Human Torch was an android created by Professor Horton. He burst into flames and escaped the reporters, and was joined by Horton's assistant, Tom Raymond, otherwise known as Toro. They protected mankind from the Nazis, when America was about to be flooded by The Sub-Mariner. eventually they teamed up to defeat the Nazis.[1] Later, he joined the Invaders.[2] He died at the hands of Ultron.[3]
