History[]
Early Life[]

Young Jimmy
James Howlett was born in 1909 into a hereditary military family. Howlett's father died in the First World War and the boy was left with his mother, who lives very poorly. James's mother tried for her son's sake, but she couldn't earn an honest living. Therefore, she became a prostitute, trying to hide her type of activity from her son. Having matured enough to start working, James began to earn extra money here and there, trying for the sake of his mother, who, due to her age, was no longer in demand as before. One day, when James' mother found a client for the first time in a long time, James witnessed the client's rude treatment of his mother. James broke off and rushed at the man with his fists, beating him unconscious. The next day, the same client visited James' mother again with his friends and stabbed her to death. James, coming home and seeing his mother dead, attacked the killers, but they beat him and threw him into a pigsty at one of the nearby farms, hoping that the pigs would eat the unconscious boy. James managed to recover in time and barely escape from the pigsty and his hometown.
Teenage years[]
Wandering through the woods unconscious, James was able to get to the train station. Passengers waiting for the train were disdainful of the bloodied and dirty guy who fell unconscious at their feet. Only a girl of the same age named Rose dared to approach James. Rose pulled James away from the rails and tried to help him. After missing her train, she stayed with him, bringing him to his senses and helping him get back on his feet. Rose even paid double the price to the cabman to get them to the nearest town as soon as possible. Arriving in the mining town, James remained unconscious for some time, and during this time Rose had already managed to leave, leaving James only a letter. James was forced to stay in a mining town in order to earn the services of a doctor and medicines. James soon found out where Rose was going, so he continued working at the mine to earn money for a train ticket.
A year later, James worked off the debt and earned not only a ticket, but also new clothes, although not of the best quality. After leaving the mine, James took the train to Rose. When he found her, he discovered that the girl came from a very prosperous family living on her own ranch. Rose herself seems to be in love with the groom's son. James, having no money for a return ticket, gets a job as a handyman at the ranch, and while the groom's son looks after the horses and gets closer to Rose, James, seeing all this, can only clean the stable manure.
Feeling feelings for Rose, James decides to make the first move. Picking flowers in a nearby field, he gives them to Rose, which the groom's son sees. The groom's son angers the horses as revenge and lets them out of the stables when James cleans up near them. Almost getting hit by hooves, James realizes what's what, and attacks the groom's son with his fists. The same one accidentally falls on a pitchfork and dies. Rose, who has arrived at this moment, considers James a murderer, but out of feelings for him, she drives him away until the parents arrive, who would definitely kill James. James escapes from the ranch and returns to the mine, walking there.
Next years[]
James spends the next three years at the mine, earning himself the nickname Wolverine for the way he furiously digs into the ores. James himself is just trying to lose himself in his work. This doesn't help, and he soon talks to the mine boss. He, soaked in his father's love for James, invites the guy to a bar, where they drink together, and James soon begins to drink more often. Once drunk so much that he was simply kicked out of work, James drunkenly took all his money and bought a ticket, after which, drinking, he went to the Rose Ranch. There he found completely different people. However, they told him that the previous owners had moved to the nearest town and James had gone after them. Sobering up on the way, James questioned the wisdom of his decision, but there was nowhere to go back.

Drunk James
When James gets to town, he finds that he doesn't even have enough money to get drunk again, and he gets a job at a local factory as a worker, spending his nights on the street and spending his entire salary on drinking. Over the weekend, James gets drunk and searches for Rose, but finds her living with a man from abroad. Drunk, James breaks into Rose's house, but the girl still persuades him to leave. James leaves and continues to work at the factory until Rose's new husband finds him on his own. The man claims that James has offended his honor by his appearance, so he challenges him to a duel. Of course, the duel is out of town, in secret from everyone. James is hesitant, but still agrees and comes to the duel drunk. James shoots first. Rose, who has learned about the duel, arrives at the scene and at the last moment shields her new husband with her body. James kills her with his own shot.
Rose's husband tries to kill James and shoots him emotionally, but does not kill him. Wounded in the shoulder, James survives and escapes in a panic attack. Jumping on the first train he sees, James runs into a troupe of circus performers from the Creed family. Over time, James begins to have feelings for trainer Clara Creed, but James develops a strong friendship with her older brother Victor.
Mutant[]
During the Second World War, James and Victor join the army. By this point, part of the Creed family had either died of old age or died during accidental accidents while performing tricks, so the remaining Clara and Victor disbanded the circus. James did not fight for long, and by 1941, he and Victor were court-martialed for the murder of their commander. Instead of being imprisoned or executed, they were both enrolled in the Weapons X project. The experimental subjects of the project were exposed to X-serum. Clara, who worked as a nurse on the battlefields, also became an experimental subject. At first, she just watched how the mutations went in the test subjects, but then, when her brother confessed that he was scared, she injected herself with the serum so that he wouldn't be lonely.
