Jonathan Franklin Murdock (Earth-3116)

Radioactively Enhanced Physiology: Jackie's father Matt was originally enhanced by the radioactive isotope which later blinded him. It gave him superhuman senses, agility, reflexes, balance, and etc. As a result Jackie inherited these abilities naturally but also has his eyesight. Murdock's nervous system has also increased some of his abilities to peak human level.

Superhuman Sensory System: As a baby Jackie first gained his powers. The inherited hypersenses abruptly appeared and he was unable to adjust for a long while. He took in way too much sensory input and as a result would bruise at the slightest touch and the simple scent of perfume would make his nose bleed. Eventually with the help of Reed Richards his hypersenses were suppressed though they had caused him psychological scars. When his training began with his mother this suppression was forcibly dealt with and now as result his senses are as keen as his father's once were. ^[1]

Superhuman Touch: Jackie's sense of touch is just as strong as his father's once was. As a child just the merest touch from another person could cause bruising on him as he could feel every little thing. His sense of touch is so acute that he can easily read by touch. His skin is so sensitive that with concentration he can feel minute temperature and pressure changes in the atmosphere around him. A side effect of his sense of touch is Murdock's ability to manipulate his muscles and internal organs. The sense of touch is not just external, but internal too (central nervous system), thereby giving him the ability to have total body control, increasing his strength and speed to peak human levels, his agility and reflexes to superhuman levels, and also giving him the ability to numb himself to pain.

Peak Human Strength: Thanks to his control over his central nervous system due to his many years of martial arts training, Jackie can increase his strength to peak human level. He is strong enough to push over a SUV without trouble, pick up another man and throw him. He can break bones with a single kick or punch. He supposedly can lift at least 450lbs, and that doesn't seem to be his peak. Supposedly he could lift at least 100lbs more.

Peak Human Speed: Similar to his strength, Daredevil can increase his speed to peak human level. He is believed to be able to sprint two city blocks in a few seconds, He has surpassed the speed of Olympic level athletes and he believes his ability can rival that of Captain America, ^[2] though it's not sure if this claim has any merit.

Superhuman Reflexes: Trained to the maximum by his mother Jackie's reflexes are borderline superhuman. In his training he managed to dodge three arrows shot at him at near point blank range. He consistently evaded his mother's attacks who is regarded as one of the greatest assassins in the entire world, though she is past her prime. He managed to catch Sai's thrown by agents of the Hand and dodge gunfire. He can react in the fraction of a second.

Superhuman Agility: Jackie's agility allows him to perform Olympic level feats, flipping and contorting his body in ways a normal man could not. It's allows him to at times dodge gunshots while in mid-air.

Enhanced Stamina: Jackie's stamina is similarly enhanced, he trained underwater and managed to hold his breath for long periods of time. At peak capacity, he can physically exert himself for several hours before showing any signs of fatigue.

Enhanced Endurance: Similarly to his father Jackie has a very high endurance level allowing him to fight despite immense pain. During his training his mother ensured that he would not be defeated by his own pain, by ensuring his tolerance to it was high, putting him through immensely difficult situations with the Hand.

Superhuman Smell: Murdock's sense of smell is so acute that he can distinguish between identical twins at twenty feet by minute differences in smell. He can detect odors of an atmospheric concentration of thirty parts per million. Furthermore, his ability to remember smells enables him to identify any person he has spent at least five minutes with by smell alone, no matter how he or she might try to camouflage his or her natural body odor. His powers of concentration are such that he can focus upon a single person's smell and follow it through a crowd of people at a distance of fifty feet.

Enhanced Tracking: Jackie can track others down easily via various means, ranging from scents to footprints. With enough experience, he can follow tracks that are days or even weeks old.^[3]

Illusion Awareness: Jackie's superhuman senses enable him to remain aware at all times of the true reality around him, potentially seeing through any optical and/or mental illusions that others attempt to deceive him with.

