are as follows:
The Aboveworld[]
When the mortals pass, they go to a realm lying above the universe, known as the Aboveworld. This is where the souls of the living would pass on to after their deaths, and where the dimensions related to the concepts of Hell and Heaven exist. Most notoriously, the Demon King, Mephisto, often heralded as Satan in many religions, reigns over the many dimensions of Hell. Based on the religious beliefs of mortals, they will pass on to a Hell/Heaven dimension that is akin to what is described in their religion's belief/text. Some examples include: Those who believed in the Sun God Ra and the Ancient Egyptian worship of pharoahs, will pass on to Duat, the Egyptian underworld. The Wakandans pass on to the Ancestral Plane as they believe in the Panther God Bastet. The Asgardians who die in battle, pass on to Valhalla. This was a system made by The One Above All as They wanted people who passed onto the afterlife, be judged after death, according to the system of religion they framed their lives around. The One Above All is presumed to lie on top of the Aboveworld, which is basically at the top of literally Everything, unreachable and undetectable to everyone else, where They apparently observe every component of Their creation in it's full glory.
Underworld[]
There is another realm right underneath the World of the Living, known as the Underworld; it is a realm devoid of life and comprised of destructive, dark energies, essentially the leftovers of the nothingness that The One Above All used to reside in before creating the universe. This world is not meant for the living to enter, and any living being who enters this realm will be driven to madness or start to devolve into nothingness like the rest of this realm. It is also alternatively known as Limbo or the Void. The final fourth component in this sandbox created by The One Above All is the dimension that surrounds the three other components, circling around it, known as the Elseworld.
The Elseworld & Origin Of The Gods[]
The Elseworld comprises of countless dimensions, where science, physics, magic works differently than the known living universe. The Elseworld consists of countless magic users, deities and extradimensional beings. Planes such as Asgard, Olympia, Svartalfheim, the Dark Dimension, the Mirror Dimensions, amongst million others also exists here. The deities (gods) that are worshipped in many religions observable in the mortal world such as that seen in Greek Mythology, Asgard mythology, Hindu mythology, Wakandan mythology and countless other religions all live in their own dimensions here. The One Above All originally created manifestations of Their different characteristics into literal physical entities, who were the original deities, direct divine creations of The One Above All Themselves.
These deities were to judge and govern the World of the Living instead of The One Above All simply judging over all, who didn't want to create a homogenous system of judgment with no autonomy, and wanted to see how everything would end up if They were to hand over free reign to the deities who each embody Their different characteristics, and what the outcome would be, possibly due to curiosity. These gods settled in the Elseworld where they had their own dimensions and would often visit the World of the Living and grant planets their aid/help or their judgment, and thus tales of the visits of these many gods would be turned into the lore of many religions across different planets, including Earth. These original deities that the One Above All created are called the Primordial Gods. These Primordial Gods would have descendants going down the line, living in their respective dimensions in the Elseworld in the present day.
One notable descendant of these deities are the Asgardians, who although are not pure blooded deities anymore due to breeding with the mortals, and more so demi-gods. Other descendants of the Primordial Gods who The One Above All didn't create originally Themselves but rather were descendants of the Primordial Gods are entities like Bastet the Wakandan Panther Goddess, Chaac the Mayan God of Water, Raa The Sun God, Odin The Asgardian All-Father, God Of Thunder Thor, Zeus The Greek God Of Lightning, God Of Might Hercules, Ares The Olympian God Of War, Artemis, Dionysus, Poseidon, Hela, Khonshu, Vishnu, Rama, Kali, etc, who are all notable figures of different religions.
These deities were also the first to discover the usage of chi which is a form of spiritual energy that flows through every living being. Those that can harness this chi and hone it, can manipulate it to augment chi and strengthen their own body, detect chi of other lifeforms, hide their own chi from other lifeforms, or gather all their chi, convert this spiritual chi energy into bio electricity and generate powerful chi blasts and projectiles. Those who are masterful at chi control can also absorb the chi of other lifeforms. Deities have, for the longest time, extracted chi from mortal beings by making mortals worship them. Through mortals devoting their lives to these gods through the establishment of religions, the faith and prayers of these mortals had towards their own deities was converted to chi and transferred to these gods who could keep strengthening, stopping their aging and revitalizing themselves through the chi they keep getting from mortals.
That is why these deities established systems of religions in the mortal world so people would keep worshipping them and keep supplying them with consistent chi to increase their own lifespan or make themselves youthful/strong. As a reward for being given their chi, the deities would also help the mortals in times of their great needs or crisis, or bless their lands with mystical properties or riches. These deities all have a dimension in the Elseworld where they host meetings/councils where they discuss how much power each of these deities have in the Elseworld, concerns of monopoly, godly practices, the faith or following they have accrued from in the mortal world/World of the Living and how to sustain it, in a dimension known as Omniworld.
Battle Of The Gods[]
There was a divine war that took place eons ago where a bunch of primordial, rogue, evil Elseworld deities called the Ancient Brigade Of Gods tried to invade the World of the Living and take over it, the other good-hearted Gods rallied against them and put a stop to their evil plans and declared a rule that prevented any Elseworld God from visiting the World of the Living to prevent misuse of godly privileges/monopoly of power, meaning they wouldn't be allowed to go outside of the Elseworld or wherever their place of origin is (including the Aboveworld), ever again because the deities were trying to take over planets of the mortals and abusing their divine powers for immoral actions. Borr, the father of Odin, and during his time, one of the strongest deities, cast a magic spell, tentatively named Borr's Decree, that cost his life but created a powerful magical barrier that prevented any God from entering the World of the Living from their original dimension. Attempting to do so would subject them to immense physical pain and forcefully redirect them back to their native world, As a result, since deities weren't allowed to visit the mortal lands they were worshipped in, people stopped believing in their existence and the chi they used to receive from their prayers and devotion to these deities ceased over time, making many deities who mortals no longer believe in, weaker and aging quickly like normal human beings in present day.
The Bifrost Bridge[]
There is only one way now the descendants of the deities of the Elseworld can visit the World of the Living, which is through either using the Space Stone and it's teleportation abilities, or the use of the magical Bifrost Bridge whose powerful magic can transport the user to anywhere except for the Aboveworld. The Bifrost Bridge technology and it's powerful magic was created by Borr's father, Búri. Borr exempt the Bifrost Bridge and it's magic from his Borr's Decree spell, so Asgardians are the only Elseworld race that can directly travel to the World of the Living without any problems incurred by the Borr's Decree Spell. Obviously, Buri exempt it from his spell since he was biased towards his own people.
Since the Asgardians were the only one in possession of the Bifrost Bridge and it's powerful magic technology, they were the only Elseworld race that could travel to the world of the living even after the ban, even in present day, and therefore, kept visiting it through all the centuries. However, during Odin's tenure, he wanted Asgardians to be fair and not exploit their privilege, and kept their visits to the universe as minimal as possible. The Asgardians being the only one in possession of the Bifrost Bridge also reasonably raised issues with other Gods who deemed it unfair that only Asgardians have the only magic tech that can bypass the Borr's Decree spell and therefore could keep harnessing chi from mortal believers/worshippers. Any Elseworld God who wants to legally travel to the World of the Living has to use the Bifrost Bridge, which was only available in Asgard, which was most notably protected by Heimdall.
Other evil entities, descendant of the Ancient Brigade of Gods, like Dormammu try illicit ways using dark magic to try and break into the World of the Living. Hela, the Asgardian Goddess of War, and the granddaughter of Borr/the daughter of Odin, turned to the dark side and tried to invade the World of the Living using the Bifrost Bridge but Odin sealed her off for eons to prevent her tyranny, mirroring his own father's actions of protecting the World of the Living from another tyrannical god.
Deities[]
These are some notable deities from across the Elseworld dimensions or the Aboveworld. Most of them are descendants of the Primordial Gods, although there are a few Primordial Gods listed here, in whose case, I have explicitly mentioned they belong to that specific category of divine beings.
Impact Of The Elseworld Natives On The Mortal World[]
Gods, Mortals & Rewards Of Piety[]
Since time immemorial and ancient times, deities and other natives of the Elseworld visited the World of the Living and the planets of the mortals. For the example of Earth, Bastet the Panther Goddess, visited the ancient land which would later be known as Wakanda, whose natives would come to revere her as their Goddess, as a reward for their worship of her, she blessed the heart-shaped herb, a plant native to their land, with mystical properties, that would give anyone who consumed the herb, a portion of her incredible superhuman strength and prowess. Similarly, Chaac, the deity who the Mayans worshipped, blessed the herbs native to the Mayan islands, that would turn it's consumer into an entity capable of living and breathing underwater like Chaac himself. Many deities visited many planets and introduced religions before the ban on them from entering the World of the Living was implemented.
Sorcery[]
Additionally, many entities from the Elseworld who were pioneers of magic and the supernatural visited mortal realms where they introduced magic and sorcery to many planets. For Earth, magic and sorcery would become a hidden art and sorcerers would be living in secret, protecting Earth from supernatural threats/other mortals/entities who have learnt magic and would wield it for malicious intents. Some notable examples of magicians in Earth are The Immemorial One, an ancient wizard hailing from an unknown region of ancient Asia, who was the Sorcerer Supreme, a title given to the most skilled and knowledgeable sorcerer of Earth and the one in charge of defending their world from other magical threats, who passed his title down to The Ancient One, a sorcerer from ancient Europe. Other notable sorcerers were Merlin, the great wizard of ancient Ireland, who was never interested in the Sorcerer Supreme title, as well as the evil sorceress, Agatha Harkness, who would hail from Salem, where a lot of sorcerers settled in.
Chi & Martial Arts[]
Moreover, the usage and mastery of chi was also taught in mortal lands, along with sorcery, a practice originating from the Elseworld deities. In Earth, martial arts based around the usage of chi was created. Many villages and cities in Asia, particularly ancient Chinese lands, were made where sorcery and the martials art revolving around chi flourished. To hide these sacred, mystical arts from being exploited by wrongdoers, the sorcerers of these villages/cities sealed themselves off from the natural world in a pocket dimension within Earth, which could only be accessed by portals or sorcery. The two finest examples where the mastery of martial arts based on chi flourished includes K'un L'un and Ta Lo.
K'un L'un is particularly regarded as the capital city/birthplace of Earth-based chi martial arts and is where many mystical creatures, dragons who could wield chi, masters of the mystic and martial arts resides, and where the champion of all chi-using martial artists are decided and given the title of the Iron Fist, who would use chi to protect the world from other chi-using threats. The Iron Fist is basically the Sorcerer Supreme equivalent to chi users, instead of magic. The Iron Fist is decided by whoever is able to defeat the mystical dragon, a deity, who lives in the heart of K'un L'un. That mystical dragon will then bless the Iron Fist with his own divine chi powers, after which the Iron Fist will get a dragon symbol on their chest as a blessing of the dragon god.
Whereas K'un L'un would prioritize martial arts of chi through pure hand to hand combat whilst denouncing the usage of any sort of weapons, Ta Lo would teach a form of martial arts using chi and embedding it in different types of weapons. An ancient deity, specializing in chi, left his special weapon, the Ten Rings, a set of ten hung gar iron rings, that could infuse chi within itself smoothly and be used to devastating, creative and deadly martial arts effects. Similarly, denizens of Ta Lo would also practice martial arts in unison with different types of weapons practice, such as embedding chi within arrows, nunchucks, katanas or other types of ancient weapons.
Celestials[]

