History[]

Early Years[]

Born as the second child and second daughter of the rich Manhattanite Bishop family, Katherine Elizabeth "Kate" Bishop (born February, 2002) grew up wanting for not. She was also very more active and athletic than her elder sister Susan. Due to this her parents encouraged her to participate in and play various sports. Where Kate ended up winning several medals and earning several trophies. Though only casually, since every sport Kate participated in she dropped just as quickly, because she was truly never passionate about them, or any task she had done in life. Though that all changed in the summer of 2010, when during what would become known as the Battle of New York she was saved from getting killed by a Chitauri by none other than Hawkeye who simply used a bow and arrow. In the aftermath of this event Kate found herself with a deep and lasting impression of Hawkeye, and inspired by his actions. As such she deemed him her favorite superhero. Then when she learned her father had died during the invasion she resolved herself to watch over and protect her mother and sister's from now on. As such she soon took up a bow and arrow herself to be ready against future threats and emergencies.

Young Avengers[]

In addition to taking up archery Kate also began learning various other skills such as martial arts, fencing, and even lock-picking. She also noticed after the Chitauri invasion how good she and her family truly had it, since many others had been left homeless, and as such began volunteering at soup kitchens the moment she could. Though she never stopped preparing in regards to becoming a hero. Which she got a chance to actually become in February 2015 when a young man named Nathaniel K. Richards contacted her and asked her to be part a young superhero team he was putting together along with Elijah Bradley,William Kaplan, Theodore Altman, and his friend Jonas. An offer which Kate accepted. Thus she soon found herself getting to know her fellow teen superheroes and working with them to defeat a threat known as the Growing Man. After which they were complimented for their efforts by many, but especially the Avengers themselves. Who subsequently allowed Kate and her new teammates and friends to use their old base Avengers Mansion as their own. This is how Kate found herself as a founding member of the Young Avengers. As well closer to her personal hero Hawkeye.