Superhuman Hearing: Murdock's sense of hearing enables him to detect an acoustic pressure change of one decibel at a pressure level of seven decibels (whereas the lowest threshold for average human hearing is twenty decibels). He can hear a person's heartbeat at a distance of over twenty feet, or people whispering on the other side of a standard soundproofed wall. With practice Jackie can force himself to completely block out certain sounds like his own breathing and heartbeat. His father could also use his sense as an aid in processing, filtering, and interpreting the feedback to get a three dimensional picture of his surroundings, this is something Jackie considers slightly useless as in most situations his normal eyesight works just fine.

Superhuman Eyesight: Unlike his father Jackie gained his powers, but retained his eyesight when he did as he did not gain them in a freak accident. Because of this his eyes were similarly enhanced to superhuman levels. Jackie's eyesight are far beyond the human definition of perfect allowing him to see with amazing detail. His eyes are so good that he can see at least 7km away without a problem. His eyes adapt to the night and underwater allowing him to function in nearly any climate. These eyes allow Jackie to track almost anything, even things moving at beyond human speeds with perfect precision. It's unknown how far it goes, but Jackie has noted that he hasn't seen something he couldn't track. Jackie's insane eyesight also has another benefit working in tandem with his radar sense and sonar sense giving him the power of Absolute Vision. Those in the Hand believe Jackie's eye's aren't done developing and he might be able to see other planes like X-Rays or even the astral plane.

Lie Detection: By listening, feeling, and smelling, Murdock can tell whether a person is lying by sweat, changes in body temperature, and heartbeats (though he can be fooled by a pacemaker and those able to keep calm under pressure.)^[4]

Sonar Sense: Very much like his radar sense, Jackie can emit sonar waves, that are actually "echoes" that bounce off objects in his surrounding environment, and listen to the echoes that return from various objects near him, and use these echoes to locate and identify the objects. Alternately, he can use ambient sounds to do the same. Since this ability isn't based on sight/light, invisibility is useless against him, as are most forms of camouflage.

Superhuman Taste: Murdock's sense of taste enables him to detect the number of grains of salt on a pretzel. His ability to remember tastes enables him to determine every ingredient of a food or drink he tastes, as long as there are at least twenty milligrams of that substance present.

Superhuman Balance: It is a common misconception that balance isn't a sense, but Murdock's balance centers give him equilibrium nearly on par with Spider-Girl's. His equilibrium is so great that he could balance on his hands and fight with his feet.

Telepathic Immunity: Due to training with his mother Jackie has a limited ability to resist psychic intrusions to stop his mind from being read. However powerful telepaths like Psylocke, Cascade, or Mind Witch could break his defenses with little trouble.

Radar Sense: A form of echolocation via low radio wave projection, according to one theory; an energy wave within certain portions of the electromagnetic spectrum. The signal emanates radio waves from regions of his brain, after which it travels outward, bounces off objects around him, and returns to receiving regions of his brain. With this ability, Murdock can synthesize a very close analogue of three-dimensional three hundred and sixty degree human sight.

Proximity Sense: An offshoot to radar sense, this ability is the combination of all other senses (excluding radar sense) and can allow Matt to reconstruct his surroundings.

Person Identification: All of Murdock's senses help him identify people by the specific patterns of their heartbeat, smell, touch, sound, and even radar appearance, as it allows him to "see" through objects, specifically clothes (though albeit obscure).

