March City is a city in New York, located off of Lake Ontario.
History
March City was founded early on in America's history: originally March Town. At first, it was a farm town, used for its rich soil and easy breeding grounds. However, as America progressed, so did it. It eventually evolved into a decent sized city. Although, it may have become a city, it was still regarded as having that "home town feeling".
Due to its untapped potential, certain research companies took root there, dominating the markets; they made sure to keep the city's potential a secret. Some organizations who setup in March City were the Stride Facility and later the New Revolution Corporation.
March City acted as the home to local heroes, Genome and Floret. Although petty crime ceased, the sinister research that took place at New Rev bred numerous super-villains. Genome and Floret were then forced to recruit new, striving heroes.
Downtown
March City has a downtown area where most business occurs. It is located at the center of March, and is host to both Stride and New Rev. Various other small businesses also run in the Downtown area.
Location
It is disputed on the location of March City. All that is known is that it borders Lake Ontario. Although the exact location is never revealed at first, it was discovered that is replaced half of Saint Lawrence and some of Jefferson.