James gained regeneration and animal senses. He lacked weapons, so Canadian scientists implanted six steel claws in his forearms, three in each hand. Over time, steel proved to be not at its best, so shortly before being captured by Japanese soldiers, James received adamantium claws. After that, James, after a night with Clara, was sent on a mission, during which he was caught by the Japanese and captured near Hiroshima. Lady Deathstrike was created from his DNA. In captivity, James also received an adamantium skeleton from the Japanese, as the Japanese wanted to brainwash him and use him for their own purposes, but they did not have time to do this when the bombing with atomic bombs began. Thanks to the new skeleton and the sufficient distance from the explosion, James survived, but the burned skin and part of the muscles caused him such a severe pain shock that after losing consciousness and recovering, James found that he no longer remembered anything.
Logan[]
After recovering, the man began to wander around, finding dead American prisoners of war among the ruins. Among them, he found a badge on which everything except the name Logan had been erased. Having failed to find the owner of the token, he decided that it was his token, so now he began to call himself Logan, going to the epicenter of the disaster. The radiation had a negative effect on him, so at times he lost consciousness, vomited blood, and sometimes his skin peeled off, but all these symptoms passed in a matter of minutes. Caught by American scientists, Logan was taken to one of their research centers, where the effects of radiation on humans were studied. After taking a sample of Logan's DNA, they decided to study him, but then Logan remembered the Japanese scientists who also wanted to study and investigate him. After stealing a sample of his blood, Logan escaped, getting as far away from Hiroshima as possible and soon stopping in one of the Japanese villages.

"Forest Spirit"
In the village, Logan met a girl named Mariko Yashida, who was the only one who did not treat the stranger with caution. After giving him some water and some food, Mariko immediately left, returning to her home. Not daring to enter the village, Logan began to live in the forest, hunting animals and sometimes bringing their meat and skins home to Mariko's family. So a few days passed when the funeral suddenly began in the village while Logan was in the woods. When he saw that Mariko was burying her father, who died from radiation, that night he secretly crept into her room to support her. Soon he began to visit her secretly at night, avoiding intimacy with her, but supporting her after the loss of her father.
After some time, the American military arrived in the village, looking for Logan, who had escaped from them. While hiding in the forest, he framed the locals, who were interrogated. When the military took on Mariko, Logan came out of the woods and attacked the military, killing them. The villagers, delighted by the protection of this "forest spirit", began to revere Logan as their protector. So Logan stayed in Japan for a few more years, starting a family with Mariko, in which none of the children, however, inherited his abilities.
Howling Commandos[]
By the mid-1950s, Victor Creed had arrived in Japan, sent by SHIELD to capture and bring James Howlett to the United States. Using rumors among the local population, Victor arrived in the village where Logan, Mariko, and a couple of children, a boy and a girl, had settled in. Logan refused to leave, and then Victor attacked his family, threatening to kill them. Logan then agreed to travel with him to the United States, but in exchange demanded a guarantee that Logan would be able to return to his family. Victor agreed and they both returned to the USA. There, Logan was trapped by the SHIELD and brainwashed. The zombified Logan, along with Victor, Frank Castle and Nicholas Fury, formed a special unit engaged in operations in Vietnam during the war.
After learning that Logan had returned, Clara, who had given birth to a mutant daughter from him, arrived with her young daughter in Vietnam, where she met Logan. Becoming a threat to the operation, Clara was eliminated by Fury and Castle. Logan, not remembering her, had no problems with this, but Victor rebelled after his sister's death, took his surviving niece and ran away. Logan remained in Vietnam for another twenty years until the very end of the war. After returning to the United States, Logan was sent on a mission to eliminate Victor Creed. Brainwashed, Logan went on a mission without any scruples or problems. After finding Creed in Canada, he attacked him, but his adopted daughter Victoria stood up for Creed, who rebuffed her real father, Logan, although she did not know this. In the fight between Logan and Victoria, Victoria suddenly became very similar to her mother, Logan's second love. This brought him to his senses and he remembered his life in Japan. Leaving Victor and Victoria alone, Logan ran away.
Back to Japan[]
Upon returning to Japan, Logan discovered that Mariko had died from a radiation dose she had received years earlier. Logan's family moved away, leaving the family home empty. In search of his children from Mariko, Logan traveled to Hiroshima, where he soon discovered that his children were working for the Yakuza. That's how he met his daughter, who is an assassin. Recognizing her father, the girl attacked him out of resentment and almost killed him, but thanks to his regeneration, Logan was able to gain the upper hand in the fight and stun his daughter. After talking to her when she came to her senses, Logan decided to deal with the Yakuza and free his children from the captivity of the Japanese mafia.