Celestials trekking a planet.
Almost 11 billion years ago, the Celestials, the first ever mortal race to exist in the universe had been born. They had accumulated limitless, god-like powers and unparalleled intelligence and wisdom, over the course of a billion years of evolving, scientific progress and adaptation and were ahead of any other lifeforms during their prime time. They were also the first race to wield knowledge of the existence of the Infinity Stones and sought to wield all of them to further establish their reign as the most supreme beings in the universe. The Celestials had collected the Power Stone and Reality Stone during their prime tenure. They soon learnt that one of the Infinity Stones they were looking for was in the depths of the realm beneath the World of the Living, lying in the Underworld. With their temptation for power and curiosity to seek out the unknown being limitless, the Celestials built a mothership that would allow them to bypass the limits of their universe and let them cross into the Underworld. So they did; but it was to be their greatest mistake.
The Corruption Of Galan[]

Galan is consumed by the dark forces of the Underworld & develops an insatiable hunger to feed on all life.
The Celestials tracked the Space Stone inside the very source of the Underworld, filled with it's most destructive and darkest forces. They intended to keep collecting the Infinity Stones including this to become essentially, unparalleled gods of the universe. A noble celestial named Galan, working in their expedition crew, was to do the drop with his crew into the source of the Underworld and collect the stone.
A few Celestials including Galan bravely ejected from their mothership to go and collect the stone. What they didn't know is that the Underworld wasn't meant for the living to enter. It was a realm meant for absolute nothingness and all the energies comprised in that realm would do anything to drive out any form of life. The corrupting and negative forces of the Underworld eventually consumed those Celestial's minds with the desire to plunge themselves into nothingness and liberate themselves from life. All of them, swayed by the symbiotic, parasitic effect of the corruptive nature of the Underworld's energies (called the Darkforce), committed suicide and became one with the darkness, except for Galan, whose indomitable will to live allowed him to survive.
It was too late however. The Darkforce had started to influence his whole being. Upon getting back to safety to the mothership, his mind could take it no more; he was consumed by the Darkforce derived from the source of the Underworld. It manifested in Galan in the form of an insatiable hunger, to feed on any form of life or suffer in immeasurable anguish and die. Galan was consumed by that hunger and started to mindlessly attack his fellow Celestials and the mothership. Galan's fellow Celestials, horrified by what they witnessed, decide to abandon him, fearing the repercussions of Galan coming into the mortal world and feeding on the lifeforms present there.
Galan is angered that his fellow people are abandoning him and giving up on him even after his brave frontier to go into the Underworld and collect the Infinity Stone for them, and has become vengeful as the Darkforce has clouded his mind. As retaliation, he attacks the other Celestials and feeds on the life force of the Celestials in the mothership, many fall to his slaughter, while a few escape using their teleportation device. Galan, unable to shake off the influence of the destructive cosmic force of the Darkforce, absorbs the Space Stone to feed on it's energy to satiate his newfound hunger to sustain his planet sized body, and attains the power of universal teleportation, which he uses to teleport himself away to where the Celestials escaped; to their motherland.
Invasion Of Galan[]
Upon arrival, Galan attacked the Celestial motherland and absorbed the life forces of a huge proportion of the Celestial population mindlessly, having to satiate his need to feed on life, his power and inclination towards violence heightened by the Darkforce, all the while his powers were amplified by the limitless energy he absorbed from the Space Stone. The Celestials, with no options left, uses the Power Stone, the only current Infinity Stone they had in their possession in their motherland, to try and fight back against Galan. They are able to use the Power Stone to slow down the onslaught of Galan but it is still not enough as Galan, quite cleverly used the cosmic powers of the Space Stone to redirect any blast he received from the Power Stone onto the rest of the cosmos instead of his own body. Desperate, the Celestials had to call upon and seek the help of the Primordial Gods to help them take down Galan. The Primordial Gods and Celestials fought in the The Invasion Of Galan where the Celestial Arishem, who was across the galaxy at that time, had been able to reach in time and use the power of the Infinity Stone that he wielded, the Reality Stone to separate the Space Stone from within Galan, which was fueling him with limitless cosmic energy and powers.
Galan, who was being exacerbated by the visceral effects of the Darkforce, essentially had no control over his conscience anymore. The Darkforce that corrupted him spread it's telepathic Anti-Life Will across the rest of the Celestial motherland they were fighting in. It was the same destructive force/desire emanating from the Darkforce, which made anyone affected by it want to no longer live & be plunged into a similar darkness as the void of the Underworld; this effect is what caused the rest of Galan's crew to commit suicide while they were in the Underworld when retrieving the Space Stone. The Celestials and deities who did not have the wills to keep persevering in this grueling battle anymore were also corrupted by the Anti Life Will created by the Darkforce and killed themselves. The Primordial God, Knull, the God Of Life and Prosperity, valiantly fought against Galan directly. He realized that there was a force, not alive or organic, but a destructive force that existed before any form of creation, the Darkforce, that had swept up Galan and was trying to kill him but since Galan had an indomitable will, it was unable to kill him, so the force was using his body instead, to kill others. Galan, weakened and in mortal pain from the Celestial attack was now losing the will to resist the Darkforce anymore, tired and weakened by the attack from the deities and Celestials and in trauma and wanted to be free from the pain, his willpower starting to break.
Knull used his powers to telepathically bestow within Galan's mind, the gift of an unbreakable willpower; the power to persevere in life and never give up on it no matter how daunting and unfathomably difficult it gets. In Knull's attempt to save Galan from the Darkforce, he had to get up close to the Celestial and telepathically transfer it to him. However, in doing so, the Darkforce also seeped into Knull's mind, but with one last push thanks to Knull, and receiving that divine will to live, Galan was slightly able to resist the advances of the Darkforce that was about to kill him and tried to fight off the corrupting force. In the midst of this, the Celestials used the powers of the Space Stone which they were able to extract from within Galan's vessel to teleport him back to the Underworld, trapping him and hoping he would die out there like the rest of Galan's crew did.
Galan was trapped in the Underworld for eons, floating endlessly, the infinite Darkforce energy within the Underworld, corrupting him even more. Galan would have died upon getting trapped in the Underworld, due to the traumatizing battle that he just faced and the physical/mental damages he had incurred, but Knull had bestowed within him the Primordial Willpower, as explained above, which was a divine state of mind where the person would never give up on life no matter how hard it would get. It was an attempt by Knull for Galan to separate the Darkforce from within himself by resisting it's corrupting influence and not letting it make him commit suicide. However, Galan just got thrust into the Underworld again, where there is nothing but the Darkforce. With this destructive energy now channelling within him endlessly in this abyss, Galan, possessing a Primordial Willpower, was unable to die due to the Primordial Willpower not allowing his willpower to weaken, and he did not give into the darkness of the abyss and and was able to live on for eons, albeit in agony and anguish, since Knull's power essentially prevented him from taking his own life, which was essentially all what the Darkforce wanted to do.
Living on endlessly in extreme, indescribable pain for an endless amount of time in the Underworld, and his mind under the continuous corruption of the Darkforce, Galan grew vengeful in that void and his hunger was growing stronger every passing day, vowing to return to the mortal coil again and exacting his vengeance against his fellow Celestials. Galan kept floating in the Underworld until he was able to bump into the Celestial solar system sized mothership they used to travel in the Underworld, which was wrecked by Galan's mindless attack, which they also abandoned due to Galan's attack. Galan decided to start working on fixing this wrecked ship and find a way to get back to the mortal coil and feed on life again, otherwise he would keep suffering. Galan was no longer the Celestial scientist that he once was, he was revered in the later tales of the future, as Galactus.
Aftermath Of Galactus' Invasion[]
After Galactus' mindless assault against the Celestials, they were forced by the remaining Primordial Gods to give up the Infinity Stones they had in their possession. The Space Stone would eventually be put under the protection of the peacekeeping organization, the Nova Corps. The Power Stone & Reality Stone would be hidden in planes unknown to anyone except for one Primordial God, who was supposed to die with the knowledge of where they were hidden. Of course, those Stones would be discovered by beings in the future through arduous, persistent searching but that's a tale for later. Knull was instrumental in taking down Galactus, however, as mentioned before, the Darkforce had seeped into his mind too while he was battling Galan, and slowly started to corrupt him.
He returned to his dimension in the Elseworld, where, eventually, the Darkforce that was now within Knull, was starting to affect him. However, he also had the Primordial Willpower within him, meaning he would not be swayed by the effects of the Darkforce that would make him want to kill himself; instead, similar to how the Darkforce within Galan manifested in him and corrupted him through making him insatiably hungry for organic life/destroy other organic life if not him, the deadly nature of the Darkforce also manifested in Knull in a different way since he refused to die; As the God of Life, he had many divine abilities, to reinvigorate or make life prosperous, or to create life itself; the Darkforce now literally manifested itself in Knull through his powers of creating life; the Darkforce manifested into actual, organic, living beings, as parasitic, malicious creatures who would take over a creature's body, suck it dry and use it as a vessel themselves. These creatures, essentially the living embodiments of the Darkforce/destruction/the void itself, would be known as the Symbiotes.
Knull was now completely corrupted by the Darkforce and gave birth to the Symbiotes, tragically turned from a pure hearted God of Life into a horrifying, malicious being swayed by the Darkforce. Knull, now wanted to spread the Symbiotes/the living embodiments of the Darkforce onto the rest of the Elseworld and also any form of mortal life, and thus rallied the evil Gods of the Elseworld and created the Ancient Brigade Of Gods and started the Primordial War. Indeed, Knull, corrupted by the Darkforce, was the instigator and the reason behind the divine war that took place eons ago, which I explained in the section of the Gods in this article, meaning Galan's invasion happened back when the Primordial Gods were still alive.
Knull and the Ancient Brigade Of Gods commenced their assault, with an army of symbiotes and other evil Gods, and even went into the mortal world, where a lot of the symbiotes were able to escape and latch onto mortal lifeforms. However, ultimately, the good-hearted gods were able to defeat Knull and stop their madness. The good-hearted Primordial Gods were unable to however kill Knull, since he was too powerful, and being a former God of Life himself, he was essentially unable to die; instead they sent him back to his dimension, and sealed it off permanently so he could not escape anymore (with the Borr's Decree spell) Knull, still corrupted by the Darkforce, plunged his own realm into darkness, and became a God Of Darkness, embodying the Darkforce. Many symbiotes that he birthed leaked out into the world of the living from when he mounted his assault there, one of which, would also infamously end up on Planet Earth itself in the far, far future.
Hela & The Infinity Stones[]
In the further future, during Odin's rule of Asgard, Hela, the daughter of Odin and their Goddess of War, would turn to the dark side and was inspired by the Ancient Brigade Of Gods, to invade the mortal world. As the Goddess Of War of Asgard, Hela wanted to wage war against all of mortalkind. She used the Bifrost Bridge to escape to the mortal world with a new brigade of evil gods. Odin, Zeus, Bast and the Valkyrie squad of Asgard were able to stop Hela's tyranny although many new gods/descendants of gods were slain, including all of the Valkyrie squad of Asgard, except for one warrior named Brunnhilde.
Eternals[]
The Celestials started recuperating from their wounds from the attack of Galactus. The Celestials had dwindled in numbers after Galactus' attack, and was in the brink of extinction. Deciding to repopulate their race again, the Celestials decide to procreate again. However, their method of procreation is much different than the process of us sapient beings.
In order for new Celestials to be born, Celestials have to insert a Celestial Seed into the core of a terrestrial planet brimming with life. The seed will ripen over the course of a million to billion years, and can only create life/grow, by feeding on the life force of the planet's lifeforms and intelligent life. The remaining Celestials went around the universe looking for planets where their prime species are on the brink of starting civilization, and planted the Celestial Seeds on those planets. As the ripening and birth of a new Celestial from the seed requires a consistent cycle of life force of a large population of sapient beings on the world they were seeded into, the Celestials needed to ensure that life was prospering in the planet so the baby Celestial could keep harvesting energy from it and from its seed, sprout into a full fledged organic being and then be born. That is why the Celestials genetically engineered and created the Deviants, the ultimate, powerful, beastly lifeforms, to wipe out those seeded planet's apex predators that posed a threat to their intelligent life/a consistent life cycle. However, over time, due to their biological nature and being left unattended by the Celestials for thousands of years, the Deviants evolved to now, not only hunt apex predators that hunted intelligent life, but all forms of life too, thus foregoing the purpose of their creation, ironically becoming the very thing they were built to stop.
The Celestials returned to those planets centuries later to be horrified at what the Deviants had become. In order to prevent the Deviants from wiping out all sapient lifeforms in the seeded planets, the Celestials decided to create deterrents against Deviants. They concluded that if they wanted to protect the intelligent life, they would need to experiment and grant power-ups to intelligent lifeforms capable of following orders rather than create beastly mindless creatures like Deviants. They thus experimented on the representative intelligent species of the seeded planets and experimented on them, giving them their celestial cosmic abilities. These genetical altered and cosmically powered beings would be then assigned the duty of defending their planet and it's lifeforms from the Deviants that have gone out of control. These beings were known as the Eternals.
Earth's Eternals[]
In the case of Earth, the Celestials experimented on humanity, picking humans from different parts of the world and granting them cosmic powers and abilities. These Eternals, as they would be then called, would have their memories of their former lives erased, as it would possibly interfere with the mission that the Celestials wanted to impose on them, which would be to safeguard their planet's creatures from the Deviants. With their mind wiped and their mission of protecting humanity from Deviants hardwired in their minds, the Eternals of the Earth would be dispatched to the regions of the world they were selected from and defend it. However, they were strictly forbidden in interfering too much with Earth's civilizations beyond their given assignment of just protecting them from Deviants and giving civilizations a little hand in becoming more advanced. Therefore, they were not allowed to participate in wars fought between humans only, as the Celestials believed natural selection would take place in these wars and still ultimately lead to a flourishing overall human population, and would not be optimal for the natural balance of Earth if Eternals interfered.
