History
Royal Fleming's background is a horror that Royal tried to keep to himself for years.
In 1919, months after the first world war, Royal's father married Ailionora Sinclair, but a few months later Galvin was sent on a top secret mission and was never seen again. Ailionora found out afterwords that her husband was missing and she immediately decided to move to America where she can raise her children in a peaceful and free nation.
Royal was born as a mutant on March 17th 1920 to Ailionora Fleming in a hospital in New Haven Connecticut, but she died minutes after because of complications that happened during labor. Royal was found by the Maximums who then silently took him from the care of the doctors and raised him till he was in his youth. Royal was 12 years old when he was taught how to fight, he passed the test with no trouble, and he also was given the nickname "Lucky Jack", not because of surviving the ordeal at the hospital, but because he survived the test of controlling his mental powers against the Maximums' special mind training equipment for Roy's kind. Roy then used the name Jack to change his name to Jack of Spades. Roy was 25 when he finished his long training with Kingpin. In 1963, Jack of Spades told the leader of the Maximums that he did wanted to be more powerful than any mutant in the world, and the leader suggested to Jack that he should infiltrate Mr. Sinister's labratory and drink the potion that made Mr. Sinister what he is. Jack also redesigned his suit to his fitting and likeness. Jack later realized that he took the cloning potion of Gambit by looking in the mirror of his appartment, but he extinguished the anger against the leader of the maximums afterwards.
A Year later, the leader of the Maximums told Jack of Spades that his (the leader) enemy is Doctor Devastation leader of the Sinister Society. He was also told that Doctor Devastation is searching for Mutants to train for his, and that he wanted Jack of Spades to concentrate on eliminating every single mutant that is an X-Man and whoever the leader of the Super Squad dislikes. Jack of Spades took the job, and he was able to change the suit of his deck of cards to the suit of spades.
