Early Years & Youth

James was raised on the Howlett Estate during his youth and was looked over by an ill-tempered and drunken man named Thomas Logan who would constantly berate James even for the simplest of tasks. One night, James would see Thomas drunkenly make advances on the female maid at the Estate. James would get involved and try to move Thomas away to no success as Thomas got even angrier the more alcohol he consumed and struk James across the face Finally at his wits end, James Mutant ability would emerge and three bone-like claws would emerge and James would defend himself,thus fatally wounding Thomas.

A few days later, James has packed and decided to leave the Estate only for the maid from the other night to stop him and plead him to stay. James was still adamant about leaving and the maid wanted to give him the nickname "Logan" as she felt Thomas didn't even deserve the name.

World War II and the Legendary Captain America

During World War 2, Wolverine befriended and fought along side a brave Brooklyn man named Steve. According to Wolverine, Steve was one of the most formidable fighters he's ever seen. Steve was known as Captain America, and was basically a one man army. Steve sacrificed himself in order to help his country secure victory. Logan learned quite a lot from Steve. Many years after Steve's death, Logan while getting a drink at a local bar saw a man on the TV who bore a striking resemblance to Steve and even wore an outfit similar to the one Steve wore. The man was doing a press interview and referred to himself as "Captain America". The man also mentioned a team of the world's best heroes will be forming as a response to all the increasing threats not only in America but the entire world itself. The team would be called "ALLSTAR"

Death of Silver Fox & Arrival of Sabretooth

About five years since he first left. Logan would meet a woman known only by her codename "Silver Fox". The two would briefly resdie near the mountains in a cabin while awaiting their next move whether it's work The few days they resided by the mountains, Logan, for whatever reason, felt uncomfortable as if an even angrier and more ferocious warrior was tracking and hunting them both.

thirty minutes had passed and Logan had realized he hadn't seen or heard Silver Fox in a few minutes. By the time Logan found the room she may have been in, she was seen strangled by her neck by a large ferocious man who would introduce himself as Sabretooth.

The two met in combat and almost instantly clicked.

Meeting Captain America

Elite-X

At some point after escaping Weapon X's facility, Logan would be recruited by the US government to take part in the Elite-X program, a Mutant task force meant to serve the US government by carrying out undercover missions involving murder. Logan who at the time was coming off his brainwashing from Weapon X, agreed to join for a since of purpose at that point in his life and he dealt his purpose was to be a weapon.

Arrival of The New Mutants

Many years have passed since the great war ended, and Logan did what he does best which is wander to his next destination. It is approximately around autumn of rhae late 1980s, Logan makes a quick stop at a local pub for a drink. While waiting on his beer, Logan overheard the news channel talking about the rise of Mutants and how they are problem that must be handled. Initially surprised since he hadn't heard that term since his weapon X days, Logan was very

annoyed with the humans open predjustice and Logan briefly considered regretting fighting on their side but he soon reminded himself of the good man Steve was. While finishing his beer, 4 men, all obviously drunk, came up to Logan looking for a fight and a reason to pull their weight around.

Wolverine vs The Hulk

After receiving a call from Nick Fury, an old associate who Logan hasn't spoken to in years, Logan knew immediately this wasn't a catching up call Nick notified Logan that they have an immensely dangerous threat that even his top men could not put down and that Logan was one of his last options. Nick also notified Logan that if needed, he has permission to kill the Hulk if it comes down to it. Logan suits up and a Fury associate gives him a ride to the Savage Land to hunt down and eliminate The Hulk. With his expert tracking skills, Wolverine was able to find The Hulk, now reverted back to Banner form, sitting in some sort of cave. Banner anxiously lets Wolverine know he wants to be left alone before Wolverine could even say a word. Wolverine tells Banner he simply cannot do that and that he'd have to come with him. Enraged, Banner transforms into Hulk form and lunges at Wolverine and a fight breaks out between the two in the forests of the Savage Land. Wolverine managed to get several slashes and stabs on The Hulk with his Adamantium claws which clearly injured and hurt Hulk. Now even more enraged due to the pain, the fight gets more violent and Hulk gets even stronger and manages to overwhelm Wolverine. The bloody fight would end in a stalemate with Hulk passing out and reverting back to Banner due to his lack of rest and Wolverine also collapsing out of exhaustion. Fury, arriving with an ALLSTAR ship, came with some of his men to retrieve both men. Banner would be kept under heavy surveillance and Logan would be in the ALLSTAR medical facility recovering.

Rematch with Omega Red

Years after Elite-X disbanded, Logan tried to move on from that point of his life and look to the future, some of his teammates thought otherwise. The extremely dangerous Omega Red had not only not forgotten about Wolverine's departure, but had long desired a rematch with Logan for a very long time. The first time the two fought, Rossovich defeated Wolveriine and the only reason Wolverine escaped was due to his connection with nature and war experience. Unknown to Logan, Red had been tracking him and managed to ambush him in the Canadian wild. Enraged, Wolverine lunged at Red and the two engaged in a violent and bloody fight. A fight that went for nearly an hour, Wolverine managed to defeat Red however, Logan would leave the fight critically injured and scouted a nearby cave or ditch to rest his body in without anyone finding him but unknown to Wolverine, Red, despite being fatally injured, was infact alive.