Origin Of The Mutants[]
Additionally, the Celestials wanted to make sure that the human population can be strong enough themselves to ward off potential threats to their existence and thus be able to increase their population (and therefore gather more life force energy for the Celestial Seed to ripen with a larger population to feed off from), the Celestials also experimented on normal early human beings and implemented within them, a compiled DNA matrix filled with genetic data they collected of millions of alien species in the past, which would imbue in those experimented humans, a power, feature or ability of those countless alien species, at random, and strengthen them from the ordinary human being.
Indeed, the Celestials installed within these human beings, the latent gene with the potential to access a random power from the compiled DNA matrix of the countless alien races, which in modern day, is dubbed as the X-Gene, and those who are born with the X-Genes and gain a power at random from the DNA Matrix are called Mutants. It would take many many centuries for the X-Gene to finally actualize within human beings, as they evolved over time.
Another way to explain the X-Gene is that the Celestials installed within humans a hereditary library of intergalactic genetic data of countless alien species that allowed those who possessed this genetic data library in their genes to gain a physical trait selected at random from the variety of different alien species, each with their own unique abilities, from this 'genetic library' and alter the human's body in a way that these powers could manifest in them. They put this feature in them so they could make sure they can handle predators without the help of the Celestials, so humanity can continue to thrive, therefore procreate, which allows for the baby Celestial to suck their life force and be born faster.
The descendants of those early humans who were experimented upon by the Celestials spread across the globe, with there being millions of known people with X-Genes present in their system in the present day. Most of them have the X-Genes but do not develop a mutation/gain a power, while some of them do develop the mutation from the X-Gene and gain powers. In present day, there is a recorded 200,000+ people who became mutated by the X-Genes, with a recorded 4 million+ people born with X-Genes who didn't get mutated/gain powers.
Additionally, human beings weren't the only creatures that were experimented upon by the Celestials. They inserted the X-Gene into a few other creatures such as canines, spiders, wolves, sea creatures, and all of these animal mutant creatures eventually ended up migrating to a very secretive forest land in Africa known as the Savage Lands, where you will find a wide variety of creatures rumored to only exist in fairy tales or myths, such as werewolves, giant spiders, vampires, giant apes, and other mystical creatures.
Contributions Of Earth's Eternals & The Consequent History Of Wakanda[]
Although the Eternals were strictly forbidden to grow attached to the species in the planets they were sent to defend, the Eternals of Earth went on to do great things for the ancient civilizations of Earth they were active in and was the influence behind many mythological stories or the reason behind many cultural influences, as well as growing attached with the planet and it's people. For example, Thena, was heralded in ancient Greek stories as the warrior Athena, and tales of her power and bravery were recorded through fictionalized retellings. Druig used mind control to wipe the memories of Deviants from the people who witnessed the battles between Deviants and Eternals. Sprite used illusions and projections to spread paranoia of sightings of ghosts or monsters (as pranks usually, she is the one who started the Bigfoot sightings) or to use her projections to cinematically portray epics and stories of the Eternals to normal earthlings who would record them in the form of literature and art. The Eternals in general saved humanity from Deviants in countless occasions but there was one Eternal who probably had the most cultural impact out of any other Eternal.
Phastos, the genius cosmic inventor, who was responsible for safeguarding the ancient African continent, used the extraterrestrial metal that the Celestials used to make their motherships, Vibranium, for his big, larger-than-life inventions. Phastos used to operate in the ancient lands of early Wakanda, whose tribal people would worship the Panther God Bastet. The majority of Phastos' supply of vibranium was left in Wakanda before he left Earth, as well as his teachings and knowledge of futuristic technology and architecture. He transformed the tribal wastelands of Wakanda into the most technologically advanced oasis in the world. Even long after his disappearance, the Wakandans used the remainder of his teachings, knowledge and resources to further transform Wakanda into a supremely advanced nation in the far future. Indeed, Phastos, in my lore, is the reason why Wakanda is so futuristic and ahead of technology in this rendition of Earth. Phastos also broke a lot of Celestial laws by fully transforming Wakanda into a futuristic land from the tribal wasteland that it once was.
Retirement Of Earth's Eternals[]
Earth's Eternals, or for that matter, any Eternal, had no idea that the true purpose behind their existence and designation of Celestial power wasn't just to kill the Deviants but to essentially make sure the Earth had a sufficient population for the Celestial growing inside the planet to grow and bloom from it's seed by absorbing the energy from the planet's lifeforms. Only the leaders of the Eternals of each planet were informed of the existence behind the Celestial Seeds, what happens when they are born, and how the planets are destroyed in the process of their awakening (a process called the Emergence)
Ajak, who was the leader of Earth's Eternals, was the only one amongst her Earth-based team who knew about how Earth would get destroyed if the Celestial finally sprouted from it's seed. By the 14th Century, Deviants from the Earth had been wiped off from the face of the planet and Earth's Eternals, consequently, decided to start being lenient with laws set by the Celestials as they believed the purpose behind their existence was satisfied and essentially semi-retired into Earth in their respective regions. Some of them fell in love with human beings, some of them, like Phastos, transformed a nation at the start of civilization into a futuristic oasis, thus disrupting the natural flow of manmade civilization.
Human beings who inherited the X-Genes from the Celestial experimentations on their early ancestors had also started to turn into mutants a few centuries prior, becoming formidable themselves against other predatorial species, and the Earthling population was steadily growing despite there being a lot of human conflicts/wars. It looked like the process for the Emergence would be happening smoothly in around a few dozen centuries. Ajak who has always suffered from the mortal dilemma of not informing her fellow Eternals about the Emergence and what would happen to Earth, despite being guilt-ridden about the future fate of humanity, still remained loyal to the Celestial cause, and convinced herself their decision was for the best and that Earth's destruction was necessary for the creation of a new Celestial. She was also affected by humanity's affinity for violence and wasn't fully convinced that they should be spared from their inevitable destruction.
Ikaris, an Eternal from Earth, was devout and fully loyal to the Celestials, excelled in field duty against Deviants, and was Ajak's right-hand man and combat strategist. He was dissatisfied with the Eternals essentially semi-retiring after the Deviants apparent extinction on Earth and craved for further validation from the Celestials and for action. Ajak confided in Ikaris about the truth behind the Celestial Seeds and the fate of humanity as a result since she thought he was worthy of being told the truth due to excelling in his duties; Ikaris was shocked but quickly accepted the truth, and decided to detach himself from humanity in order to avoid having second thoughts about the Celestial's mission.
Meanwhile, Druig had become tired of humanity's savage nature and inclination towards war and had become disillusioned with the very people who was sent to protect. He was also very curious about his childhood, which he had no memory of. Sensing that something was off about memories he couldn't remember, he was able to activate the full extent of his mind control and telepathic abilities to uncover the deleted memories inside his body, about his life as a human being before the Celestials abducted and turned them into Eternals. Traumatized by this discovery, he decided to act out against the Celestials by disobeying their laws and mind controlled a small nation of people in war to give up their arms and took them under his control to live in orchestrated peace in a small cult deep within mountain lands of an isolated nation, and telepathically sent a message to his Eternal comrades, asking for them to come to his homestead in order to inform them about how they were all mind-wiped.
Ajak, who as a leader, had heightened empathy, sensed something was wrong after receiving the telepathic message from Druig. Upon receiving the telepathic message, Ikaris, who also realized something was up with Druig, flew all the way to Druig's homestead and realized that Druig knew about how they were unfairly abducted and was having an existential crisis as a result. Realizing he posed a threat by potentially being able to sway the other Eternals into turning against and questioning the Celestials, Ikaris kills Druig in cold blood before anyone could arrive, believing his mission to be more important than friendship. Druig was unable to do anything about him as his mind control powers don't work on fellow Eternals. Ajak and the Eternals later arrive to learn their fellow comrade was killed. Ikaris pretended he had just arrived and had no idea of what happened but Ajak immediately realized he killed Druig, and became filled with remorse and guilt for even telling him about the Celestials' secret, as it only exacerbated his radical behavior and worship of Celestials, and made him lose compassion and empathy for his own colleagues.
The death of an Eternal caught the attention of the Celestials who were very alarmed. They had a system set up which would automatically inform them if any Eternal died, so they could figure out what went wrong and make future Eternals stronger. All the Eternals present in Earth were summoned in front of the Celestial council. The Celestials were angered upon discovering the Eternals broke their laws and mingled too much with humanity or interfered when they shouldn't have, but due to having erased all Deviants from Earth and fulfilling their duties efficiently, Ajak convinced the Celestials to spare them. Instead of punishing Ikaris who broke the ultimate law by killing one of his own, the Celestials found that his unwavering loyalty to them and willingness to even kill one of his own to protect Celestial secrets was worthy of admiration, and how he was able to not leak the secrets of their origins to his other comrades was valiant, much to the chagrin of Ajak.
The Celestials decided that the Eternals of Earth had become too erratic and decided to put them in retirement and sent them off to the barren, paradise-like alien planet of Themiscyra, where they were to retire in peace which they were forbidden from stepping outside of, or even use their powers inside, while they were in retirement. The Eternals were all mind-wiped once again and would remain dormant until Deviants popped up in Earth, at which point, they would return to duty as cosmic agents without free will. Ikaris, however was spared from this mind-wipe due to his excellent service as a soldier.
Ikaris thought retirement didn't suit him and was dispatched by the Celestials onto other planets where Deviants remained so he could clear them off. He was very happy that he was given more duties and even more prideful that after being dispatched to other alien planets, he was made the Leader of other Eternal groups in several alien planets. For centuries, he continued missions on other planets where he successfully oversaw the creation of many new Celestials and the impending destruction of those planets. Ajak remained in Themiscyra, although mind-wiped, the heartbreak of her unclear past lingered on. She lived on catatonically even in retirement, depressed and lost.
Eternals Of The Cosmos[]
As mentioned before, Earth wasn't the only planet where the Celestials dispatched Deviants and created Eternals. They sent them out in multiple planets across many solar systems. One of those planets was Saturn. The Eternals of Saturn were successful in wiping out all remaining Deviants causing havoc in their planet, and eventually the Emergence of Saturn was complete and a newborn Celestial bore fruit. The Eternals of Saturn were allowed to retire in Titan, a surviving satellite/moon of the now destroyed Saturn, whereupon the Celestials decided to stop supervising the Saturn Eternals and give them complete independence permanently, absolving them of all of their duties since they fulfilled all of it. Notable Eternals who retired there included A'lars, aka Mentor, and Sui San, amongst many more. The aforementioned two wed and had two children, Thanos and Eros, also known by his alias Starfox. Although both children were born to full-blooded Eternals, Thanos was born with something called the Deviant Syndrome, a rare genetic mutation, that turned his skin purple and his body hideous and hide-like, and essentially turned him into a into a Deviant-like being despite being a pure blooded Eternal.
Sui San was mortified after seeing her child Thanos for the first time and tried to kill him due to his resemblance to Deviants who the Eternals had a natural, hardwired hatred for. The Deviant Syndrome however, also gave Thanos abnormal strength and it allowed him to survive his attempted murder. Coupled with the lack of his mother's love, the Deviant Syndrome increasing his natural tendency for violence and bloodshed, and being ostracized from his society for all of his childhood, Thanos had become a vengeful, psychopathic, bloodthirsty Eternal who wanted to conquer and enslave his people and homeworld for mistreating him all his life. He was successful in doing so and even killed his parents and set out to conquer other planets too. Starfox, his brother, however, was able to escape Thanos' tyranny and set out in the cosmos.
The History Of Talokan[]
There was one bit of recorded history that was left out by the Wakandan history books, erased from their records. Before Wakanda became an isolationist nation in the far future and shut themselves off from the rest of the world, in the 16th Century, which is three centuries after Phastos left Earth to retire on Themiscyra, there was a war between Wakanda and the Republic of Zangaro, the neighboring country of Wakanda, who discovered the existence of vibranium there. They engaged in war to take control of the rare vibranium resource in Wakanda, and ultimately, the war caused a large supply of vibranium to sink into the neighboring oceans, until that large cache of vibranium sunk to the Atlantic Ocean. Wakanda had won the war raised by the Republic of Zangaro and absorbed their nation into their own before cloaking their country from the rest of the world to prevent any further attempts for the theft of their vibranium.
In 1571, a Yucatán-Mayan tribe that lived in an island near the Atlantic Ocean found themselves dying due to smallpox introduced by Spanish colonizers. To survive, the tribesmen ingested a mystical herb growing close to the shores of the ocean that was rumored to have restorative properties. Turns out, that mystical herb was blessed by the Mayan God of Rain & Water, Chaac, centuries ago during his visit to Earth, back when gods of the Elseworld were still allowed to visit the World of the Living. After ingesting the herb, the smallpox the tribesmen contracted magically healed, but they went through a metamorphosis and found that they now have blue skin and gills, similar to what was described about the physical features of their worshipped god Chaac, and they were now unable to breathe properly out in the land anymore. They instinctually went into the sea to breathe, where their ordinary skin colors were restored. They were shocked to see they were now able to breathe and freely traverse underwater even in the deepest trenches and they ultimately decided to settle underwater, which was free of the diseases of man. They now have the features of their god Chaac, who blessed them with his powers through the herb.
Calling themselves Talokanil, they migrated across the seven seas, approximately 12,000-30,000 feet deep. They established the nation of Talokan on the sea floor where the raw vibranium deposits from the Wakandan-Zangaron war had drowned and sunk to. They used the vibranium to transform the underwater empire of Talokan into a quite advanced, strong and fortified nation. Talokan is also alternatively called Atlantis by the West.

