Iron Avengers is a fictional animated television series based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers and their other characters. Though it bears the name of the famous team, it focuses on the exploits of a new host of heroes named after the title itself. It debuted on Toonami and can be streamed on Netflix. Its first episode aired on the 19th of December, 2019.
The show is rated TV-PG for crude language, suggestive dialogue, and violence. It takes place in an alternate Marvel universe and is based on Marvel's run in the middle of the 21st Century. It is planned to have at least two seasons with future plans to be expanded upon once the series becomes successful.
Synopsis[]
Season 1 (Unity)[]
Four robotic doppelgangers of famous heroes form a team to set a new path of their own. Their villainous pasts mean that nobody trusts them, but against all odds, they fight on to become heroes in their own rights. As they slowly build their team, a mysterious figure from a past none of them remembers returns to terrorize them.

Trivia[]
- Prior to its general release, Iron Avengers was actually rated TV-MA which means it is much more suitable for those ages 17 and up. This is due to the immense violence featured that even made an appearance in the early stages of the show's first episodes. There are no sexual or suggestive contents, but the show is far from being a children's series or the general audience target of Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
- Chronologically, Iron Avengers is the first of the media that introduces Earth-5000. However, it was published as the universe's latest project following the less-than-stellar Mighty Defenders and Rom, the Spaceknight. The series will feature a few familiar faces here and there from the latter, though.
- It should be noted that by far, Iron Avengers is technically the only official project representing Romverse.
