I am the Super-Son. A clone made from the combined DNA of Super-Soldier and Lois Lane. I was created to replace Super-Soldier should he perish, to destroy him should he turn from the light.

History

Origins

Leopold Zod was a clone of Super-Soldier and his ex-girlfriend Lois Lane created by the Hydra scientist Arnim Zod. He was implanted with false memories, giving him basic education and subconsciously made him a sleeper agent. Armin was inspired to create Leopold by Spider-Boy, Project Cadmus' attempt at a Super-Soldier clone. Unlike their geneticists; however, he was able to successfully give his creation telekinetic abilities.

The young Zod was found in a test tube by Super-Soldier and Dark Claw when the World's Fiercest were knocking down Hydra bases. Hacking into the terrorist cell's computers, Dark Claw discovered documents that claimed he was the illegitimate son of his genetic templates, unaware they were falsified. The boy appeared to suffer from amnesia, not knowing his origins nor his abilities.

Despite the pair being highly suspicious of him, Clark decided to take him in. Jon was enrolled in Metropolis High School and moonlighted as his father's sidekick, "Super-Son."