Namor, the Ruler of Talokan.
Shortly after, a century later, a small group of Talokanils had returned to the surface world by the request of the crown prince, the young boy, Ch'ah Toh Almehen, also called Namor, who wanted to see what the world beyond the ocean they used to inhabit looked like. The Talokanils returned to their original ancestral land in the Yucatan islands only to see a plantation run by a slave master in their former island. Setting fire to the property and killing the colonizers, Talokan and the young Namor harbored a resentment towards surface dwellers and elected to keep their existence hidden from humanity; a sentiment they had for the centuries going forward to the present day and an ideology that was similar to the Wakandans.
That wasn't the only thing interesting about Talokan's crown prince Namor. He was crowned Prince and Ruler of Talokan for an important reason. He was actually a mutant, the only Talokanil mutant, the strongest of any Talokanils, and had the ability to breathe both underwater but also in the surface world, which the Talokanils had lost the ability to do without wearing special breathing masks. His mutation also gave him feather wings on his ankle that allowed him to fly. He also had abnormal strength and athletic prowess compared to the already superhuman Talokanil people. His mutation would infer that the Talokanils/Yucatán-Mayan tribe were also descendants of the early human beings that the Celestials had experimented upon and inserted the X-Gene within. Namor was simply the first of his kind to actualize the X-Gene within his genetic matrix.
En Sabah Nur[]

En Sabah Nur aka Apocalpyse
En Sabah Nur, translated as the "Seven Lights", was an ancient mutant warrior known as the ruthless Apocalypse. He was one of the first mutants ever recorded in history. He is also one of the extremely rare mutants to not only manifest one power from the X-Gene, but multiple. It is rare for the X-Gene to even manifest and make a person a mutant, but he had multiple powers from different species recorded in the X-Gene, which was even more rare. He was born in ancient Egypt thousands of years ago. Abandoned at birth due to his monstrous appearance (which was the first mutation of his to awaken), he was forced into slavery in Ancient Egypt. His second mutation awakened during the hardest part of his life, and his newfound mighty powers allowed him to turn on his masters and tyrannical pharaohs and conquer all that stood in his way. However, in the process of liberating ancient Egypt from their tyrannical masters, he became the most authoritarian and power-hungry of them all, deciding to rule it with an iron fist. He championed an extreme philosophy of mutant supremacy and "survival of the fittest"; only the strong deserve to survive and weakness should be mercilessly destroyed. He is reportedly the first Omega Level mutant in Earth, essentially a mutant who unlocks nearly god-like levels of powers from their X-Gene mutation, and obviously having multiple mutations helped.
Over the course of his rule, Apocalypse was worshipped as a god in ancient Egypt, enforcing his rule and also commanding a formidable strike force known as the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse. He would periodically enter lengthy periods of regenerative rest to prolong his lifespan and seek out powerful mutants as host bodies. He was successfully sealed off into an indefinite slumber by an ancient group of sorcerers who banded together to stop his oppressive tyranny. He was too strong to be killed so they sealed him off in the pits of an inaccessible Egyptian pyramid.
Wenwu & The Ten Rings[]
History Of The Nova Corps[]
Planet Xandar, the home of the Xandarians and the Nova Empire, is most famous for being the main base of operations for the Nova Corps, an intergalactic peacekeeping police force comprising of heroic soldiers from different planets, who seek to defend the cosmos from unruly threats. They have guarded the Space Stone for centuries. The leader of the Nova Corps is given the title of the Nova Prime.
Centuries ago, the Nova Force only had menial weapons and their Nova Armor (a technologically advanced suit of armor, fortified with nearly unbreakable metal and capable of granting anyone who dons this armor the ability to fly across space at high speeds) against the much more formidable, evil cosmic forces that posed a threat to the peace of the galaxies. Desperate to fight back against these powerful, malicious forces, the Nova Force aimed to strengthen themselves and harnessed the infinite cosmic energy from the Space Stone they had in their possession, and imbued it into the armor of their Nova Prime at the time, enhancing his armor, and granting the Nova Prime's armor with the ability to project great cosmic energy and beams. With the cosmically fueled Nova Prime armor granting the leader of the Nova Corps insurmountable cosmic strength, the Nova Corps and the Nova Prime of each respective centuries, defended the world against many great threats, across time.
However, during the 18th Century, the Nova Corps had a civil war, caused due to a rogue, high-ranking officer, who stole the Space Stone to obtain it's power for himself. The Space Stone was stolen by that traitor, who imbued a portion of it's limitless cosmic energy onto his own Nova Armor. The rogue Nova officer and his faction of loyal Nova officers/fellow mutineers and the rest of the Nova Corps engaged in a great civil war. Their battle was ferocious and caused great disaster to the Xandar's homeworld. Ultimately, the Nova Prime at the time was unable to defend the Space Stone from the mutineers, who stole it and intended to use it for their own immoral plans.
They used the power of the Space Stone to transport themselves to a different dimension, outside of the world of the mortals, to evade the law, and ended up on Elseworld. Heimdall found out about mortal trespassers in Elseworld. Odin and the Asgardians were infuriated by the presence of these dishonorable men and engaged in war with them. Despite having the possession of the Space Stone, the rogue Nova Corps were overwhelmed by the Asgardians, and decided to use the Space Stone to transport themselves to Earth, one of the well-known planets that was under Asgard's protection, whose mortals worshipped them. They held the planet's denizens for hostage, telling the Asgardians to leave them alone or otherwise they would destroy the planet with the cosmic powers of the Space Stone. Odin did not heed their blackmail at all and engaged in a ferocious battle against them, and was able to kill these evil men once and for all. Odin decided to destroy and completely disintegrate the Space Stone with his mighty power. With the Space Stone supposedly destroyed and broken up into useless crystallized chunks and fragments, Odin threw them into the depths of the oceans, so no man is ever able to use the power of the stone again and exploit it.
Unbeknownst to Odin and the Asgardians, the seemingly destroyed and inoperational Space Stone reformed itself (given that it is the embodiment of the cosmos itself and a limitless vacuum of energy, it can really never cease to exist by mortal hands unless it is done so through the will of all six Infinity Stones combined) regenerating over time into a cubic crystallized ingot, known as the Tesseract.
Meanwhile, in the 21st Century, in present day, the Nova Corps is led by their Nova Prime, an Earthling named Rasheed Haider, hailing from Turkey. He was chosen as a soldier of the Nova Corps by former Nova Prime Rhomann Dey, who upon his death, passed his armor to Haider, due to finding him worthy after his years of heroics in the Corps. Going by the codename/heroic alias of Nova, Haider wields the Nova Prime armor and can thus use it to generate cosmic energy beams and fly across space at limitless speeds. Rasheed Haider is based on Richard Ryder of the 616 continuity. Rasheed had a son with a Guatemalan woman, named Alejandro Haider, who would join the Nova Corps himself and don a spare Nova Prime armor that was cosmically enhanced by the Space Stone in the past, in case the Nova Prime died. He would adopt the moniker of Kid Nova and join his father across space in defending it from threats.
Inhumans[]
In the 19th century, the Krees, a powerful and advanced alien race, had discovered through their research of multiple planets that Earthlings had enhanced genetic potential (which was the X-Gene that was introduced to them through the Celestials) and intended to recruit these mutants into their army, forcefully if necessary, and use them in their plans for conquering other planets and races. They set up outposts on Earth and collected human beings with the latent X-Genes within them and set them up in a hidden, secluded island from the rest of the world. This island was known as Genosha.
They learnt that the mutants were not born with powers immediately, and those that possessed the X-Genes would only randomly activate their powers if those latent genes existed within them in the first place. They wanted to make it so that they could activate the X-Genes in those humans at any given time, and therefore created the Terrigen Crystals, which contained the gaseous substance, the Terrigen Mist, that released chemicals that had the ability to activate the human's latent X-Genes immediately if it goes into their system, thus giving them their powers. These Terrigen Crystals were stored in that secluded city. Eventually, these mutants that had been artificially awakened through the process of Terrigenesis by the Krees decided to overthrow their alien abductors and with their powers, overwhelmed them and killed them all. They set up their own kingdom in Genosha, led by the Boltagon Family. Before the Krees were murdered while stationed in Earth, they warned their Kree legions to not set foot in Earth, horrified by the side-effects of such dangerous mutants.
These mutants stepped outside of their secluded mutant island and wanted to interact with the rest of humanity. They visited other lands and were horrified when the normal human beings, who had not seen such supernatural people, were scared of them, drove them out and treated them as monsters. They were ungraciously dubbed by the ordinary human beings as the Inhumans. Mutants and their descendants who hail from that secluded kingdom of Kree-abducted mutant test subjects declare themselves as the Inhumans, a subfaction of mutants whose mutation was not natural and induced artificially/forcefully through the Terrigenesis Crystals. Convinced that they will never get be treated normally, the Inhumans decided to no longer stay in this planet. They carried all of their resources, the Terrigen Crystals and their people, aboard the abandoned giant Kree spaceship which their scientists came to Earth in, and migrated from this planet, to the Moon. There, the Inhumans set up their own kingdom and live in a giant city-sized bubble that is enwrapped with oxygen. This secret city of the Inhumans are called Attilan.
In present day, the Inhumans are led by patriarch and reigning king of the Boltagon family, Blackagar Boltagon, who goes by his alias, Black Bolt. His wife is the Queen of Attilan, Medusa Amadelith. Her younger sister is Crystal Amadelith and the Princess of Attilan. Black Bolt has a cousin, the scheming and conniving Maximus Boltagon, who is known as Maximus the Mad. They also have a gigantic Inhuman canine named Lockjaw.
Here is a few Inhuman descendants that settled in Attilan or otherwise:

