History
Born in 1973 and taken by unknown forces into Limbo in 1979 a young Illyana Rasputin disappeared from Planet Earth and was never found despite the X-Men searching for the young girl for years. Now 19 years old and alive in the modern day it is currently a mystery as to how she could have survived and how she could possibly still be so young.
Powers and Abilities
Powers
Illyana Rasputina is a Mutant with the ability to conjure "stepping discs" which allows her to teleport herself and other across interstellar distances. With time and practice she would be able to teleport through time, or even the multiverse itself.
Stepping Discs: Illyana's primary mutant ability is the power to control her stepping discs which allows her to teleport herself and other's through space and time on a grand scale. This ability is so powerful that she regularly teleports from Earth to Limbo at will, a feat that could drain most teleporters in a day, Illyana performs daily and without tiring. This is also because Illyana's ability is inherently connected to the Limbo as any teleportation she does must use Limbo as a midway point before she can teleport to the other destination. As of now Illyana has been able to travel across countries, and continents without strain. Doctor Strange believed that she would be able to teleport herself to other planets, out of the solar system, and possible even out of the galaxy. She also has the ability to pull anyone she wants from Limbo by simply scanning the place and locating her target before teleporting them to her. With the teleportation ability Illyana can also travel through time itself, though at the moment she has only done this inadvertently. It's believed that if she harnessed enough power she could travel to any point in time whether that be the past or the far future.[1]
Sorcery: Illyana is a natural conduit for Magic. When she was trapped in Limbo she was trained for years in the Dark Arts of magic by Belasco the Sorcerer Supreme at the time. Here Magik's power grew exponentially until it got to a point where she could challenge Belasco in terms of power. Eventually however she escaped and met Doctor Stranger who taught her how to wield the other forms of Magic as he prepared for her to become the Sorcerer Supreme. Illyana's magic is so strong that when it came time for her to fight Belasco, she easily defeated him and became Sorcerer Supreme of Limbo. As the Sorcerer Supreme of Limbo Illyana knows a number of dark arts and ha access to Belasco's mystical knowledge. And as Earth's new Sorcerer Supreme Illyana has vast knowledge of white magic as well and is one of the most powerful sorcerers in the entire world.