Absolute Vision: By using his superhuman eyesight, his radar sense, and sonar sense at the same time Jackie can achieve a state of absolute vision. In this state of vision Jackie has pure 360 degree vision allowing him to have "eyes at the back of his head". With this vision Jackie can easily take on multiple assailants from many sides, avoid long ranged snipers, or close ranged combatants. His visual prowess is so strong it's been dubbed by the Hand as the ultimate defense. With this form of visual prowess Jackie's vision is enhanced microscopically to see things the human eye can't. In this form of vision time almost seems to slow down giving him a form of accelerated perception allowing him to perceive enemy attacks with ease and track things to fast for normal humans. His visual prowess puts him up there with the strongest fighters in the entire world. When using this ability Jackie's eyes take a reddish color. However for Jackie, absolute vision takes more power than anything else in his arsenal. It is a move that takes up a lot of stamina and so Jackie can't use it for too long (aka hours on end) However it is believed that with enough practice Jackie will get used to the power and be able to use his ultimate defense at all times. ^[5]

Abilities

Master Martial Artist: Daredevil is a master of hand-to-hand combat, trained rigorously from the time he was just a small boy in the art of fighting. His mother, one of the best fighters in the world, trained him extensively in over 10 forms of combat, Jackie learned from the Hand the ability to fight using extreme stealth, giving him the ability to "vanish" completely. The rest Jackie learned from travelling the globe. Jackie is completely trained in the art of killing knowing the best ways to end someone's life. His martial art prowess is so great that Elektra believed that Jackie had matched her fighting prowess at just 15. Jackie is also able to fight in complete darkness and without his eyesight. To ensure he could make the best use of his powers, he was trained extensively without his eyesight for months at time forced to "live blind" and adapt fully to his powers to fully unlock his visual prowess. This combined with his Absolute Vision puts Jackie in a tier with only the greatest Martial Artists in the world.

Expert Tracker: With the aid of his hyper-senses, Murdock is able to track objects and people from miles away with ease.

Master Acrobat: He is a superb athlete, gymnast, acrobat, aerialist and almost without peer due to the many years of constant training and exercise.

Weapons Proficiency: Jackie is highly proficient in wielding various martial art weapons through his ninjutsu training, such as swords (katana), chain weapons, stick and staff weapons, combat knives of all types, both ancient and modern military style, and projectiles such as shurikens, throwing knives, bows, and even firearms.

Expert Marksman: He is very skilled marksman, which makes him capable of throwing his billy clubs with great accuracy. Murdock is also skilled with most projectile-like weaponry such as throwing knives, shurikens, and darts, as well as archery. This is aided by his eyesight which allows him to throw and shoot better than most humans.

Master of Stealth: Due to his training as a ninja assassin, Jackie can blend in with the shadows and remain undetected by most humans.

Pressure point locator: Jackie can locate different pressure points on a person's body with his Absolute Vision. He can incapacitate, paralyze, severely injure, or kill a person.

Strength level

Jackie has extraordinary physical strength for a "normal" human. At his current peak he can lift up to 450lbs. since Daredevil is able to control his nerve system, he can amplify his strength to peak human levels.

Weaknesses

Sense Precision: Daredevil's extent to discern pictures or video images are limited, and he can only guess at colors based on the amount of heat they are absorbing or reflecting.

Superhuman Sense Disruption: Daredevil's superhuman senses render him extraordinarily vulnerable to odors and/or excessive noise, which can temporarily weaken his radar sense. Under extreme circumstances he can be easily immobilized, suffer great pain, and/or be left disorientated. Once the disruptive effects wear off, Daredevil's radar sense is able to return to its normal calibration

Radar Sense Disruption: Though uncommon, in unique situations where multiple objects, sounds, temperatures, and smells are in close proximity, Daredevil's radar has been known to fail, leaving him to rely on his other senses

Transportation: None known.
Weapons: Billy Club: Daredevil's billy club is a multi-purpose weapon. It has a retractable microphone, a miniature tape recorder, chamber for firing projectiles, and a wire cable which allows the club to be used as a grappling hook. It can also be used as either as a baton or a cable.

Twin Sai: At times Jackie has been known to carry around Twin Sai, long daggers with narrow blades and twin blade guards. He can use them to slash, stab, and throw. His Sai are protected with synaptic snare with biometric locks keyed to her nervous system that will deliver a shock that paralyzes any other person who touches it for sixty seconds, to ensure nobody can use them against her again