In the 20th Century, during the height of the World War, the Nazis and the Allied Forces each were individually trying to find a foothold over each other and find sources of power to help them win the war. In the case of the Nazis, HYDRA, a scientific organization under the leadership of Johann Schmidt of the Nazi Schutzstaffel, worked on making advanced weapons against their enemies. For the Allies and the United States, it was their plans of creating a super soldier army against the Nazis. Abraham Erskine, a brilliant scientist, was able to create an artificial Super Soldier serum that would enhance a human being to their peak condition. Johann Schmidt was terrified when he learnt about the Super Soldier plan through a spy and decided to recreate the same plans as the Allies.
They were, however, unable to replicate the same formula as Erskine's, and decided to look into Wakanda, where they heard tales about a heart-shaped herb. They employed the Klaue Family, well known colonizers and war criminals in Africa, to go into the hidden nation and find the heart-shaped herb. They were able to find one of them and sent it back to HYDRA. Johann, tempted by the allure of power through the heart shaped herb, decided to use it on himself. What he didn't know was that the herb was blessed by Bastet and that it would only strengthen those who worshipped her, but curse anyone else who tried to misuse it. Johann did gain superhuman strength but he became disfigured, with his skull peering out, all of his flesh gone. Naming himself the Red Skull, Johann aimed to lead Nazi Germany and HYDRA to the top of the world.

Captain America (Steve Rogers)
Meanwhile, in America, during the height of the Second World War, the US performed their first successful Super Soldier experiment on Steve Rogers by Abrahan Erskine, under the supervision of the US military, British agent Peggy Carter and genius scientist/industrialist Howard Stark. Abraham Erskine was shortly assassinated by an undercover HYDRA spy so his serum could not be replicated to create a whole army of super soldiers. Steve, upon receiving his newfound strength, gained the title of the patriotic Captain America and become a war hero that led his troops, the Howling Commandos, against Nazi Germany and the Red Skull. The Howling Commandos comprised of Bucky Barnes, Dum Dum Dogan, Jim Morita and other brave soldiers.
HYDRA, however, later found their most powerful weapon, the Tesseract, the reformed Space Stone that Odin destroyed, which regenerated over time into a cubic ingot, lying in the depths of the oceans in a European mountain. HYDRA and the Red Skull aimed to use it's exponential cosmic energy to create cosmically powered weapons. Captain America finally came head to head against HYDRA and the Red Skull himself, where during a mission, all of the Howling Commandos tragically sacrificed themselves against HYDRA's forces. Bucky Barnes, one of the members and Roger's lifelong best friend, was presumed dead, however did not perish, but was rather fatally injured and lost in action.
Once Red Skull had launched his offensive, intending to bring the United States down onto its knees, he was intercepted by Captain America. The fight ended when Red Skull touched the Tesseract with his bare hands attempting to use it's powers himself, prompting it to create a wormhole and send him elsewhere. Red Skull was teleported to Vormir, where he became trapped in a state of purgatory, becoming a Stonekeeper, a wraith advising those who sought the Soul Stone. Meanwhile, HYDRA sent out nukes towards America. In an effort to stop those nukes, Rogers crashed into the Arctic during his final mission to stop a plane carrying bombs bound for the United States. He was successful in doing so but went under the ice with his aircraft where he ended up going into suspended animation. Rogers then spent sixty-six years unconscious and frozen in ice under cryostasis, before he was eventually found by S.H.I.E.L.D. in the early 21st century.

