I'm the best there is at what I do, but what I do best isn't very nice.
James Howlett is a mutant with an Adamantium skeleton which allows him claws that are retractable.
History[]
James was born to Thomas and Elizabeth Howlett in 1836. He also had a brother. His name was Victor. They loved to get into mischief together. When Thomas left for four months, Elizabeth had married Thomas' brother, James. When Thomas got back, he was mad to see his beloved had married his brother. He shot James and was prepared to kill Elizabeth. Grieving his step-father's death, who he believed was his real father, James had discovered he had bone claws. James used the claws to stab Thomas. In his last breaths, Thomas revealed that he was his biological father. Surprised, this caused him and Victor to run away from home.
Fighting in the Wars[]
On the run, they discover that they were wanted for murdering their father. They had no other choice, but to leave Canada and start new lives in the United States. They snuck past the border and went to find jobs. James, a lumberjack and Victor, private security. Very soon, in their early 30s, they were enlisted to fight in the American Civil War. This gave them their chance to fight with their powers in a real-country situation. They later discover that they can't die when a bullet hits Logan in the chest.

Later in the history of the US, World War I broke out and they had to return to fighting. While in Europe, James changed his name to Logan to let go of his past and move on. Then, World War II broke out and James fought with the American soldiers alongside Victor, who was getting too far into the killing using their powers. Later, he fought alongside Captain America against HYDRA. He later fought against Japanese soldiers who were trying to keep them from getting to Red Skull, who was planning to nuke the United States' major cities. He told Cap to go causing Logan to get captured. When America got to bomb Nagasaki and Hiroshima, the Japanese soldiers killed themselves, allowing Logan a chance to escape. He saw a fellow Japanese soldier surprised at what he saw and saved him.
In the final fight, the Vietnam War, Logan and Victor were sentenced to execution for killing a senior officer. They were sentenced to death by firing squad. The firing officer shot both of them, but was unable to kill them due to their healing factors keeping them alive.
