History
Mariano is a long time Mercenary. post Ultron he aligned himself with the Villamos Cartel and worked for them a couple of years. When James Rogers came to Colombia he fought with Machete multiple times. And each time the Super-Soldier got the better of him. Currently El Dragon is in S.H.I.E.L.D. custody.[1][2]
Powers and Abilities
Powers
Naturally Machete doesn't have any powers, but when he uses Mutant Growth Hormone he gains a wide assortment of abilities.
Superhuman Strength: When using MGH Machete can lift over 2 tons, and it's clear that he hasn't hit his limit. It's not clear how much he could lift but it's suggested to be a quite a bit more than than that.
Superhuman Durability: When using MGH his body is able to withstand much stronger attacks than normal, allowing him to hold his own against superhumans.
Energy Projection: When using MGH, Machete has limited energy projection. It's unknown what type of energy it is but he is able to release energy on impact of hitting something. For example if he punches someone in the face he can release energy at that very moment which can have very destructive results.