Bucky Barnes brainwashed as the Winter Soldier
Meanwhile, right after Rogers went under the ice, HYDRA decided to separate itself from Nazi Germany as the war turned unfavorable for the Nazis, and it looked like they were about to abolished. HYDRA emancipated themselves from the Nazis and set about their own quest for world domination with the same goals of using science to create powerful weapons. HYDRA scientists found Barnes lying fatally wounded and kidnapped him, where they experimented on him in the future, with their replicated version of Erskine's Super Soldier serum and turned him into a brainwashed sleeper agent for HYDRA infamously known as the Winter Soldier. They did the same for many other brainwashed HYDRA agents and turned them all into Winter Soldiers.
He and the other Winter Soldiers would be put in cryostasis and awakened every few decades for a new mission to terminate their threats, so their bodies are still kept at it's physical prime. The Winter Soldier would be responsible for the deaths of Howard Stark and his wife Maria Stark in 1991 while under the influence of HYDRA, as well as many important political figures in the past. Bucky would have no control or conscience over HYDRA's brainwashing for all those horrific incidents.
Peggy Carter, Howard Stark and other Allied members would also go on to establish the peacekeeping organization, SHIELD (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division) an American extra-governmental counter-terrorism and intelligence agency tasked with maintaining both national and global security, right after the end of the Second World War, which would expand to have global ties, and also end up having HYDRA spies infesting the organization. The HYDRA spies infesting SHIELD were the ones that were able to steal Erskine's Super Soldier Serum, left to Howard Stark, to recreate it on their own and thus create the Winter Soldiers.
The Kree Conspiracy[]
In the 70s, a Kree scientist named Mar-Vell was sent to Earth to secretly investigate what happened to the Kree outposts made there to recruit mutants in their army after years of avoiding Earth due to the ominous message they received from their scientists in their final moments as they were attacked by the Inhumans. She was shocked to discover that only the bones and remains of the Kree scientists remained in their outpost in Genosha, and that the island had been abandoned and taken over by nature; and none of their Terrigen Crystals or spaceships or any of their materials were found. She assumed that the Inhumans had taken them all and settled somewhere else. She reported this to her Kree superiors who told her to track down any other viable sources of power from Earth they could use to help them win their wars, since they realized the god-like Celestial species had come to Earth eons ago and potentially blessed this planet in other ways than the creation of mutants.
Mar-Vell remained in Earth where she continued to investigate the planet's great powers and ended up discovering and tracking down a large energy signature that had an unfathomable cosmic signature. She realized it could be a source of power she could find for the Krees to help them win their war. Mar-Vell, like all the other Krees, were led to believe by their kingdom and military that the Krees were fighting a great war across space against oppressive tyrants and that they are a race of heroes. Mar-Vell was delighted to help serve this cause, unaware it was all just a bunch of propaganda. Mar-Vell, disguising herself as a human named Wendy Lawson fell in love with a human being and had a daughter named Carol Danvers. She was happy on Earth and had a new family but still had her mission of finding that energy signature, so she had to leave her family behind to search for it, as she was loyal to the Krees. She discovered the energy signature was found in a covert SHIELD base, and over the years, built rapport with them, training to be recruited and eventually being able to join their organization as a scientist, all the while being undercover for the Krees.
After being appointed as SHIELD's head scientist on space research, she finally learnt what the source of that massive energy signature was: It wasn't any source of power the Celestials gave Earth, in actuality, she ended up finding the Tesseract, the Space Stone itself, which somehow ended up on Earth, a source of power beyond mortal comprehension, that was stronger than any advancements the human race the Celestials could have made through their experiments. SHIELD made her join Howard Stark's project and hired her to make a covert aircraft that could travel at the speed of light using the cosmic energy of the Stone, so that the United States could spy on other nations. Howard Stark was unable to create a perfect aircraft and Mar-Vell had the brains to help perfect his invention. However, she decided to instead inform her peers of her discovery about the Tesseract being on Earth.
After returning to the Kree motherland, there she overheard a private conversation between the military superiors and came to learn the horrifying secrets of how they were colonizing other races across the cosmos and taking over their planets. Unable to excuse this shocking discovery and morally conflicted, she decided not to inform the Krees about what that energy signature was, fearing they might try and take over Earth to get the Space Stone's power. Sympathetic towards the victims of the Krees, in a last ditch effort, she foiled the plans of the Krees to commit genocide on the shapeshifting Skrull alien race.
The Krees were able to take over their planet but Mar-Vell was able to save a few hundred Skrulls from their extinction using a Kree spacecraft. She decided to give these Skrull refugees a new home and returned to Earth where she planned on stealing the Space Stone to transport the Skrulls to a dimension beyond the world of the living, somewhere safe in the Elseworld, where they would not be hunted by the Krees. Human beings were unable to directly use the power of the Space Stone as their bodies would crumble into oblivion and therefore applied it on machines and weapons instead but Mar-Vell realized formidable, warrior races like Krees would perhaps have no problem in using the powers of the Stone directly as they were strong enough to do so and decided to directly use the Tesseract to transport themselves to the Elseworld.
Unbeknownst to Mar-Vell, her half-human half-Kree daughter, Carol Danvers, for the last decade and beyond, had been looking for her mother after she abandoned them. When she found out info that her mother might have joined the super secretive SHIELD, she believed that was the reason her mom had to abandon her family. Danvers decided to track down her mother, by getting into SHIELD through the US military, and therefore reuniting with her.
This very fateful day, Carol was in the same military base where the light speed aircraft and the Tesseract was being relocated for safety and where Mar-Vell had arrived to steal the Tesseract. At the same time, to add even more drama into the equation, Kree soldier Yon-Rogg tracked Mar-Vell down in that base, aiming to assassinate Mar-Vell for her betrayal towards her own race. Danvers and Mar-Vell had a very shocking, confusing and emotional reunion there where Mar-Vell was caught taking the Space Stone from it's containment unit by Danvers. Mar-Vell begged her daughter to help her get away with the stone. However, Danvers, angry at her mother for abandoning her, as well as being loyal to the military and not trusting her mother's shady intentions, decided not to and detained her. Mar-Vell, however was able to break free and ran away with the Tesseract, using Howard Stark's imperfect light speed engine aircraft to try and run away. Danvers gave pursuit and also entered the aircraft to stop her.
This chase gave Yon-Rogg enough time to track Mar-Vell down. As the aircraft made it's way to the deserted areas, Yon-Rogg shot the aerial vehicle down. Mar-Vell, unwilling to let her daughter die, gave her the Tesseract and told her to run away with it and keep it hidden from the man who is after them. Yon-Rogg shoots Mar-Vell dead and as he is about to kill Danvers since she was a witness to this incident, Danvers, in a last ditch effort to kill this menace, decides to expose herself to the Tesseract by holding it directly, to cause a gigantic energy explosion that would kill anyone in the radius. However, due to possessing Kree genes (who were one of the strongest races in the world, and comparable to Saiyans in the Dragon Ball franchise), instead of being incinerated by the Space Stone, Danvers was able to harness and channel the limitless cosmic force derived from the Space Stone, within her vessel. Irregardless, now that her body channeled an endless supply of cosmic energy, she was unable to properly regulate herself, and ended up exerting a gigantic energy explosion that destroyed the light speed engine aircraft and damaged Yon-Rogg, who had to escape.
Captain Marvel[]
Danvers was knocked out and SHIELD quickly came to the scene, retrieved the Space Stone again and the damaged light speed engine aircraft, in shambles due to Danver's explosive energy blast. Danvers awoke to find out that she now acted as a vessel for limitless cosmic energy, which she obtained through the Tesseract. The Tesseract also awakened her latent Kree genes, which stopped her from physically aging too and gave her superhuman prowess. Her body got essentially rewritten into a vessel of pure cosmic energy, and she could now shoot energy beams, fly around the cosmos and in outer space. She was detained by SHIELD, who wanted to experiment on her and find out what she is capable of, and if required, neutralize her.
Danvers escaped, horrified, and tried to lay low in the city, living with her best friend and fellow military pal Maria Rambeau and her daughter Monica Rambeau. The Skrulls, meanwhile, were still orbiting in Earth's atmosphere in the stolen Kree aircraft, saddened that their promised savior was killed. With nowhere else to go and fearing the Krees might find them again, the Skrulls decided to chase after Carol Danvers, the daughter of Mar-Vell, and seek her help. The Skrulls tracked down Danvers who misunderstood their intentions and thought they were evil, getting into a fight and chase with them across the city. This exposed the Skrulls to SHIELD who was also monitoring Danvers. SHIELD classified the Skrulls as a threat and started to assassinate them whenever discovered. However, Talos, the leader of the Skrulls was finally able to convince Danvers to just hear them out. Then, Danvers learnt who her mother really was, how she saved the Skrulls from the Krees and SHIELD agent, Nick Fury and Phil Coulson, who empathized with Danvers, and was present during this revelation of the truth, decided to help her evade from SHIELD forces for awhile.

Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel
Danvers, inspired by her mother's bravery, and her sense of justice, decided to don her mother's old Kree armor, redesigning it with her own red, blue and gold colors, given the codename of Captain Marvel by Fury, to honor her mother Mar-Vell's memory, and decided to take on the duty of helping the Skrulls immigrate to a safe planet. Since SHIELD would not give up the Tesseract, she asked Howard Stark (this happened before his assassination) and Fury for help in rebuilding the light speed engine aircraft. They agreed and started working on it again. In the midst, Yon-Rogg came back to Earth with his elite warriors, Minn-Erva, Korath, Att-las, Bron-Char and Soh-Lar as well as a small faction of his army to retaliate against Danvers. Training to hone her powers, Captain Marvel valiantly fought against the Kree warriors all alone and ended up defeating all of them in an extremely grueling battle. The Kree invaders were all killed, except Minn-Erva who escaped. Terrified of Danvers' power, the rest of the Kree battalion and their commander, Ronan decided to abandon their plans of invading this planet and leave it alone.
After finding Mar-Vell's blueprints on how to improve the light speed engine aircraft he made, Howard Stark was able to make the necessary changes required to finally perfect the aircraft. Instead of using it to spy other nations, Stark, Fury and Coulson conspirated together and decided to give it away to Danvers without the knowledge of SHIELD superiors. Danvers used the light speed engine aircraft to take the remaining Skrulls with her and find a new home for them. She found a new home for the Skrulls which they relocated into. For the next few decades, she explored the cosmos with her aircraft, deciding to become the type of person her mother wished she herself could have been, by defending helpless alien races across the cosmos from malicious forces like the Krees or whoever else necessary that deserved a cosmic ass-kicking.

Crimes Of The Osborn Family[]
The Borrmans were a Nazi-German aristocratic family filled with inventors, scientists, thinkers and hunters that dabbled in the occult and had extreme fascist Nazi beliefs that descended from a line of sorcerers. After the World War ended with the Nazis losing, the family decided to escape from Germany to evade the new non-Nazi law for their past crimes, and immigrated to the United States, under the new surname as the Osborns. The Osborns, formerly the Borrmans, notoriously had connections to criminals across all continents, as well as the notorious Klaue Family, who were criminal colonizers in the African continent who would plunder poor and exotic lands for riches and attempt to steal Wakandan resources. The Osborns created Oscorp Industries in the United States, where they started selling weapons for the United States, and later moved into defense technology for the military, and later, even medicine.
The Osborns also looked into recreating the Super Soldier serum that Abraham Erskine was able to successfully synthesize during the Second World War in an attempt to create a line of super soldiers that they wished they could create as a private army, and then sell off to people for money as contracted mercenaries. Truthfully though, Ambrose Osborn, the then-head of Oscorp, wanted to recreate the Super Soldier serum and create superhuman beings to revive the Nazi agenda of creating the perfect human beings, and he intended his successful test subjects to be white and blue eyed. They were unable to synthesize or crack the code to Erskine's Super Soldier serum and Ambrose Osborn had died before his twisted visions were realized.
Norman Fucking Osborn[]
His son, Norman Osborn was unlike his father though. He was once a sweet and innocent but brilliant young child, growing up in the States however, he faced constant abuse under his father who would punish him for his refusal to abide by his family's racist/fascist beliefs by locking him in a dungeon for hours, sometimes, days on end, where he would be trapped without food and water and in pitch darkness. This had a severe psychological effect on him as he developed schizophrenia and aggravated paranoia while trapped in the dark, and hallucinated that a malicious, demonic greenish goblin, a figure of his childhood nightmares was haunting him, that derived from the stories his Nazi father told him, about a demon that he and his family of occult Nazis were trying to conjure and summon from Hell, that would help them win the war against the Allies. He would hallucinate that this terrifying goblin like creature was cackling menacingly all the time and was after him.

Mephisto had haunted Norman Osborn in his childhood and afflicted him with a curse that corrupted his soul so he would become an agent of chaos in the future.
Haunted by his extreme delusions and driven to madness, Norman's soul had become stained with trauma. While he was locked in his dungeon, the Demon God Mephisto detected his broken soul. Mephisto has been long seeking for tormented souls in Earth and wanted to spread his evil influence across the world of the living. Doing so, he could collect the negative, evil chi of human beings (like how other deities collect chi derived from the worship/faith from mortals) and further strengthen himself. Although the Borr's Decree spell prevented any deity from stepping foot into the World of the Living, Mephisto was a Primordial God, one of the first deities, therefore one of the strongest, to ever exist, and he could bypass the Borr's Decree spell, albeit for a few minutes. He could enter the world of the living, although only for a few minutes, but not in his true form, doing so, would forcibly bring him back to hell again (Borr's Decree working in action!) That is why he instead uses apparitions or possesses the bodies of other demons and sends them to Earth, puppeteering them to look for victims and curse their souls.

The nightmarish demonic Goblin figure Norman saw in his childhood
Mephisto's presence was requested in the early 20th Century, by a Nazi occult family, the Borrmans themselves, through a summoning ritual, and he possessed the body of a monstrous, low level hell goblin to teleport to Earth and meet the Borrmans. He was impressed by their evil life force, but refused their request to send demons in Earth in the side of the Nazis to participate in the war against the Allies, as he thought it would make him a pawn for Earthlings, instead, he harvested their hateful life energy and imprinted the Mephisto Mark on them, allowing him to keep track of any of their descendants and later bloodline for new victims to harvest chi from. The story of the Borrmans meeting 'the hell goblin' was a fable of his younger years and Norman's childhood nightmare.
Mephisto used the Mephisto Mark imprint on the Borrman/Osborn bloodline to detect Norman's broken soul. Realizing he can completely plunge Norman's life into one of misery and make his innocent soul into a corrupt one, he conjures an apparition of that goblin of his nightmares and haunts him while he is trapped there in the dungeon every time. Indeed, the plot twist is Osborn did not originally hallucinate about the goblins but Mephisto, was so evil, that he actually did haunt him with his apparitions of the goblin creature he was so scared of in the stories and it was so realistic, Osborn could never tell if he was crazy or not, and ended up being driven to madness and becoming schizophrenic and actually seeing false hallucinations of the very real goblin because of Mephisto's sadistic teasing.
The evil Primordial God finally met Norman face to face, after getting bored of tormenting him, in the dungeon of his father, while he was trapped there in the dark. A young Norman is horrified and is about to pass out due to fright. Mephisto offers him a deal, to accept the Curse Of Chaos. It would allow Norman to gain unabashed confidence and willpower, which he always lacked, and would bestow him with amazing luck, basically a form of dark magic that would forcibly tamper with probability and make life go more in favor for Osborn, as long as his chi kept being harvested by Mephisto and his existence become devoted to chaos itself, a trait of demons from hell, who want to plunge worlds into anarchy and destruction. Norman initially refused and begged the demon to leave him alone, but Mephisto tormented him with the idea that he would probably die in his father's dungeon one day and live a miserable life. Osborn, having had enough of his current misery, decides to accept the deal with the devil, in the condition that he would lose the memory of this deal ever happening/this encounter with this scary goblin creature (Mephisto) The devil agreed.
What Norman didn't know is that he had essentially sold his soul to the devil, and his humane, morally righteous soul was tainted with Mephisto's curse that would make it enthralled in a desire to abuse his power, dabble in chaos, embrace insanity and malignance. Mephisto did this so Norman becomes an evil, unhinged person in the future, and therefore he could harvest Osborn's negative chi to empower himself.