Having started his bloody path over the heads, Logan began to get closer and closer to the head of the Yakuza cell in the restored Hiroshima. And Logan was able to get to the head of the Yakuza, who was guarded by Logan's son. Daken Yashida and Logan faced off in battle, but Daken wasn't going to lose. Logan had to kill his son to kill the head of the Yakuza and give freedom at least to his daughter. But she wasn't going to go back to her normal life. Instead, she took over the shards of the Yakuza and led them. Logan, disappointed by the whole situation, decided to visit Mariko's grave and leave.
Alpha Flight[]
Returning to Canada to reunite with the remnants of his family, Victoria, Logan discovered that he and Victor had joined the Canadian government Alpha Flight unit. Logan accepted the offer from Captain Canada and he himself became part of the team under the nickname Wolverine.
X-Men[]

James as Xavier's ally
A few years later, Charles Xavier came to Logan, with whom they had once participated in the same Weapons X project. Charles, unable to move, but able to communicate telepathically, has been running a school for gifted children for fifteen years, providing the government with mutants under their control. Now Charles is interested in being released from government control and is looking for supporters. Logan agrees, and Victoria decides to help him. Together, they and Charles, who managed to recruit several more mutants from other countries, arrive in the United States, where they begin their guerrilla war against the SHIELD and the X-Men under their control. Charles, who shares leadership with Eric Lehnsherr, calls his team the Brotherhood of Mutants.
By next year, the number of followers of the Brotherhood of Mutants is growing and the government launches a project of sentinels designed by Howard Stark. In the USA, a real hunt for mutants begins, and even those who serve the government are outlawed and all of them are subject to arrest or destruction. For the next 13 years, the Brotherhood of Mutants hides and fights the state from the shadows. Everything ends with the last battle, when the telepath Jean Grey, having merged with the cosmic entity Phoenix, destroys all sentinels on the territory of the state and frees all mutants, raising from the ocean floor a part of Lemuria, consisting of the Genosha archipelago, which includes the island of Krakoa, on which most of the mutants settle. Atlantis is also discovered on one of the islands, and the Atlantean people, led by Namor, awaken from their slumber. Logan gives up the fight and decides to return to Japan, giving his costume to his daughter Victoria.
Last Years[]
Since 1993, Logan has been living in Japan, having restored the Yashida family home in a village where there is no one else but him. Sometimes his daughter and his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren visit him.
Time Travel[]
One day, an elderly James, vacationing in Japan, was caught by Mojo and transported to the past as a new Mojo project in which superheroes and supervillains had to survive in other times. James soon discovered that he had been transported back in time with Spider-Man. Surviving, the heroes split up and Logan began to live with a tribe of primitive people. After getting close to one of the local women, Logan conceived a child. Logan named the soon-to-be-born girl Selene shortly before he and Spider-Man were transported further back in time to the Hyborian Era. There they both began to work together: while Logan was fighting, Spider-Man played the role of his squire. Immediately after, they both went to the Middle Ages, where Logan, wearing a wolf skin, began to survive among a pack of wolves. In the eighteenth century, Logan became a pirate with a big black beard. After his apparent death, he fled to America, where Peter lived. In the same place, Logan, having slept with a courtesan, left behind a legacy.
Already in the nineteenth century, Logan met his own descendant, whom he recognized as his own ancestor. Later, he began to live with a tribe of Indians, and after a while he found himself in a post-apocalyptic future, wandering through the desert with Spider-Man. After the future, they both returned to the present.
Secret Invasion[]
Logan encountered the Skrull invasion in Japan. After learning from Victoria that the mutant leader Jean Grey had recently turned out to be a Skrull, James decided to visit his family in Hiroshima. There he was attacked by ninja working for the Yakuza. Deciding to figure out what was going on, Logan got to his daughter, who heads a local Japanese mafia cell. Discerning light notes in her scent that were not typical of her, Logan realized that a Skrull was hiding behind his daughter. The Skrull, realizing that he had been discovered, ordered the remaining ninjas and common soldiers to deal with Logan. The already aged mutant could not defeat an entire army and lost consciousness in battle from his injuries.
After regaining consciousness some time later in some laboratory, Logan witnessed the transformation of one of the Skrulls into an exact copy of Logan. In addition, one of the Skrull scientists decided to drain adamantium from Logan and load it into his kinsman. At this point, Logan lost consciousness again from a laser pistol shot directly into his head. The next time Logan came to, he was dangling in a flask full of liquid. When Logan tried to pull out his claws, he realized that he had been deprived of them. At that moment, the alarm started on the ship. Logan was dragged out by the Defenders attacking the Skrull ship.
After a while, Logan returned to Japan. There he found his daughter murdered, and the Skrull, who took on the guise of Logan, at the head of the Yakuza in Hiroshima. Having entered into a fight with him, Logan lost and was killed by a skrull.
