Lego's Marvel Superheroes revolves around a basic plot of superheroes against supervillains, with unique background stories and celebrity cameos, such as Samuel L. Jackson, Taylor Swift, more. The series is mostly based on the Avengers, however, some episodes are entirely focused on a single character. However, this animated show is not intended purely for kids, as it contains mild mature references and intense action.

Rather than focusing entirely on action and the heroics, this series has stories with varying genres. One episode may be an ordinary beam em' down episode while the other can be a non-fight comedy episode. This is a mockumentary show, which draws cinematography inspiration from 'The Office.'  So basically, the whole series is a sitcom.