Norman came out of the dungeon a changed boy. He became obsessed with gaining wealth and power and shined in academics and athletics to the point his father couldn't bully him anymore. Oscorp, meanwhile, was financially struggling due to his father's failed Super Soldier serum investments. His father claimed he was swindled out of his personal fortune by a false promise of a Super Soldier army. He tried to take his rage out on Norman again but Norman didn't tolerate it anymore, and afflicted by the Curse of Chaos, Norman gave into the dark impulses Mephisto installed within him, and murdered his father brutally. The police declared it as self-defense and he was cleared of all charges. Osborn inherited his father's company and completely erased any trace of his family's Nazi heritage, disgusted at it himself.
The Curse Of Chaos made him forget about his encounter with Mephisto, but it marked him with the devil's evil impulses. The goblin figure of his nightmares still haunted him in his nightmares and in his schizophrenic bouts; it made Norman feel small and weak, which made him morbidly angry and as a result, due to Mephisto's corruption of his soul, he developed a split personality; his normal personality was that of a cold-hearted, calculative, manipulative, clever businessman who still loved his family, and the other personality was the corrupted half that Mephisto introduced within him, his other personality literally being the very goblin of his nightmares. His split personality was literally the nightmarish goblin demon itself that scarred him in his childhood; in order to avoid feeling frightened by this goblin, as a coping mechanism, he literally adopted the personality of the very goblin itself to avoid his terror and rather embrace it.
Despite being cursed by the literal devil, Norman's willpower was impressive. He tried to fight it off as much as he could and his indomitable will allowed him to suppress his urges for evil, and in his normal personality, he found love within his college sweetheart, who he married, Emily Osborn. She was the only person he loved in his life, and to him, she was like the sign that he was capable of being good and that he could keep his unexplainable, irrational urge to do something evil in check (Mephisto erased his memories about their deal so he has no idea why he is so fucked up)
Savage Lands Experiments[]
As the new young CEO of Oscorp, although he had no interest in his family's checkered Nazi past, he decided to continue his father's failed work of the Super-Soldier serum for non-racist purposes, but for profitable purposes, and since attempts at a serum was unsuccessful, he thought they could make a superhuman in other ways; he thought the way they could do it is by extracting the power of other non human species and insert it onto humans. Norman employed the Klaue Family and Ullyses Klaue to go into the fabled Savage Lands, an animal paradise hidden deep in Africa, where endangered creatures that were only rumored of existing such as werewolves, vampires, monstrous creatures and etc. were found. The Klaue Family discovered the Savage Lands and brought back a few exotic, endangered, powerful creatures with prolonged lifespans, back for the Osborns illegally.
These creatures included very powerful, evolved and mutated versions of spiders, scorpions, rhinoceroes, amidst other animals that were available in the Savage Lands. The Osborns wanted to look into these powerful creatures, and extract their abilities by studying them. He eventually discovered that these creatures, all having lived in the Savage Land, all shared a similar virus, called the Progenitor Virus, a virus the predators in the Savage Lands had, wherein, if they infect another being, that infected being will obtain the viral creature's physical features, instincts, powers and abilities. This was a virus these evolved predators instinctually developed to infect other beings and turn them into something akin to their own species, in hopes of increasing their population, reducing different species threats, and making their cohabitation easier.
Osborn and his scientists, however realized the Progenitor Virus was deadly, and if it spread onto human beings from these infected creatures, they could morph those humans into a half-man half-infected creature like being and develop tumors and uncurable diseases that would either kill them instantly or spread their virus to other human beings, leading to a creature-zombie like breakout. Due to the risk of the Progenitor Virus, Osborn kept his Savage Lands super human project a secret, canning it temporarily, hoping to resume it when they were able to make the Progenitor Virus non lethal for human beings, and worked on it quietly for decades. Osborn kept this project in the Horizons Lab division of Oscorp. This is where radioactive experiments and treatments had been done on those virally infected Savage Land creatures for years to alter the Progenitor Virus within them safe for human contact.
The radioactive experiments on these creatures did in fact, in the future, make the Progenitor Virus safe for human contact, because these Savage Land creatures, capable of advanced evolving, adapted to the intense and painful radioactive treatments done on them, and grew even stronger, and the unstable nature of the Progenitor Virus within these creatures were stabilized enough that if it spread to humans through viral contact, like a bite or blood transfer, it wouldn't transform the infected human's body into the viral creature's body (like something out of the movie The Fly, Good God!), but rewrite the infected human's DNA matrix to accept the virus and gain the same physical abilities, instincts and powers as the creature they got infected by without having to alter their current physical body.
The scientists working on these Savage Lands creatures, however, did not want Osborn to release the Progenitor Virus into the world due to general caution and fear of the unknown, about what could go wrong even if the radioactive treatments theoretically worked on treating the unstable Progenitor Virus. Instead, to justify their project's existence without possibly hurting the animals or humans involved, the scientists retooled it, instead of wanting to extract these creature's powers and apply it on humans, they did other stuff, for example: they kept extracting the abnormally strong and differently evolved webs of the Savage Land spiders to create biocable conductors, they harvested the poisonous toxins of the Savage Lands scorpion for medicinal use, and similarly, used other Savage Land creatures for creative, innovative purposes that helped them cut costs in materials they would have to buy usually. Osborn was misled by his scientists in this project that the Progenitor Virus was not safe for human experimentation (even though they found a way to do so) to avoid a possible human trial hazard and thus, allowed the Savage Land creatures to be used in the way that they instead were, in mining their endless supply of natural, organic resources for profits. Therefore, the Savage Land creatures stayed in the containment units of Horizons Lab for a long period of time, beginning from the 90's.
Osborn & The GR-27 Experiment[]
Meanwhile, Osborn was growing even more obsessed with power. He had bought out several companies and grown Oscorp to new heights it never reached and recruited brilliant scientists and inventors like Otto Octavius, Adrian Toomes and Mendell Stromm and stomped and trampled all over their life's work, and started to lose control of his righteous and rational personality. He was becoming a more sociopathic, emotionally devoid and cold power tycoon. He even started to participate in exceedingly shady experiments, one at particular, in which he injected the cancer-ridden test subject, Martin Li with an experimental prototype serum called GR-27 which uses highly radioactive bio-electricity derived from a machine that can channel the Darkforce from the Dark Dimension to terminate and negate cancer cells in the body.
The serum had several effects on Li's body triggering a reaction that caused Li to gain volatile "negative" superhuman powers, that burst out of his body, accidentally killing his parents that were nearby. After that, he was left in an orphanage, where he grew up knowing the pain and suffering that the neediest passed. Due to this experience, Li decided to change the world for good and make the corrupt suffer. He also carried a deep hatred for Norman and Oscorp, wanting revenge on them as they ruined his life because the powers he got due to the experiment started to make him miserable for the rest of his life. Over time, Li came to understand how to control his powers, even discovering new abilities, such as spreading his negative bioelectric shock to induce people in a state of manic frenzy, and imbuing items with his bioelectric touch. He now was faced with two distinct "personalities"; One was like a demon, hungry for revenge and destruction, and the other was a good, altruistic person. Norman faced a similar affliction and ironically turned one of his victims into such a person.

Martin Li aka Mr. Negative
When he was 18, Li got back to China, where he made his fortune in the shipping industry, becoming a largely known billionaire philantropist, coming back to New York a decade later. Enlightened by his dream to help people, he used his fortune to create the Food, Emergency Aid, Shelter and Training, or F.E.A.S.T., a network of shelters scattered throughout the city, where the homeless could find support. His efforts to help the poor represented Li's good side, but secretly, Li created his own criminal faction, the Demons. He intended to grow his power and have a criminal organization powerful enough to fight and topple over Norman's, hoping to expose him to the world. Thus, he became Mr. Negative. Otto Octavius was disgusted at Norman's GR-27 trials and quit Oscorp, although due to his non disclosure agreement, he was forbidden from revealing anything to the public and started working as an independent inventor/scientist.
The Green Goblin Manifests[]
Osborn started to dabble in crime and had become a reputable, secretive member of the underworld of New York. His wife, Emily Osborn, realized what a terrible, monstrous person her husband had become during her pregnancy, when she saw what people Osborn got mixed up with. Osborn didn't even stay with her when her water broke and she was sent off to the hospital for the child's birth. After Harry Osborn was born, she paid off the doctors at her hospital with an enormous amount of cash to fake her death to Norman, and tell him that she died upon giving birth to the child. She was given a laxative that numbed her pulse around the time Norman came, so when he checked on her corpse, it would appear she was dead. Emily then escaped from her life under Norman, living in a different city under another alias, freeing herself from the horrors of that man.
Unfortunately, Harry Osborn, was treated with no love and resentment by Norman as a result, since he thought that he was the reason his wife died. Harry grew up without proper parental affection and in solitude. Feeling angered by the 'death' of his wife and that rage making him feel the need to feel powerful and dominant, he decided to start retrials on the Super Soldier Serum again, since the Savage Lands experiments weren't working. He worked with Dr. Mendell Stromm in creating their own version of the Super Soldier serum from scratch. After a decade of work in that project, Osborn hastily consumed their version of the Super Soldier serum, and although it gave him enhanced strength, it also enhanced his craving for violence, aggression and evil even more. The serum amplified his Goblin persona and turned into a bloodthirsty, deranged monstrous shell of a human being. He kills Mendell Stromm in a fit of blind rage and uses his criminal enterprises to cover up his death.

Norman Osborn aka Green Goblin
Tempted by this newfound power which makes him feel as powerful as he thought the Goblin of his nightmares was, he creates a goblin-like suit, to literally try and become the Green Goblin of his nightmares, embracing his evil goblin split personality, equipping himself with his military paraglider technology and bomb technology. The Green Goblin would emerge once a blue moon, in one of his very rare outbursts, where 100% of his conscience would be taken over by the Goblin personality. During those times, he would don his Goblin attire and in his craving to exert his power over others and bring forth chaos, he would terrorize crime lords who would often try to intimidate Norman due to his foothold in the underworld and the Goblin would sometimes participate in the criminal underworld gang wars of New York infrequently over the years, and cause chaos and destruction. The existence of the Green Goblin itself was so horrifying to the criminal underworld and so mythical and terrifying and bizarre in nature, people would simply think it was an urban myth and that he didn't exist, given that the Goblin would only come out in its entirety once every few years, as Norman learnt to repress this side of him.
The Osborn Super Human Serum, as another side effect, also gave him amnesia and short-term memory loss, so every time he snapped out of his Goblin state, he would forget memories of his atrocities when he was under the 'influence of the Goblin.' This could also potentially be Norman's own mind wiping his clean slate as a coping mechanism for his rational personality, the true answer we will never know. Norman Osborn stopped his mischief as the Goblin for years and the Goblin wouldn't awaken until a certain spider-like person would come into the fray in the future, decades from this point in the story.
Hank Pym: Ant-Man[]

Hank Pym as Ant-Man in the late 20th Century
Hank Pym was born between 1941 and 1950. As a young promising scientist, Pym trained in the United States Army, before he was recruited into S.H.I.E.L.D. to work as a consultant. Pym eventually discovered a type of particles that could shorten the distance in between an object's molecules, effectively reducing its size, while maintaining its entire mass. Dubbing it the Pym Particles and utilizing the newly discovered particles, Pym developed a special suit that could shrink a human being into the size of an ant, while it maintained the true strength and resilience of the wearer. Using the Pym Particles, Pym created the Ant-Man Suit which had allowed him to do the aforementioned feats. Pym had also developed the EMP Communication Device, the device which allowed him to telepathically communicate with Ants.
Since then, Pym had gone around the world performing more covert missions for S.H.I.E.L.D, with this revolutionary technology as the hero Ant-Man. Pym had also begun working with both Elihas Starr and Bill Foster on researching the Quantum Realm. Bill Foster even became his sidekick and reverse engineered the effects of the Pym Particles to make matter larger instead of smaller, an ability which he was able to implement on his suit.
Going by the heroic name of Goliath, Bill could transform into the size of a giant and take down entire warships and helicarriers. Elihas however lacked the strength to engage in physical missions like Foster and Pym and it became clear that Starr had intended to steal Pym's plans for the Quantum Realm for himself and create his version of the Quantum Tunnel to access it. Once Pym discovered Starr's plans, he discredited him from all their research, and ruined his reputation in the scientific community, and treated him like filth in public, forcing Starr to go into exile as a punishment. Foster was angered that Pym could exhibit such classless behavior to his own colleague and severed ties with him, returning his Goliath suit too. During this time, Pym married Janet van Dyne, as the two of them soon had their daughter, who they had named Hope van Dyne. Janet was also a SHIELD agent and the both of them started working together in missions, after Janet got an Ant-Man suit especially designed for her by Pym, named the Wasp suit, that had wings and bioelectric blasters.

Janet Van Dyne as the Wasp
As the Ant-Man and the Wasp duo, Pym and Van Dyne went on many missions together. They eventually found out that Elihas Starr had moved to Argentina where he had a family of his own, including a daughter, but was also working on recreating the Quantum Tunnel that Pym was trying to build. SHIELD declared it was too dangerous under the potentally wrong hands and ordered Pym and Dyne to go after Starr and stop him. However, Starr caught on to their infiltration and in a frenzed bout, attempted to activate the machine in a rush. The machine, of course, did not work as intended, and caused a massive particle storm from the Quantum Realm to come in through the Tunnel's portal ring and cause molecular change to Starr. His head became massive and tumorous and his body started to distort in mass in different parts due to the size-altering unstable effects of his version of the unstable Pym Particles. This change in his body led to Pym unaffectionally calling him Egghead. Unbeknownst to the Pyms who had left after reporting the explosion of the Quantum Tunnel, Eliha's daughter Ava Starr was present in the vicinity of the Quantum particle explosion, and became inundated with quantum energy.

Ava Starr aka Ghost as an adult, in the 21st century, almost 20 years after her quantum accident.
When the Fire Department arrived, they found Ava in the rubble, however, they were unable to touch Starr as she had become intangible from the accident. Starr was placed in an orphanage and SHIELD found her and decided to take in the child who due to the quantum accident, could render herself intangible, slowing down her aging, allowing her to phase through objects and generate extreme amounts of power. After more than a decade of training her, S.H.I.E.L.D. began taking advantage of her powers, gave her a suit that could keep her unstable molecules contained, enlisting her as a stealth operative under the moniker of Ghost. This was completely hidden from Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne as SHIELD realized that they would object to this, perhaps, unethical recruitment of a child into doing their missions, so they kept it a secret from them.
Tragedy wouldn't just strike for the Starrs, it would come for the Pyms too. Later, during a mission to stop a Soviet Union missile, Hank couldn't do anything when Janet seemingly sacrificed herself while going subatomic to disable a bomb, and ending up getting trapped within the Quantum Realm, with seemingly no way to save her. Pym was heartbroken and traumatized by his failure to save her. He promptly changed directions and had founded Pym Technologies while also retiring as the Ant-Man, vowing never to use his invention again, turning his back on S.H.I.E.L.D. as he had found that Howard Stark and other SHIELD affiliates had tried to recreate his original designs without success. Howard was actually able to understand and recreate his work, but after seeing Pym's disappointment in SHIELD's practices, he decided to not pursue after recreating the Pym Particles anymore. It wouldn't matter even if he did try to recreate the work down the line, as he was shortly killed by the Winter Soldier in the 90s as we all know.
Tony Stark, Iron Man & The Arms Race[]

Tony Stark aka Iron Man in his current armor
Anthony Edward "Tony" Stark, the billionaire industrialist and the CEO of Stark Industries, a multi billion-dollar arms dealing corporation inherited this company from his father, Howard Stark, who was also a founding member of SHIELD. A brash but brilliant inventor, Stark was self-described as a genius, billionaire, playboy, and philanthropist. With his great wealth and exceptional technical knowledge, Stark was one of the world's most powerful men following the deaths of his parents and enjoyed his self-indulgent, cocky, careless, irresponsible playboy lifestyle for many years until he was kidnapped by a terrorist organization in Afghanistan with a fellow scientist Ho Yinsen, while demonstrating a fleet of Jericho missiles to buyers there. He was mortally wounded by the terrorists. Desperate, he and Ho Yinsen created a mini arc reactor energy source for his body, like an advanced pacemaker, that would keep his heart beating and give his body the necessary energy and sustenance to survive the horrible wounds. The terrorists commanded them to make deadly weapons for them or otherwise they would be killed.
With his life on the line and suddenly thrust into a life and death situation after years of living in luxury, Stark and Yinsen created an armored suit which he used to escape his captors. However, Yinsen sacrificed himself to aid Stark's escape, which has since haunted him. Upon returning home, he came back a changed man due to the experience, and realized how dangerous the weapons he was selling were in the wrong hands. Therefore, he permanently shut down the sale and trade of weapons from his company and instead shifted it to focus on common appliance as well as innovative and experimental technology and for environmental purposes. He started creating several more armors personally to use against terrorists after his weapons, as well as on criminals, and on Obadiah Stane, his company mentor who turned against Stark and attempted to murder him with an armored suit of his own. Following his fight against Stane, Stark decided to use his wealth, powers and creations for good, realizing he can do so much more for the world, and publicly revealed himself as the armored superhero Iron Man.
Fresh off from defeating enemies all over the world, Stark found himself dying due to his own Arc Reactor poisoning his body all the while he reluctantly agreed to serve as a consultant for S.H.I.E.L.D. due to their history with his father where he used his position to upgrade their technology while he began a relationship with Pepper Potts. An arms race begun around the world where other nations and arms dealers were scrambling to replicate his Iron Man technology and tensions of warfare begun. Due to the influx of Iron Man copycats, a lot of malicious people wielding similar armored weaponized suits threatened Stark, including Russian arms dealers Anton Vanko aka Whiplash and Crimson Dynamo, both known enemies and rivals of his father, envious of Stark Industries and their foothold on the arms industry in the past, not to mention the notorious Justin Hammer, the direct US competitor of Stark Industries, with his Hammer Industries creating Iron Hammer robots. Tony Stark bested and defeated all of these folks and stopped the replication of his technology.

Jim Rhodes aka War Machine.
However, as a compromise for his dangerous activities in such weapons and technologies, he decided to cooperate with the United States, and gave his best friend in the military, Jim Rhodes, an Iron Man armor of his own in the interests of the nation's defense. Rhodes was an officer with the United States Air Force and liaison between the military in the Department of Acquisitions and Stark Industries, where he became close friends with Tony Stark. Given the codename as the War Machine, this Iron Man armor granted to Rhodes was used in his military missions, and he has had several further incarnations of the armor.

Jim Rhodes in his Iron Patriot armor
After Stark publicly revealed himself to be the one behind the Iron Man suit, Rhodes found himself under pressure from the United States Congress and the military to take possession of his armors and seize production, however, he saw how his friend had changed for the better, and wanted to use the armors for good causes, and therefore supported Stark in his endeavors and helped protect Stark's assets and suits from being seized by the government. Although as the War Machine, Rhodes found a lot of success in his military missions, once he became famous across America, he was met with negative backlash because a lot of people found his monochrome suit to look intimidating, making him apparently come across as 'threatening' and 'scary' just because he didn't spray paint his own suit to a flashy color like Stark did. As a result of this backlash, he temporarily operated as the Iron Patriot, recoloring a new version of his armor with bright, American colors. He temporarily held up the Iron Patriot moniker before shortly taking back his own title and armor as the War Machine again, since the Iron Patriot armor was stolen by terrorists and used for morally dubious actions, ironically making the very suit he created to gain trust from the public, look even more untrustworthy.

Yondu, leader of the Ravagers
Peter Quill, a human space pirate who is also known as Star-Lord, is able to track down the Power Stone contained inside an orb in a lost planet, and betrays the Ravagers, his own space pirate crew, led by Yondu Obfonteri, to sell it to the highest bidder for his own personal profit. He is, however, arrested by the Nova Corps, alongside crooks Rocket Racoon & Groot, independent pirates who want to sell the Stone themselves and Gamora; the dangerous assassin and adoptive daughter of Thanos who was sent to collect the Stone in behalf of her father. They are all trapped in a prison where they meet inmate Drax the Destroyer, who is vengeful against Ronan the Accuser, a Kree commander who killed his family and whole race, leading him to go on a murderous spree across the galaxy before being imprisoned.

Ronan the Accuser
The aforementioned criminals break out of prison with the Power Stone in their possession. Gamora intends to use the Power Stone to kill her father who killed off her race too, while Drax wants to use it to kill Ronan the Accuser. Peter, Rocket and Groot meanwhile want to sell it off for a shared profit. Ronan The Accuser, meanwhile learns of the Power Stone's theft, and chases after these ragtag team of criminals. He is able to seize the Stone from them and imbues it with his warhammer, deciding to use the stone to start conquering worlds, starting with Xandar, the planet he is vengeful against, since the Nova Corps killed off his tyrannical ancestors.
Quill and his ragteam team of criminals convinces the Ravagers and the Nova Corps, along with Nova Prime, Rasheed Haider, to fight against Ronan who would otherwise destroy the galaxy with the Power Stone. Ronan attacks Xandar, and Quill, his ragtag crew, the Ravagers and the Nova Corps are able to defend Xandar from Ronan. Nebula, another adoptive daughter/assassin of Thanos, is sent by Thanos to kill Gamora for trying to betray him, but Gamora defeats her and spares Nebula, who escapes, deciding to leave her abusive adoptive father Thanos' tyranny too. Quill is able to seize the Power Stone and uses it to kill Ronan. Unfortunately, Groot sacrifices himself in the battle, but spawns a child, which Rocket names Groot Jr.
